I rented 2 houses to hold my husband's
memorial service. Had arranged a catered lunch at Red Baron. Had to shuttle from the strip mall on 176 to the house. No way to turn around, so had to keep backing up the steep driveway. Not suitable for elderly guests. I would not rent this house again.

The house was perfect for our 2 families! 2 separate living spaces with plenty of room. Beds were super comfortable and great views of the lake out the windows. It was close to the Tryon downtown area with little boutiques and dining.I would definitely rent this home again!

We loved this property! As someone who grew up on this lake, it was a wonderful place to be during the holidays. The view of the lake from the upper living room was so pretty and peaceful, both day and night. The house was clean and spacious. Having the fenced in yard was great for our dog and the living room on the lower level was wonderful for movie night. While the driveway takes some getting used to, we will definitely rent this property again. Also, when we arrived, the light above the dining table was not functioning, we called Yonder and they came the next day to fix, very responsive. I grew up on Butter Street, am familiar with this property and am so happy to see the loving way this house is being cared for and enjoyed.

Perfect house for our family group: family of 5 with 3 small children downstairs, two couples upstairs. Kids fished from the dock and swam (water too cold for most adults in our group). Beautiful lake views. Leaves beginning to change in early October. Easy access to restaurants, hiking, apple picking and other attractions. Wonderful cycling around the lake and elsewhere. We would like to rent this house again.

We rented home for family reunion.
Pros: interior of home nicely decorated and clean. Nice fenced outdoor area with grill, firepit and chairs. Kitchen downstairs, no dishwasher. Small dock across road for swimming and fishing.
Cons: No dishwasher in either kitchen. Only eight chairs in dining room. Unable to eat together or play games. Trash and can at road upon our arrival never picked up. We used trash can in gated area and were picking trash up on road every day due to (raccoons?). Many tiny ants around kitchen sink despite frequent cleaning and keeping food off counter or in ziplock bags.
