THE SPACE
Palm Vista Retreat is a modern minimalist 3 bed 2 bath home recently designed for a convenient and serene experience.

Less than a mile from the West Park entrance with a lot of incredible attractions, hikes, and opportunities to star gaze.

In the heart of Downtown Joshua Tree with convenient access to local restaurants, farmers market, art galleries, and more!

Sit down and star gaze at night next to a mesmerizing glass rock fire pit. (fill and re-fill your own propane at nearby gas station).

Heat up the grill and share a meal outdoors (bring your own charcoal).

Enjoy the indoors as well with a fun game of Monopoly, Jenga, Uno, or Connect 4!

This maybe an issue with all desert properties, but as this was our first time staying at one we were too creeped out, and ended up leaving shortly after checking in. The property was cute, but definitely better in pictures than in person. The communication with host was non- existent. There were multiple (what google identified as) desert recluse spiders inside the home. The biggest problem was when turning on the stovetop to cook, a swarm of ants came spilling out of the burners. They took over the surface & we could not even finish cooking or enjoy our meal without feeling like bugs were crawling all over us. I reached out to the host via message on the app, and never received a response. We ended up leaving about 4 hours after we arrived. Very disappointed in the lack of communication and the wasted food & money. We did purchase trip insurance, but “pest control” is not a “covered event”. Very disappointed in the entire experience, we just wanted to stargaze in the famous Joshua tree area, and unfortunately could not stay long enough to do that.

This was a very lovely VRBo.we loved the backyard and spent some time lounging back there with our dogs. I would say spend more than a day here. Also this place isnt child proof so be dilligent over your little one walking around. The hot tub could have been cleaner and it wasnt on when we got there. We think the breaker tripped. Other than that everything was clean and nice. it was nice to chill in the backyard and the home itself was very clean and cool thanks to the individual ac units in each room and the ceiling fans. We loved it here. Super great location if you're going to Joshua tree national park. Beautiful sunset here.

The house was nice and very near to the park and shops off Park Blvd. Although we only stayed in the master, each room had its own mini split AC so you could keep the bedrooms at good temperatures. Bring an iPad or laptop if you need a tv/show to help you sleep, only tv is in the living room. Nice sized backyard for your pets and just to hang out. Cowboy pool has a nice deck and the hot tub is right off the master that has its own door to the yard. Good patio area for outside dinners or just hanging out. We didn’t play the games but there were 4 yard games like corn hole and checkers. Quiet neighborhood and being able to park in the garage was a plus. Beds were nice and comfy. Might want to tighten the screws on the master bed frame though and chairs near the fire pit. Everything about the stay was great. Plenty of cookware and stove was nice and clean with a big fridge. Also had a nice 5lb bag of coffee from JT coffee roasters on deck for the morning cup! Simple checkout instructions are always nice. Thank you again for sharing your spot with our family, we enjoyed the stay!

The dishwasher is broken. The coffee-maker is not clean. When the bottle of water is pored and heated in the kettle, we saw many particles float. Shower water is not enough hot.

My boyfriend and I booked a mini getaway at Joshua tree. This was the only place that allowed dogs so we were relieved. The backyard had so much space and so many things to do. The trip was basically booked for my dog. Seeing how much fun she had with all the space made me so happy. Everything was clean, the set up was super cute. We used the pool, jacuzzi, and hung out outside on the hammock all in a few hours since we only booked for 1 night. Will definitely be coming back. Thanks for having us!

We stayed one night here when visiting the park. It is very close to the park entrance which was a huge plus. There are also a few restaurants close by to eat at. Carter was great at communicating - there was an issue from the previous stay but he made sure the issue was fixed with minimal impact to us.

Everything about this house is great! The pool is refreshing, the hot tub is relaxing, the hammocks are comfortable, and the stars are beautiful! The backyard was great for photos shoots and the check in and check out process was easy as well. A big shout out to Carter for being an amazing host! Thank you for helping me make my birthday weekend so special!

The property is located very close to the entrance of the park and within walking distance of town while still being dark enough at night to view a good amount of the night sky. Check in was easy and the house was very clean. The internet and tv was easy to connect to and along with the kitchen, was a nice place to unwind after a day in the sun. The pool and hot tub were also very easy to use and clean as well. The host was very friendly and easy to communicate with, I’ll for sure be bookmarking them again for my next stay in Joshua tree!

So thankful to find a house that would allow two dogs, not easy to find! Our pups like to go on vacation too. House was easy to find and exactly like the description. Kids had a great time in the water and the hammocks, dogs loved the sunshine. Nighttime trip out to Joshua Tree was great. Pie for the People was our favorite pizza on the trip. My daughter enjoyed hunting for geodes down at the rock shop. The house was just what we needed for a nice escape from our home. Thank you.

This house was a nice retreat super close to the park. We were very busy, and unfortunately didn’t take advantage of the hot tub, but it sure looked inviting. Carter had it warm and set to right temp. Next time! We had our dog with us. We needed a place with a fence. This house worked perfect. We even found a nearby dog park. Extra plus. Carter was a great host. His communication was spot on. We would stay again. That’s a high recommend from me.

It was a great location for going to Joshua Tree and a lovely spot for enjoying the desert. The yard is lovely and great for dining outside. Doggos enjoyed easy access to the fenced yard too.

Great little spot in Joshua Tree. Easy walk to a few good little eateries and coffee. Quick ride to park entrance. House was cute and fit the bill for our little family and dogs. We accidentally got locked out and the hosts helped us quickly get back in. Hosts were very friendly and easy to work with. Would certainly come back to this house for another long weekend.

I took my ten year old son for his first backpacking trip in Joshua Tree because of the great March weather and the short and accessible trails. We had a wonderful stay at the property, and it was so great to have top notch modern amenities after I made my son shut off his tech for the backpacking! Seriously he loved all the places to sit and relax, the hot tub was a huge hit, and it really did feel like a home away from home. The beds are super comfortable after hiking, and three bedrooms for the pricepoint was amazing. Thanks so much!

What can I say, this place is so gorgeous and it’s in such a nice neighborhood. Carter is an excellent host and was very on top of communication whenever I needed anything. The amenities in this place are great, the backyard is enormous, and the rooms were very spacious and cooled. The pool was so refreshing and such a nice place to hang out during the day and the Jacuzzi at night was so wonderful. My partner and I used these two to our advantage and got the most out of it the two days we stayed. The place was very clean. And very easy to maintain while we stayed if you’re looking for a nice getaway with great and amenities. You’ll love this place!

Carter is a great communicator-I had questions prior and then the 1st day. The hot tub and hot water heater were off. Carter had someone out in 20min to fix both. His place was very very clean. The place had shampoo/conditioner/body wash/toilet paper/paper towels, dish soap/trash bags/etc. Also had coffee/sweetener and cream in the fridge. Excellent proximity to 1/2 marathon and to JTNP.

What a lovely house so close to the entrance to the park. The beds were comfortable amd we had everything that we needed. The kitchen was stocked up and ready for us to cook. Unfortunately it was a windy so weren't able to get in the jacuzzi. Our family loved staying at your beautiful home and enjoyed playing the board games. Thank you so much.
