About this house rental
Escape to the lovely Blue Isle Retreat! Built in 2021, this home is spacious, well appointed, and comfortably accommodates up to 15 guests. Spend time in our spacious back yard with a private pool and lovely marsh view! Or take a short walk to the beach. Blue Isle Retreat is conveniently located between two public beach accesses. *Pool heater available for cool spring and fall visits at an additional cost of $100 per day with a three day minimum. *Pool measures 12ft by 28ft. Pool depth from 3.5ft to 6.5ft. Enjoy the convenience of an elevator for loading your luggage and belongings on the ground level covered parking area. The 1st floor offers 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths and a 1/2 bath. Also, a generous sitting area equipped with a mini bar, video game console, and a large game table - perfect for the kids to hang out. There is a full size laundry room with washer and dryer as well.
The 2nd floor (top) offers an open floor plan with a well equipped kitchen, a dining table that seats 8 and bar seating for 9. Outdoor dining for 6 is available on front deck. Enjoy the tranquil living area with plenty of light and the convenience of a 1/2 bath. There are 2 master bedrooms on this floor with lovely marsh views.
There are various decks and covered porches where you can enjoy watching coastal wildlife, dining and gathering. A gas grill and charcoal grill are available for your use by the pool deck. By the pool is a turf area you can use for sunbathing or playing corn hole. An outdoor shower and poolside bathroom are located on the ground floor. Enjoy the outdoor covered area with a bar, under counter ice maker, tv, and seating for conversation. There is a dining table for 6 by the pool. The renter's closet on the ground floor includes beach and pool supplies and an additional standard size refrigerator.
Take in wonderful sunrises and sunsets from the front porch. Stay connected and entertained with 7 large flat screen TV's, WiFi and Sonos Sound/Speaker system. We also have two bikes for strolling around the area, beach and pool toys to use during your stay. Ocean Isle is a great place for off season golf and the popular Oyster Fest weekends. Not to mention free, family friendly outdoor concerts every Friday night from Memorial Day to Labor Day at the Town Center Park.

Perfect location close to the beach, very clean and well-maintained, and fully stocked with everything a family could want on vacation. They even have a closet full of beach and pool toys! I would highly recommend to any group or family.

We stayed with our family and two other families. Twelve people total. This home has everything you could possibly need at a beach house! The cleanest and most well stocked rental we have ever booked. Plenty of room for all three families. The outdoor spaces were the favorite places of the property for the whole group. I would 100% recommend Blue Isle Retreat to anyone. The hosts were very responsive and assured everything went smoothly for our stay.

You really can't ask for much more in a Beach House. Jennifer and Jim did an amazing job of anticipating our every need.
The kitchen came stocked with every kitchen utensil, linens and towels were clean and plentiful, the shed was packed with beach chairs/toys/umbrellas.
The layout of the house was perfect for our group of 12 people and our favorite space was the outdoor bar area in the back. We loved hanging out there while the kids splashed around in the pool. The house is a really quick walk to the beach, which is only a block away.
If you're looking for a beach house for a great summer vacation with family/friends, you can stop looking now. You've found it.

We have been coming to OIB since the early 80's and this is by far the nicest house we have rented. Very well equipped and appointed. The owners checked with us before the storm and it was appreciated. Hope to return!

We gifted thus trip to our children and grandchildren last Christmas. It was an amazing week for all. The kids absolutely loved the pool and pool basketball hoop. The house was fantastic and just as the photos showed. The location was perfect, just a quick golf cart ride away. Having 3 floors in the house made it great for everyone to spread out and have quiet time when wanted. The storage room by the pool had everything you need fir the pool and the beach! Jennifer was quick to respond with answers to our questions. The kids have all begged to come back again. Thank you for such a great experience and for sharing your home with us!!

A beautifully decorated home with well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed each level of the house at different times during the week. Pool offers privacy that was an unexpected bonus. An extra trash can is needed for large groups as we found the trash can full upon arrival. Wish we had known about the elevator being out prior to check in, it was a little disappointing when we arrived. Otherwise I would definitely recommend this house to friends and family! Overall enjoyable experience.

