Very good hosts, answered all questions quickly. Great location, good facilities

Very good location, parking space in front of the apartment, very clean and tidy, good facilities.

If I’m being picky I didn’t like the chairs in the kitchen. We are both quite small and it was hard to get off and on the chairs and pull ourselves close to the bench. But other than that everything was good.

Lovely few days at the coast

Close to beach , short walk to town centre & metro station

The patio are outside was awful , it put you off going outside for a cigarette

Great location for us but may look at an alternative place next time.

The location was very good. Close to the sea as well as the shops. Road was nice and quiet. Nice to have an off road parking space. The message sent about the keysafe was easy to understand. The sitting room was nice and bright. The beds were reasonably comfortable and the main bedroom was nice and dark, whereas the back bedroom, although nice and quiet, was not very dark in the morning.

There was a little bit of a musty smell in the apartment and the bathroom did not have a window. The extractor fan struggled to cope with the condensation produced by 3 consecutive showers. The kitchen only had one dessert spoon so one of the children had cereal with a teaspoon! The kitchen was serviceable but basic.

Ideal apartment for perfect family break.

A good sized apartment in an excellent location. Close to the beach and restaurants. Great to have a parking space. Very well equipped apartment. TV in both bedrooms as well as the lounge. Laundry room was very handy.

A good base to explore a lovely area!

A nice, large, well decorated apartment with off-street parking. It was very close to the beach, lots of food/takeaway options nearby and a short walk from the local metro station.

While the apartment has a washing machine (really handy where kids and the beach are involved!) There is no washing line or airer. Otherwise, lovely!

location and everything we needed was catered for. The place was spotless and owners very helpful. Literally a stone throw from the beach and close to everything we needed.

Exceptional

A great apartment, close to the beach. Great kitchen very well equipped and a very nice sitting room. Two decent bedrooms, one with a double bed, and two singles, pull out bed in living room (we used this so kids did not have to sleep/argue in the same room). Modern bathroom bath and shower.. Washing machine and tumble dryer so great for sorting out clothers if you get messy on the beach. The apartment is furnished to a very high standard, some quirky art and touches on the walls. We loved our stay, and to be honest we would book this again if we come back to Whitley Bay. Has an off road parking spot which is useful as the on street parking is chargeable between 9 and 5.30pm.

If we are being picky (and the site is pusing us to do this), then the mattress on one of the twin beds was a little bumpy (the other one was fine). Second daughter used the pull out bed in the sitting room so not an issue, but if that was replaced then we would score this place 100/100, as it stands it gets 98/100.

Nice apartment for a short stay.

Lots of space and well presented property. Clean towels provided and bedrooms were a good size. Cozy front room and well equipped kitchen as far as we could tell, we didn’t use it much as we were out most of the time.

There was a bit of an animal smell to the property.

The apartment was fantastic. All mod cons available. We were lucky to have a parking bay in front of property too. Very spacious and spotless. A real find..We most certainly will book again in the future x

Lovely modern decor, and spacious for a 2 bed flat. Host was very kind leaving us some extra treats as we were doing the Great North Run. Was perfect for what we needed. We only stayed 2 nights but would be ok for longer stays too.

The mattresses weren’t the most comfy, which really was the only thing we could fault. The kettle leaked, but we informed the host who was replacing it once we left. We just made sure we emptied it after using it! Not a big issue.

A really good apartment.

It was a terrific ground floor flat. Very spacious and quiet. We liked it a lot!

Tiny teething issue on first night - no heat! A loose wire to the boiler needed fixing. Owner came out at 10pm and did a great job fixing it. no further issues.

Superb apartment and helpful hosts.

The location was brilliant and very convenient. The apartment was very spacious and loved the added touches. everything was well thought out, extra tvs in bedrooms and extra channel's which kept the kids happy. A selection of games to play and books to read. we will definetley return.

The front door was a bit awkward to lock and unlock.

Great wee break at Whitley Bay. Lovely place and really enjoyed it.

Fabulous apartment. Very modern and spacious. And a 2 min walk to the beach/prom. Would definitely recommend this property.

Very good

The flat was lovely and decorated to a high standard. The living room was cosy and the kitchen had all the utensils you could ask for. The flat was bigger than I imagined, which was nice. Thanks for leaving some biscuits on the side, they were appreciated after a long drive! We stayed with our dog, and loved how close it was to the beach. Thanks for a lovely stay.
