Unfortunately the blue/green algae was in bloom during our stay, so no swimming or kayaking, but that wasnt anything the host can control. Still had a great time. The view, especially sunset was spectacular. Loved relaxing in the hammock chairs and by the fire table. Inside had everything you needed for a comfortable stay.comfortable stay. ta le.

Great comfortable home with beautiful sunset views right next to the state park. Best part was how secluded it is, neighbors are close by but you can’t see or hear them. Glad we brought our RAV4 rather than the 4Runner bc turning around in the driveway down close to the house would be trickier w a big SUV.
Please invest in a blow dryer!

We had such a relaxing time. The morning coffee on our private dock just couldn’t be beat. And the sunsets were beautiful!

Scheduled to stay 5 nights left after 1 night. Wouldnt have stayed even the 1 night but it was late and we were out of options with traveling with kids. Place was so musty smelling, had to open up the whole house immediately to breath.
Litterally a drainage ditch running next to the property, basement had lots of water and dehumidifier running. Sliding back door screen was off the hinge hanging. Window sills so full of dead bugs looked like whey had not been cleaning months. Ant traps on the kitchen counter! Back firepit was so full of weeds broken glass and beer caps we wouldnt have been able to use it even if we had stayed.

The view is awesome! There are no closets and there was no hairdryer or shampoo.

tWe enjoyed a very relaxing stay in this neat and tidy cabin that was exactly as it was described and pictured. The views of the lake and sunsets were awesome. The couches and beds were very comfortable. Could have used some hand towels in the bathroom and a kitchen towel or two, but generally had everything we needed. If others plan to do any meal prep or cooking, please note that there are plates, glasses, plenty of utensils and a set of pots and pans, but not any mixing bowls or food storage containers. Also due to no fault of the hosts, I would reconsider staying at any property on Lake Winnebago in May due to the hatching of the Lake Flies that prevented us from using the upper porch and fire table or even opening the sliding doors. Other than that, our little cousins getaway met our expectations.

We had a great time - this rental totally met our needs. I do have a couple of suggestions... I'd recommend getting a full size shower curtain even though the shower is a smaller size... it is just not wide enough to close to keep the water in the shower while you are in there. We ended up buying garbage bags because we couldn't find them (in basement) and we didn't have wash cloths or kitchen towels. We got creative there too. Beds were comfy, heat was set warm when we arrived and even though it got crazy cold and windy, the house was always cozy. My husband was too warm. It would be a place we would love to return to in summertime!

The home is located on the notheast side of Lake Winnebago. It has direct access to the lake and great views of sunsets from the house deck, the firepit area and the dock. The home has two small bedrooms, kitchen, living room (facing the lake), and a bathroom with a shower. It's a short drive to Harrison for groceries, gas, etc. We spent most of our time out on the deck or on the dock. The vegetation was badly overgrown along the driveway, around the house, and along the path to the dock when we arrived. The vegetation issue was being addressed when we departed. Again, direct access to the lake and great views of the lake. Overall, we had a good time.

Overall we were happy with our stay at this lake house property. The biggest issue was an overuse of plug in air fresheners. It was actually overwhelming. I believe it was to compensate for moisture in the basement. I would also highly recommend bringing plenty of your own drinking water. The well water had a strong sulphur odor and unpleasant taste.
The view of the lake from the deck is wonderful. Kayaking on the quiet lake was very relaxing. High Cliff State Park and Calumet County Park were both close and worth visiting.
The beds were comfortable, nice neighborhood, house was clean, happy to have access to the kayaks.

Place exactly what I was looking for. Only issue was trying to use code to get in the door. Called the contact number and was able to get in right after.

The place was overgrown with weeds, a lot of which were thistles making it diffcult to ealk my dogs. The place was fairly clean but did have used coffee grounds left in the machine and smelled strongly of mold, to the point that I had to buy air fresheners and an air purifier. The screen door was broken. The lake front had jagged rocks and rusted metal. The beds were comfortable and check in was easy. The roku player quit working but the owner did respond to my messages quickly and had a new one delivered, I did have install a new one myself. Overall not what I was hoping for in terms of a relaxing place to enjoy the lake.

