Our family stayed in this home for our trip to Legoland. The home was perfect for our family that had 4 kids enjoying the property. They loved the game room and the adventures in the backyard. The host was very responsive and was extremely hospitable. There were small signs that showed directions for different operations in the household. We would definitely recommend and plan on staying here next time we take a trip to San Diego. What a great experience!

we felt right at home. It was rainy so the game room was a hit with the grandkids

My family stayed at this lovely home while we attended a wedding. It was myself, my wife, our 3 kids, my mother and father in law, and my wife's cousin; clearly a full house! This home had plenty of space for everyone, and the beds were very comfortable. The home was clean and ready for us a little early, which was great. My kids loved the game room, and everyone had a really nice stay overall.
There were a couple things that were odd, and I'll put them in order here:
1) There is**NO** privacy in the master bathroom. There are large windows in the toilet room the main room that are level with the windows of the house behind. There are no blinds / window coverings that you can lower to block this view. Furthermore, when you're in the master shower, anyone on the back patio can look up and see you; from waist-up under the shower head, you can been seen from the back patio.
2) There were a few items in the kitchen that had been put away dirty, such a spoon that looked like it had dried ice cream / yogurt on it., and a cabinet that had a plastic shoping bag full of trash put in it.
3) There was some left-over clothes (back tie, etc) from the previous guests that were in the master closet.
I'm willing to overlook #2 & 3, as it's hard for a host to clean everything 100% between visits. #1 is harder for me to excuse, as it just feels very uncomfortable to use a bathroom and never know who can see you.
Would stay again, but would bring something to cover the windows ourselves

Vacation from out of town for our kiddos birthday to Legoland and this location was amazing for it! My family loves to travel together and this house was the perfect fit for us. ~20min from Legoland and lots of delicious places to eat in and around the area, Karl Strauss and Belching Beaver Breweries were favorites! The house was inviting, comfortable and spacious. Kitchen had everything we needed. The weather cooperates with us and we all had an amazing time.

Beautiful home with a lot of amenities. Great communication with owner, easy check in, loved the backyard. Would definitely stay here again!

The house is as advertised. 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, large kitchen with all the cooking utensils and cookware needed for cooking. Kitchen dining area with separate formal dining table—both tables seat 6.
The backyard has a propane fire pit that sits on a furnished deck overlooking the house and the valley. In addition, theirs is a propane grill for BBQing with an outdoor table for dining on the patio. Plus, a finished patio sitting area.
There’s a game room with 2 multi-game arcade type video games, a foos-ball game, and a skee-ball game. I spent a lot of time reliving my youth here.
If you have a pet (dog), the backyard is an enclosed adventure zone. Our dogs spent every day exploring the backyard. Cory made it a point to make the yard/fencing secure. Very nice touch.
This house is perfect to 2 families of 4-5 people each. The closest grocery store
Finally, the owners have typed instructions placed throughout the house in picture frames for added assistance. A very nice touch rarely seen in vacation home rentals.
We will rent this house again the next time we return to Vista, CA.

Very nice house, in quiet neighborhood. We were 8 adults, (2 sets of parents, and 4 grown children). 4 of us were working from the house, so we needed lots of room to spread out and attend meetings etc. The house met our needs well, we slept in the master which was great, our grown children didnt find the bunks very comfortable, but they are probably fine for an actual child. Glood flow in the house, abundant indoor and outdoor space, AC and wifi worked great.

We loved our stay here! Vista is a great little town and this house was perfect for my family. The kids absolutely loved the game room! We would definitely recommend it.

Such a lovely and spacious home and yard. Our whole family enjoyed having a comfortable place to land and chill between vacation activities!

The price was right, the communication with the owner/manager was seamless, but this place was not as advertised. It needs work.
For starters, the carpet was completely stained throughout the entire house (even in the master closet). There was a note taped to the wall, apologizing for the stains, claiming there was an unauthorized party, and that they hadn’t had a chance to address the carpet before we checked in. I feel like this is completely unacceptable. At least this should have been disclosed ahead of time. It was disgusting. We had small children and a crawling toddlers with us.
There was a sink in the master bathroom that was broken, again, another note apologizing. That same bathroom had a giant window looking into the shower without coverings. We had to use a blanket to block the view. In fact, many of the windows had broken or missing blinds/coverings.
Even though the house smelled like cleaning product, it looked grimey and worn down.
This house is clearly lived in, as you can see, family pictures and family belongings all over the house. I felt a little uncomfortable staying in a house full of someone else’s things.
Again, the communication and accessibility went very smoothly. The price works for a group. But I felt uncomfortable the entire stay. If this house had some TLC, it would have been a much better experience for me and my family.

The location is great and the neighborhood is quiet. Lots of space with two sitting rooms and a few outdoor spaces. The upstairs carpet was very old and stained. Needs to be replaced. A few other small issues, but overall this is a great stay. Definitely recommend.

Extremely clean and close to the interstate. Will definitely stay again.

Beautiful house in a quiet wonderful location. Very easy to find with a lot to do in the surrounding area. The host is very easy going. I would stay here again if I am in the area.
