La ubicación es perfecta! Pura naturaleza, buen ambiente.

Sofa bed was very uncomfortable as a sofa and as a bed. Very noisy every time you moved.

The duplex apartment is the place to stay in Vall de Nuria. It has everything we will ever need.
7.0 / 10.0
The location. The kitchen is fair but not many utilities, the beds on the room are good, the sofa-bed is ok (in our case it was for the kids)
Not many kitchen aids, only a really big pan or really small one. But it was enough for a couple of days.

The location and inside the apartment was very comfy and had everything we needed. Also the bathroom was spacious and modern and we loved the big Windows in every room
There was an unpleasant smell at the area of the reception and check in.
Also, we were quite surprised when we called couple days before to ask few things about the apartment and the available services and the staff did not know several things (eg whether the apartment provided cleaning stuff, etc)

Everything was perfect, above all the staff. All the services were working well and efficiently. The new restaurant is amazing.
The only remarks: water is expensive, unless you buy it in the shop. Some facilities could open a bit longer. Above all the buffett restaurant, which is available only for two hours at night and it could open earlier.

snow、ski、enviroment
When sleeping, the indoor air is too dry. It would be better if there was a humidifier.

the location and views
the service received by the staff, because I ordered for a towel the first day in order to have a shower. however, this did not come that day; it arrived one day later after insisting in reception.

Location is perfect for hiking and have fun close to the nature.
Limited items in the shop for daily activities (meals, snacks, etc)

Location, that it was an apartment and we could cook, views
The furniture was a bit old and used; you had to sign in to the wifi all the time; the shop where you could find something to drink or eat was open only until 17:45 - I understand that maybe it doesn't pay off to have it open long hours but if you are doing trekking in the mountains, you need a proper supply of water and food. Also the service of the cafeteria could open earlier, at least at 8 in the morning.

If you can afford the menu, the breakfast is very good and the lunch is OK.....we didn't have dinner. The hours for the activities are also limited, for example, during summer the day is quite long but everything is closed at 17h max.
The options for eating are very limited (just the restaurant and a bar)...even the product at the vending machines are limited options. And the communication about the options for eating is confusing.

Bathrooms, size of bedrooms, comfortable beds, good water pressure. Very spacious duplex apartment. Staff in the bar/cafe and in the restaurant.
The apartment, we had a duplex for 5 people, was very spacious and we'll equipped. Unfortunately some things were broken. Phones were not working, so we couldn't call reception when we discovered in the evening that 2 of the electric window blinds were not working. We walked to reception and they called someone who came immediately to have a look. The motors of the blinds were obviously broken but fortunately we could close them manually with a broom, otherwise the kids would not have been able to sleep with all the light. He couldn't get the phones working but we didn't need them again. The other thing was the constant heat in the apartment which we couldn't really regulate. There was a fan but it was almost not cooling at all. So the only possibility was opening the windows all the time which is a waste of energy. We had 27 degrees during the night inside the bedrooms. The bathrooms were big and really nice, the kitchen small but practical but no freezer, only fridge. The beds comfortable, the sofa bed not until we discovered an extra mattress for the sofa bed in one of the wardrobes. With that it was fine to sleep there. They only provided one key card which was not so practical as one adult stayed inside with the baby while napping, the other adult couldn't go outside with the other two kids as you need the key card in order to have electricity inside the apartment but also to get inside the main door of the hotel. The food in the restaurant was ok, although a bit pricey. We had lunch twice ( buffet) and due to Covid the staff is giving you the food onto the plates. They generally put too much food onto the plates, especially for the kids and even if we asked them for 3 nuggets and a few fries, they loaded the plates with much more. So the kids obviously couldn't finish and the rests had to be thrown away.

The one bedroom apartment is nice enough, but no way it is suitable for more than 2 guests, cause if you where to use sofa, it would take all of the space.
The views where good, heating - sufficient (maybe even too much), kitchen was comfortable, overall - staying in the apartment much better experience than staying in their hotel room.
I read in reviews that some people have had problems with stinky apartment, that they couldnt open the windows and the cleaning was poor. There was some smell initially, but a quick ventilation with all windows open helped that and for the rest of the stay the smell was ok (except in the bathroom, perhaps). On one of the radiators the nob didnt seem to work for adjusting intensity, but it didnt bother me personally.
1 - check the weather forecast very well and make sure they will not ask you to leave in the middle of your stay due to weather conditions. From Barcelona it can take about 4 or even 5 hours traveling (with waiting for the connections) and it is not fun if you stay one afternoon and got to make same journey back next morning.
2 - they do not have a kettle and do not have big mugs. Coffee can be made only with the Italian coffee maker and you may struggle to understand how to use if you do not have sufficient experience.
3 - they do not have decent soup or cereal bowls - what they have is something very shallow and difficult to use.
4- I am happy to recycle rubbish, BUT - there is always going to be what they call "restos" (rubbish with is mixed, neither plastic, organic etc) and I couldn't find a bin for that. No matter how hard You try, there is always going to be diapers etc..
5 - the plastic cards for accessing elevator and apartment are very very bad. if you are not lucky it can take easily up to 10 tries to get in where its needed. However at the reception they do something to improve how the cards work. Apparently it is not ok to keep them next to the mobile (thats what they tell you at the reception).
