I loved the house and it's location. I felt the ad was a little deceptive in that "with water toys" should read "with SHARED water toys" as there are two other larger houses on the property so you have the potential to be sharing with approximately12 -16 other guest, that includes the hot tub and "private beach". It did work out well as only one family had kayakers: )
The beautiful electric gate that enclosed the 3 properties really did make me feel secure .
I would have given it a 5 on communication because the lady that managed the property responded quickly and efficiently but after the storm and deluge of rainwater in the house I have yet to be contacted by anyone to refund one night (as we had to leave a day early as the storm water had poured through the roof and flooded the home) and plausibly the cleaning fee as I would assume this is going to be an insurance claim / clean up. The storm was Thurs 3/14 and as of Mon 3/18 I have not heard from anyone and no money has been refunded.
There was an issue with the paddle board having two holes and a plug missing. My bad for not checking BEFORE I got out in the lake. But I am sure they will have all new equipment as the storm blew everything away. The hot tub worked great too !
Everything was really good - until it wasn't.

The property was tucked away at the end of the road with a privacy gate. Very nice.

We will return! Such a cute house! The owners thought of everything (well stocked!!) - it has all you need for a weekend away. Great lake front area w amenities. Just sitting on the porch watching the sunset over the water was super peaceful or coffee at the waterfront. Beds were comfie, bathroom is large, and plenty of kitchen utensils, towels, etc!

Great house. They loved it!

Not for tall people. Cute property but my son is 6’6 and it was a issue with shower and kitchen area but we can still recommend this property. It is not right on the water, which was actually ok but the way the post read, I thought for the price per night it should of been. It was across a very small street but very doable. They did have everything in the house that you could need in the kitchen which was so nice. I did have to do several loads of towels as they do not give you many. Upstairs can get warm but the downstairs bedroom is very cool.
My boys want to go back so I would say it was a good getaway. All the neighbors/ renters were very nice.

Great Lake Location
My family had a great time at this property. The lake was perfect for cooling off after a nice round of golf that was very near! The house did stay relatively warm. Stay busy during doing things around the property during the heat of the day! It was perfect for the evenings.

A Dream Come True
I have driven over the toll bridge to Little Elm many times and dreamed of staying at one of the houses on the lake. Our stay was a dream come true.
This cabin is one of three beautiful lake houses on the same property. It sits a bit back from the other two which are closer to the water, but still has great views of the water.
The house has lots of upscale amenities while it still has the feel of a cozy cabin by the lake.
The owners are continuing to developing the property but you can see see the direction they are headed. I think it will just continue to get better and better.
We had a great time swimming in the lake and using the kayaks and paddleboards. We brought some firewood with us so we had a fire in one of the firepits.
All in all I would highly reccomend this cabin. It is a cabin on a lake so there are some bugs and property development going was a little distracting, but not enough to bother us. Just keep in mind this is not a 5 star resort, it is a cabin by the lake and you will not be disapointed.
Oh yeah, and the sunsets are AMAZING!!

Wanted a quick weekend away and found this brand new property close to home, and although it didn't have any reviews yet, I took the risk based on the fact the property owner claimed all their other properties had 5 star ratings.
The house itself was very clean, newly remodeled. We all enjoyed the home, perfect for two adults and two kids. It's a really small cabin with a fun open loft area. The one bedroom is only big enough for the bed and a nightstand. If you're sleeping on the inside you must crawl across to get out of bed because there is no room to walk at the foot of the bed. That was ok for us but some people may not find that comfortable. The beach area was nice and big and had a great tetherball area the kids really enjoyed. We stayed in one of three homes on the property which sits the furthest back from the beach. You can't see the beach from the front porch which means you can't keep an eye on kids at the beach area. We had to walk in between the two other homes to get to the beach. One of the other homes was also completed but the other is actively being renovated. There were construction workers in and out of the property during our stay which was inconvenient and uncomfortable but we tried to make the best of it. There were construction materials all around the property from the home that was being worked on which was a huge eye sore. I was told that there would be paddle boards available to use and unfortunately there weren't. That was a HUGE disappointment, we were all looking forward to enjoying those. The surrounding area outside of this property is VERY rough. Luckily there is a security gate in to the property, but it wasn't operating during our stay, the gate stayed open the entire time (this made me very uncomfortable given the conditions just outside of the security gate). We had random people walking through the property, neighbors I'm guessing. There was a stray dog that would not leave us alone, hung around for hours getting uncomfortably close to us. We tried to eat our dinner outside one evening but the dog made that impossible. We also had an issue with no internet for about half a day and the only reason that was an issue is because the tv was streaming.
Overall the home and beach amenities were nice some but many other things were not so great. It's unfortunate because this place is close to home and convenient. It was a lot of money for what we ended up getting, in my opinion.

The floor areas were dusty. The attic (the main section you are supposed to sleep in) was dusty, full of cobwebs and other dead and live bugs. Explains how much they care about your checking-in. I paid $400 per night and I was expecting a nice and clean place to sleep with a 3 years old child.
Except the interior, all other exterior photos are misleading. There is no exact front beach for this property as shown in drone photos. They made us think of a different property instead of the real place we rented (I have raised my concerns to Vrbo about this and am waiting for their reply). In one sentence; It’s a poorly renovated “vacation home” surrounded by junk.
Also the attic is very hot and please don’t plan to stay there during the day time. The AC unit they have installed doesn't help at all.
After I made the reservation, all the messages the host sent me sounded like she was commanding me. When the check-out time was approaching she sent me a list of instructions basically asking me to do much of the cleaning work. She is a mean host.
