Hello! And Welcome to Columbia, Missouri! I'd like to make your stay here a great one. I have a two bedroom home (both Queen size beds), with one bathroom, that is a 1 mile walk or bike ride to Downtown, Mizzou Campus, all of the Stadiums, the MKT/KATY trail and Lots of Great Restaurants and Entertainment!

My home is a thoroughly remodeled 1940's Bungalow in the heart of Columbia. And probably best suited for parents of college students, traveling nurses, couples and other traveling professionals. There are about 3 stairs to enter the house and a full flight to the basement for laundry.

Guests may access the living room, 70" TV (Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime), fully stocked kitchen, appliances (coffee maker, etc), laundry, bathroom, private deck and driveway for parking.

No smoking, or pets allowed inside the home.

We've stayed at several VRBOs in the Columbia area in the last two years and this was the best. It felt like home.

After reserving the property, I was contacted by the owner stating that a mix-up had occurred and someone else had already rented it for that weekend. She then offered to rent her home, which was next door and also had 2 bedrooms/1 bath, for the same price as this listing, which I appreciated, since it was a 5-min walk from family we were visiting. The check-in process was easy, our host was responsive, she accommodated an early check-in, and her house was nicely furnished and comfortable, with lots of toys for children. However, there was a strong musty odor upon arrival that never quite dissipated, even though we opened all the windows and turned off the AC, keeping only the fan going all night. If that had not been present, I would have given her home, which is not the home advertised under this listing, a 5-star rating.

This neighborhood is quiet, and the home met my needs during my stay. It appears the home is in the process of renovation, which it could use. The kitchen and bath are outdated but serviceable. Clothes were hanging in one of the bedroom closets, so I couldn't hang my clothes up there. The shared driveway was a minor inconvenience as the neighbor parks 2 cars in the driveway. Overall, the home met my needs, was very quiet, and a good value.

We jumped into this location because it was close in proximity to an event we were doing at the local mall. It also happened to be near our favorite restaurant in Columbia, Flat Branch Pub & Brewing. The house was well-cared for and had a lot of space for relaxing. The bedrooms were decent-sized, and the place was clean. No complaints.

Kim was a wonderful host from the moment we booked our stay. She even reached out to check on our travels, when she found out we’d be arriving later than expected. The house was clean and very well stocked. Kim was also very responsive. On several occasions, when we couldn’t immediately locate something, she either brought the item over or knew exactly where to point us. Should we find ourselves in Columbia again, we would certainly stay here again!

Kim is a truly amazing and thoughtful host. All the communications were clear and timely and supportive of a great stay. The house was impeccably clean and super comfy, with great art and lots of good art books. The kitchen was equipped with everything one might need for on-the-fly or serious cooking. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. Great off-street parking, and within walking or short driving distance to cultural district, restaurants, university and colleges, and Katy trail access. Will definitely stay here again when in Columbia.

The property was exactly as advertised. Traveling to Columbia for the Mizzou “Parent’s Weekend”, this home was exactly what we needed. It was clean, comfortable and convenient. The neighborhood was very quiet, with a mix both updated homes and some needing a little TLC. The home is a block off of Broadway, making downtown and the school campus accessible with a $5 Uber, short drive, or even a 35-40 minute walk on a nice day. We’d gladly stay there again.

House was so clean and spacious for a 2 bedroom. My dad uses a walker and the entire house walker friendly. The shower had a pull down seat to make it handicap accessible. The front walk needs to be repaired to make entrance to the house more accessible but my dad did great with the 3 steps and railing in the back. The owner allowed us to have small birthday party for my daughter. I would stay here again

The home was very convenient to many ball fields in Columbia. Kim was very responsive as well. She even reached out when we left some items to let us know. We would definitely book again when we are in Columbia. Very cozy home and we enjoyed the massage chair!

It was 3 of us adult siblings who stayed here to visit our brother in Columbia. Kim the owner made it really wonderful. We would give 10 stars if we could. Everything was very clean and the layout of the house gave us each privacy. We love the big deck out back. Was so pleasant in morning and evening especially because we prefer the cool temps. We will be back to stay here again anytime we visit Columbia. And what 2 of us sisters loved, is that we would feel comfortable staying here alone if necessary. Kim is a wonderful host and so timely in answering any questions we had. We are so happy we found this house. Great location to get everywhere too. Looking forward to coming back to this gem. Kim was a terrific host who checked in with us a few times to ensure we were comfortable and had what we needed. The house was undergoing minor renovations in the basement, so access to a washer and dryer was unavailable. However, Kim generously offered her own appliances as an alternative. The house was clean and close to the University.

The house is in a quiet neighborhood and convenient location - just a short drive to Mizzou campus. Check in and out were a breeze. Kim was responsive, before and during our stay. One example: When heading out the first day my wife met Kim when she was checking on the house next door, and mentioned that the pump to the body wash in the shower was broken. It was no big deal, just given as an FYI. When we returned there was a new bottle of body wash at the door! It was a fun trip and I'm glad we stayed here. Thanks, Kim!

Nice property, and a good location. Very clean. There is only one small mirror in the bathroom, no full-length mirror, and the dishwasher does not work. But, otherwise, it was great for our small group.

Owner was great to work with and very helpful in planning. House was clean and very well equipped. The only thing I would ask is working porch lights and a full length mirror in one of the rooms. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location. Host was super responsive, property was extremely clean. Every kitchen utensil imaginable was available. Living room and dining room were spacious. Bed sheets towels and linens were in great condition and plentiful. Comfortable living.
