It’s just under 10 minutes walk from the Manarola train station. Easy to walk w the direction given prior to arrival. When you reach this place , you will be blown away by the magnificent view. Room 5 has a balcony that comes with an amazing view. It’s just heavenly I didn’t want to leave.

A quiet, charming spot to spend a couple of days in Cinque Terre.

Extremely clean. Good size room. Great views. Ceiling fan helped make the room temperature perfect. Although when I arrived it seemed like it was basically an unstaffed B&B with only one B, I met the owner Roberto on my second day. He was very friendly and gave me some useful info on a shortcut for the CT trail. And I had neglected to bring a European phone charger, so he lent me one for the rest of my stay!

I wish there were a USB port somewhere in the room. Mattress very firm; a little more than I prefer and some might want a lot more cushion. With the window open, from my room (#4) the sounds from the train station were faintly, but persistently audible. I honestly didn't mind it, but it's something to know. Something else to know is that you'll need to contact the owner by Whatsapp when you arrive. That's how you'll get the code to enter. This was no problem for me, but some international travelers might not want to do mobile roaming or might not be Whatsapp users. For me, though, it was totally smooth.

Terrific location and communication

Location was amazing, water view! Host was friendly and helpful with information about the apartment and area. Even though the train station was nearby, the apartment was relatively quiet.

Would appreciate updated bedding and towels.

The place was wonderful. Recommended to everyone who like the sea and a place like home.

The rooms we stay is with a terrace and a wonderful sea view. It was so cozy and comfortable. All the facilities were right what we need. Will definitely come back again

It’s a beautiful place to stay

The apartment was beautiful and view was incredible. Our host Roberto was so helpful and took the time to show us where to locate ferry etc. in the town when we first arrived.

Great location buts needs updating

Location was awesome. Balcony over looked the coastline. Bathroom has recently been updated very nice

The pillows are all lumpy and old. The sheets were very rough bed was okay. I these items need to be replaced we would not stay here again

The views are unbeatable.

The views are sensational. You are literally the looking straight over the ocean. It’s breathtakingly beautiful. Roberto was so helpful. He even helped my husband carry the bags to and from our room. Be prepared for stairs in Cinque Terre.

I am sure you could get rooms in Manarola which more modern facilities but I doubt the view will be as good.

Rummet utan balkong var något mera spartanskt. Rummen är något omoderna.

Realmente la vista de la pequeña ventana que da al mar es espectacular. La habitación es amplia y tiene ventilador y aire acondicionado, también una pequeña nevera. La subida hasta el apartamento, dado que está en la cima no la considero negativa porque es lógico que cueste llegar. Tambien hay una escalera empinada para subir al apartamento desde la entrada. El señor que me atendió fue amable y se ofreció a informarme sobre sitios para visitar.

La ventana que es su punto destacable tiene que estar cerrada ya que la estación del tren está muy cerca y se oye con toda claridad cada pitido del tren (cada dos minutos) y comentarios de los altavoces. Una pena porque no puedes disfrutar del ruido del mar que está tan cerca. Y aunque el ruido de los trenes no te importe, tampoco puedes estar disfrutando de la vista mucho rato porque la habitación solo tiene dos sillas bastante incómodas y si te asomas mucho, bajo de la ventana hay una plazoleta tranquila pero siempre con alguien . El baño estaba limpio pero un poco viejo. Los sobrecitos de champú y gel eran distintos y parecían de propaganda o los que ha ido dejando cada visitante. Destacar , el detalle de que aunque no soy bajita y me gustan los inodoros altos, estaba tan alto que me colgaban los pies. Lo que no me gustó fue que las sabanas estaban muy muy viejas (aunque aparentemente limpias) pero su aspecto me hizo revisar las almohadas y tenían manchas sospechosas bajo la funda . Habían más almohadas en un armario pero ninguna me ofrecía mucha confianza ya que estaban todas por el estilo. El detalle del desayuno, consistía en unas pocas bolsitas de infusión y sobres de azúcar (alguno abierto). Dos copas desiguales para vino y nada mas. En general, el local y la habitación ofrecían un aspecto un poco desolado o descuidado para un sitio tan bueno. Sé que no se puede comparar, pero por casi 190€ la noche, en España puedes encontrar una muy buena habitación y por menos también lo he hecho en Italia. Sencillo no tiene porque se viejo ni cutre. Cabía perfectamente una butaca, una mesita...y desde luego hace falta renovar tanto las toallas como las sábanas y revisar la habitación y los detalles. Al final me alegré de haber reservado solo una noche y no dos como pensaba.

Great location with a nice view. Manarola is the nicest of the villages. Roberto’s instructions on how to get there were really good, did’t have to use any steps and was able to roll the luggage up the hill. Place was clean and great for our 2 night stay.

Great host, great place, what a view from the bedroom window and balcony!

Whilst the walk up would be difficult for the less able it is certainly worth the view you get! Roberto (the host) took the time to explain about the area and where to go and some not to bother, he was the friendliest person we met on our week away.

Very good

The location is amazing, we were a little worried about the walk up from the town but it wasn't hard at all and Sunset on the balcony is fantastic. Afterwards you can see all the other tourists go home while you get to enjoy the view from the comfort of your room. Clean, comfortable, working AC, clean bathroom, working fridge, games (chess and Dominos). Overall it's an amazing room and decent value for money. The owner is very easy to deal with too.

Breathtaking

The location is fantastic. Next to train station but not too close so I did not hear noise. Roberto the host is so welcoming and helpful giving us insight on the area and how to best navigate the city. The view from room 4 is breathtaking and photos on website do not do this room Justice. It is far more amazing than expected. Stunning view of the ocean and train station on the left. Manarola is a small quaint village.

Too short. I need to go back

I absolutely love the place. It is beautiful! The view from the room is out of this world. I could spend the whole day on the balcony just looking out into the sea.

Maybe a little far from the station and the slope is a little steep but all worth it I would say.

A great stay with fantastic views.

In an excellent location with a balcony, from which you can enjoy the magnificent views of the Ligurian Sea and it's a fairly easy walk to and from the heart of Manarola, the main street and harbour. The room and bathroom are clean and well appointed and are more than adequate for a single or couple. Al in all, a very delightful stay.

Amazing views, wonderful host!

Bruno, the host, gives a wonderful introduction to Manarola! The location is set apart from the bustle of the village centre. The balcony was incredible and made the perfect spot to have wine after a brilliant evening in Manarola. And the shower is fantastic!

The best hotel :)

Everything was perfect and so was the host Roberto! No breakfast but there was a lot of options in the village. Beautiful view to the sea and near the village. We loved it!

Perfect

Best location in manarola. Host is informative and charming. Made our trip. After check out we could leave our bags in the residence whilst we continued to explore manarola before picking them up again and getting our train - no charge. View is special.

Amazing!!

Roberto was amazing!! He washed our clothes, spoke to us so much and was so kind and friendly to us. He was a good laugh and was always asking if we was okay etc. 10000% recommend.

A wonderful stay in Manarola!

The room was likely the best in Manarola. The ocean view was fabulous and the breeze at night was wonderful. My partner also twisted her foot fairly severely, and the owner graciously supplied both an icepack and crutches to use. Incredible service!

The shower was small. That's pretty much it.

Superb

Beautiful ocean views, very comfortable and spacious, the owner was super helpful and assisted us very well throughout the entire stay

The room aircon has a timer and can only be used between 2pm until 11pm and we needed to keep your windows open during the night to let some air in, especially during summer time, however, the problem is that the room was facing the train station and can be quite nosy when it starts operating at 5am, although the windows are soundproof and when close you can barely hear anything.
