About this cottage rental
$75 cleaning fee!!!! $50 per dog pet fee, up to two dogs. 10% discount for a 3-6 day stay, 15% for a 6-29 day stay, 20% for a month or longer stay. The Cabin at Little Bee Woods was completed in December of 2022, and we are excited to welcome our guests to this modern and comfortable cottage and grounds. The cabin has two bedrooms and two full bathrooms that sleeps eight guests. The primary bedroom has a king-sized bed with a twin, and the secondary bedroom has a queen and a twin. The living room has a convertible, yet comfortable, sofa to accommodate additional guests. The great room has an open floor plan, a gourmet kitchen, a large dining table, and a living room with a flat-screen TV. The entryway to the cottage is a two hundred square foot timber frame screened-in porch with a table perfect for morning coffee or an afternoon cocktail while watching the sunset over Watch Knob. We are the ideal spot for a romantic getaway, family vacation, couples vacation, or micro-events. Black Mountain is fifteen minutes door-to-door, and Asheville is twenty-five minutes. Come on up and relax in the Swannanoa Valley.

This gem of a mountain retreat well deserves its 5-star rating! It is a beautiful, new structure with all the amenities you could ask for, with an ideal layout for 2 couples. By far the favorite part is the screened in porch overlooking the mountains — perfect for morning coffee and evening cocktails. We even saw a bear stroll by (we were safely ensconced on the porch). Only a 20 minute drive to downtown Asheville, with easy access to all of the outdoor activities you might want to enjoy in the area. Do be aware that the house is perched atop a mountain accessed via a steep gravel road with a few hairpin turns — best to arrive during daylight the first time.

This property is one of the better ones we've rented for family vacations and it's exactly as advertised. If you're looking for a quiet place to wind down and watch the sunset through the trees from a cozy screened-in porch after exploring the greater Asheville area, then this is for you. The house has everything you need for a comfy stay, including a relaxing hot tub.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Charles was wonderful and easy going to work with. The surroundings were exactly what we were hoping for, the cabin clean, cute, yet spacious. I don't think there is anything he forgot to supply the kitchen with. We spent several mornings and evenings out on the porch enjoying the view and nature watching. We highly recommend!

We had an excellent stay a very new home on the mountain. Kitchen was great to use, grilling outside was very nice, and the hottub with the stars tied it all together! Highly recommend for couples or a family, there was more than enough room for groups!

We had such a wonderful time! Charles communicated with us before, during, and after our stay to ensure that we were well taken care of. The cabin was beautiful, and the screened in porch provides excellent views of the mountain and a relaxing place to lounge after a long day exploring Asheville. We will definitely be back!

Man! We couldn’t say more about this place and the property owner. A little peace of heaven tucked up into the mountains with all the amenities any one wanting a get away could need. Our time here was relaxing and so peaceful. We would highly recommend staying here. From the communication, to the check in/out process, and the thoughtfulness of the property and house makes this a wonderful stay. Can’t want to go back!

Took a long weekend Spring Break trip with our family (and dogs) and had an absolutely wonderful trip. Charles was a great host. He had the place looking pristine for us and was very attentive and available via text whenever I asked for recommendation, or had a question about the house. The kitchen is incredible and the various methods to prepare coffee was something that really stood out to us. Can't wait to come back and enjoy this cabin again. Nestled perfectly between Black Mountain and Asheville, accessing either town was a breeze! Can not recommend this cabin enough!

Our stay at Little Bee Woods was awesome! I like to cook when I go on getaways and this rental has more than what you need to cook any dish. The place was clean upon arrival and the host was very personable. I would recommend this rental to anyone looking to get away and enjoy the mountains.

This property is great! The cabin is completely modern and updated. It was very clean and well maintained. We loved the Sono speakers! Charles, the owner, communicated very well with us. I hope we can stay again soon!

My friends and I stayed here during our holiday break from PA school & absolutely LOVED our experience. Little Bee Woods is the perfect place for privacy & relaxation. We even got to see a few black bears off of the front porch one morning. The kitchen was extremely well-stocked & they even had some games for us to play while we were there. Would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking to stay near Asheville for a getaway.

The pictures of the property do not do justice to how beautiful the house and property actually are. Everything about the house/property exceeded our expectations. We had such a good time that we did not want to have to leave. We definitely are hoping to be able to go back again next year.

This is a lovely property. Everything was exactly as the listing said it would be and more. The house was beautifully designed and curated. Completely charming and a perfect getaway. Charles was easy to connect with and totally attentive to any requests and questions. It was a great space for just my husband and me, but would also be great for our family as well with two bedrooms and plenty of sleeping spots. We loved our time here and would absolutely stay again!

Thank you for sharing your little slice of heaven with us! The home was immaculate and the views were stunning! We loved sitting on the deck in the morning listening to the birds as the wind blew through the trees. It was so peaceful and it made it difficult to leave for a day of hiking. At night we loved listening to music on the porch, sitting by the fire, and relaxing in the hot tub! The beds are super comfortable and the home literally has EVERYTHING you could possibly need for a stay! We got the pleasure of meeting Charles and his super sweet dogs! Charles is super cool, and an amazing host! He was so accommodating and super responsive! I cannot thank him enough for allowing us to celebrate our 15 year anniversary on his property! We will see you again next year with the whole family! Cheers!