Blue Isle Resort is an exceptional house! The owners have taken extra effort to provide many conveniences to accommodate your stay. The kitchen is the best equipped ever! And all beach items provided saved us space packing. The Sonos sound system was an added plus.
Jennifer was super responsive before and during our stay. We had some unexpected weather issues that were immediately addressed.

This property just about has everything you can possibly need for a beach vacation. The house is extremely spacious and clean and the backyard is an amazing hang out where we spent most of our time. We had a group of four families with children and the weather was also phenomenal, which made it even better. The owners were very easy to communicate with and were super friendly and helpful. The location is fabulous and of course close to the beach. Thank you, Ashfords, for your beautiful home and memories we made. No negatives whatsoever! Hopefully we will return to OIB one day

This was an incredible property. It had everything described in the online listing and more. It easily accommodated 10 of us with plenty of room to spare. The large open kitchen and numerous living spaces were great. The beach toys, boards, chairs, umbrella, and towels were really nice to have access to. The owners were very good at communicating and even called after check in to make sure we were settled in and to see if we had any questions. A great experience, we will be back for sure.

This was one of the best houses we have ever rented! It was spotless, had more amenities than we’ve seen before in the kitchen, close to beach access, beautiful views, etc. We can’t say enough about this home!

This amazing beach house provided us with everything we needed for a family vacation at the beach. The house was immaculate and looked exactly like the photos. The pool lounge is a great place for the adults to hang out while the kids swim in the crystal clear pool. Best of all, the beach is just a short walk away. The homeowner was very responsive and kind. Highly recommend a stay here!

This is a beautiful vacation home. It has all the amenities our multigenerational family needed for a week long spring break stay. The pool was a real stand out for us. The owners were very easy to work with although not much was needed from them. I highly recommend this property and hope we can return in the future.

From start to finish the owners have been amazing! I had to change the dates in the beginning and they accommodated my needs without hesitation , later this week due to unexpected flight delays I needed to add a day and they were on top of it as well!!
As far as the house, it truly met all our needs. They had everything I needed to feel at home . They had beach chairs, coolers and umbrellas for our beach days and a pool for our lazy days. It truly had all the amenities for someone out of town. The downstairs area was perfect for the evening to wind down with my friends and catch up on life. I typically stay 2 weeks every September and this is a house I’ll rebook for sure!! Thank you both for an amazing two weeks of great weather and even better memories! ❤️

We had such a wonderful stay at the Blue Isle Retreat! This home was equipped with it all- an elevator to assist with packing and unpacking, an amazing gourmet kitchen, spacious bedrooms and bathrooms, porches galore, a great backyard set up and more! This was the cleanest property we have stayed at in 5+ years and the owners were wonderful to assist us with any needs. The beach was just a short walk or ride down the street! This home provides great bikes, pool toys, beach toys, a beach wagon and beach towels. There is a home sound system that allowed us to play music for the kids while they were swimming and I could listen to something totally different while I cooked, it was a really nice feature. We enjoyed our week so much and recommend Blue Isle Retreat!

We had a fantastic week at the beach. The house was amazing and had every amenity we could think of. The elevator was an added feature we didn’t think we’d love so much! The pool area was perfect for those who didn’t want to sit at the beach all day. The location to the beach was just a short walk. Jennifer was very good at communicating and checking in with us. BEAUTIFUL HOME! Decorated like a model home and the space for families is amazing. Our grandchildren, ages 8-17 wanted a beach vacation this year and this property did not disappoint. From the moment we stepped foot on the property we felt at home. Having the elevator was such a wonderful perk as we were able to bring my mother in-law along for rest as she has been recovering from recent hip surgery and she was so relaxed. The kitchen has everything you could ever think of and more! Balconies on the front and back of the house gave everyone a chance to enjoy sunrise, sunset and wonderful breezes. The game room was so much fun that I think the adults played more than the kids. Each room comes with it's own unique style and comfort. It was so wonderful to hear from the owners by phone, email and text to just check in to make sure our stay was comfortable. They truly made us feel special. he neighborhood is quiet and neighboring guests very friendly. This was by far the most relaxing family vacation we have had and we can't wait to plan our 2023 vacation. Thank you Ashford family for sharing this beautiful piece of heaven with our family.