Clean and cozy, very quiet area. House was clean and has everything you need. A big plus being dog friendly for a high cliff weekend. Hoping to come back in October.

This was a wonderful stay in a newly renovated home. Check in process was very easy and accommodations were comfortable. Our favorite part was enjoying breakfast outside on the balcony and watching sunsets in the evening. The place had plenty of supplies with all that you need. We went at a time that was hot and humid so we brought extra bug spray which helped! There is no dock in the back but there were two kayaks available.

My family and I were in town to visit a brother and new baby. We'd never been to this area of WI before. I will mention that the driveway has a few potholes that can be intimidating and the front lock was a tad sticky.... With this aside, our trip was wonderful. The home itself is updated beautifully. Kayaks were so fun. Neighborhood was quiet and serene. Most stores are within 20 minutes away. We had a great time. We would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay and were able to relax which is what we needed. Unfortunately our daughters and their dog were unable to make the trip as planned. The weather did not really cooperate too much with us but it didn't at home either!
We enjoyed the lake view immensly and walking in the neighborhood was relaxing. We drove into Appleton for the day which we really enjoyed. We had never been in that area and the shopping, museums, and restaurants were great. Coming back to the lake house at the end of day was a cozy end to the day.
Everything we needed was easy to find and the home itself was comfortable. I would reccomend this home as a get away destination.

Lovely well-kept property in a quiet neighborhood. Stunning views! The kids had fun playing on the frozen lake while I enjoyed bird watching and reading. Great kitchen and dining set-up for our needs. Very close to High Cliff State Park, where we hiked over the long weekend. Owner was responsive when I had trouble opening the lockbox and then getting our vehicle out of the icy sloped driveway. The driveway had been plowed and there were several bags of salt available, but the owner was not in the area, so hopefully he'll hire a property manager (or have a local friend on call) in the future if he's not nearby. If you go when there's snow, I recommend parking on the level pad in front of the detached garage.

property was cozy and well kept. it was way too cold for outdoor activities so we were inside a lot. it was a welcome sight to see that a spot was cleared for our pooch that had joined us for our stay. thanks for a pleasant stay. i wish we had brought a telescope as the skies were clear and a gazillion stars were out. the view over the lake was gorgeous.

Since we were spending the weekend in the Brillion area for a big family wedding, I found this cabin with such a fantastic view and privacy it was perfect!!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the quiet, the view and the updates interior. It had everything we needed and the Roku tv was great. Thank you for a wonderful weekend! We would only suggest repairing the driveway and caulking the shower along the floor. Thank you!

A cute little house - very clean. We loved having blankets available for in the living room while watching tv. We had everything we needed. We had an issue with water right before we arrived but they got it fixed right away and we had no issues. The only thing that we needed and didn’t have was washcloths or makeup remover cloths - for taking off makeup and bathing, but ultimately very nice place to stay. We will be back.

We enjoyed our last minute retreat at this lake house. It was quiet, and the beds were really comfortable. It was a great spot to enjoy the remaining fall color and crisp air. The kitchen was fully stocked so we were able to make all our meals without want, and the wifi was fantastic! Would recommend bringing your own drinking water, and lots of available storage on your phone for the amazing sunset phot ops. We’ll be back!

This is a private spot with a beautiful view. We enjoyed the area and did lots of hiking and just sitting near the lake and reading. A much needed break from a hectic life! Thank you!

Cabin was cozy and comfortable. A few helpful ideas for the owner to consider as time and money allow, to maybe level off the ground off the backoff the cabin as it slopes to the embankment cliff I leaned over in the lounge chair and tumbled almost overthe little rock cliff. Also sometimes the septic system emits a foul order, which can be noticed while enjoying the outside at times. Other than that it was marvelous Looking forward to coming back in the future

The cottage was a little smaller than anticipated, but as a couple looking for a short anniversary getaway it was perfect for us and our two dogs

Nice place to stay !!!
Overall everything was fine, house really close to Lake, houses on the both sides behind the bushes so it's really relaxing, bigger store like Walmart around 20 min so not so bad, beautiful view and birds' singing waking you up in the morning. Really good place to relax and charge your batteries. The only problem was that the pier was not set out. Overall nice place to stay and not far from Chicago approximately 3 hours drive. Highly recommend it 👌