Our top priority when staying somewhere is cleanliness. They definitely hit the mark! It was spotless! We loved everything about this cabin! It was perfect for me and my husband during our little getaway! Highly recommend!

We really had a great time at the cabin. We loved the interior and freshness of the cabin. It gives a very warm and comfortable feel, and we have to rank this number one in cleanliness and comfort feeling from all the properties we stayed in. You can tell the owners take extremely well care of the property, and it does not feel like a rental, but more at staying at your own house. Please do not change that!

The house was great. The front deck was great. The back deck was great. The hot tub was great. The speaker system was great. Cell service was not great but that was the point.

The house is absolutely amazing, super new and super clean. Was a wonderful getaway tucked into the mountains. My favorite part were the speakers in the porch and in the house that were easy to link to, so you could play music all the time. Made for a great atmosphere. Charles told us how to turn on the “light show” while we were out in the hot tub and it was amazing! So many little details he made sure to think about and it showed. We loved the screened in porch and so did the pup! I’d go back in again in a heartbeat, we felt pampered even out in the wilderness

We had an amazing week at Little Bee Woods. We spent the days hiking and exploring the beautiful mountains and nights relaxing on the screened in porch, resting in the hot tub and playing games with our kids. The kitchen was spectacular to cook in with out having to go out for dinner. The hosts were great and responded quickly with any questions.

We loved the cottage! Had everything we needed and more. The house was clean with comfortable beds and an awesome private feeling. Communication with the property owner was great, he was so helpful! We loved coming back here after a busy day. Will be back!

We had an excellent stay. The house and property are very nice (i.e. brand new). The kitchen is incredibly equipped. The bedrooms and living area are very comfortable. We took advantage of the hot tub and especially the screened-in porch where you can soak in the best of nature (without those nasty pests of nature). The road leading up to this perfect escape is rugged and it helps to have all-wheel drive. But once on top, you'll never want to leave.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Little Bee Woods. The screen porch feels larger than the pictures. It was our favorite place. It's so peaceful listening to the Hooded Warblers, Blue Headed Vireos, Pileated Woodpeckers among others. We spent most every afternoon just enjoying the surroundings from the porch. Even when a little warm out, the fan made it comfortable. The other deck is nestled in the woods so that you can easily see wildlife from up in the tree canopy. Inside the house is spotlessly clean. The beds are especially comfortable and we slept well. The gas stove and oven are appreciated for whatever cooking is needed. A nice change from the typical electric stoves in vacation rentals. It was relatively easy to get to the Blue Ridge Parkway which is where we spent most of our days. The hosts were respectful and gave us our privacy, but made sure we had everything we needed. I really hated to leave and will definitely be back.

My family had a wonderful vacation at Little Bee Woods. It’s a super special property, that gave us a space to unwind, connect and explore both the land around the property and other adventures in the area. The home was pristine, beds comfortable (we all slept very well!), and kitchen beautifully equipped with everything we needed. I spent several hours reading on the porch while the kids ran around and explored. Charles, the host was super communicative and helpful. My kids are already asking when we can go back…we will definitely return!

If you are debating on booking the Little Bee Woods, let me help you decide! Book it! This was the first outing my husband and I took with our two small dogs and it was amazing! This place is gorgeous. Plenty of beds and space to sleep. Everything is super clean and incredibly well stocked.
The decor is beautiful, everything is new and the whole place feels calming.
The screened in patio. Just wow. It’s the place I spent the most time. If there isn’t a natural breeze outside they have a fan to help that out. It’s quiet and lovely.
The kitchen!!!! Second place I spent the most time! I don’t want to leave it! 😂. So well stocked with great pots and pans, sharp knives, super cool plates. They even have spices stocked for you! I noticed too, in the closet there is a Turkey pan and cute baskets…so if you’re up here over a holiday…no worries!
Keurig, bodem drip coffee maker, hot water pot will let you have your choice of morning beverages! And get this…they have an ice machine!!! Not like in the freezer machine…a stand alone bullet ice maker! Also a fresh water filter for ice cold water!
The Sonos sound system was easy to set up to and made it so fun to be able to listen to your music inside and out. The bathrooms were clean, beautiful and well stocked.
It’s like the owners sat in their place and just thought…what can we add to make this place perfect???? And then added that! Even had ice cold mugs in the freezer!!!! Perfect place for a get away!

We rented Little Bee Woods as our vacation home during a trip to Asheville and were so happy with our stay! The home was beautiful, clean, and sat on the most beautiful piece of property. We had the opportunity to meet Charles during our stay and he was so friendly and helpful. Couldn’t have picked a better place to enjoy our time in North Carolina. Little Bee Woods gave us the tranquility we were searching for while still being close proximity to the city. We would 100% rent here again!

Pictures don't do Little Bee Woods justice, beautiful quality home with everything you could need or want. So quiet and peaceful, amazing views from the screened porch or the hot tub. We loved every moment from the home. The owner provided the highest level of service and communication, exceeded our expectations. Cannot say enough about this location too, so many wonderful places to eat and things to do nearby in Black Mountain or in Asheville. Excellent memorable trip!
