Lovely light, spacious, homely flat. Stylish decor. You can tell someone loved it.
The washing machine didn’t work and the hot water was only ever luke warm in the bathroom. The building itself was very noisy and not well maintained.

We were in attendance for the yearly Margate Soul Festival, so booked relatively late, so I was pleasantly surprised to find this accommodation. The apartment was a little gem inside a fairly tired building, which was once a hotel, I believe. The flat had a cosy ‘boutique’ feel about it which I especially liked, but it felt like ‘home from home’. Comfortable bed, great shower, and all the amenities you could wish for! 😊
Minor point, but bathroom could do with some lighting for applying makeup? Also, we had a rude awakening on the morning of our departure with loud pneumatic drilling outside where rendering was being stripped from the building! The owner was unaware of this, so was suitably apologetic.

The double bedroom and living room have perfect sea views. It is just a few steps away from the seaside tidal pool rated as the most beautiful in the world by CNN. The homeowner's decoration and design style is fashionable and warm, and the room is clean, tidy and comfortable. The owner of the house thoughtfully and carefully prepared brand new kitchen sanitation and cleaning products for the guests.

Good location, a nice walk to the Turner gallery and near the sea pool. The flat itself is decorated really well and very comfortable. Really lovely views out to see and of the setting sun. A quiet location and easy to find. Good instructions to get in.
There were a few things that need a little up keep. A lamp in the lounge that needs fixing. Some light bulbs in the bathroom that need changing and the WiFi that is fine for using mobes but no go for streaming a film or series on Netflix or Prime. The large shower head needs a fix too.

Location was great, and the flat is so nicely decorated - felt very comfortable, and was a pleasure just to sit and watch the sea.

Lovely clean crisp bed linens and big fluffy towels. Interesting decor, and lots of blankets and throws if the temperature dropped. Very clean. Great location, minutes from the sea and promenade.
The flat is huge and on the second floor, so we had great views. The lift worked continuously, which was much appreciated at the end of a busy day.
We don't have Amazon Prime at home, so we binged watched the latest series of Picard in the evenings! A treat for us.
I should point out that I "mark hard!"
The outside of the building and the hallways are dingy, but don't fear- the flat is lovely!
No blind in the kitchen, so it got very hot. Making sandwiches for a packed lunch or getting breakfast in the mornings was a sweaty ordeal since we were lucky enough to have good weather. Also, the kitchen window needed cleaning on the outside. I did throw out some foods that were well past their sell by date, that previous tenants had left. Cashew nut butter with a 2020 date anyone?! I think it's fine to leave stuff like sugar, salt and pepper or even tinned goods that you don't want for the next visitor but anything that can go rancid .... ew. And it shouldn't be down to the cleaner to go through the items. Grumble over.
Despite checking with the owner, there was no hairdryer when we arrived. The owner doesn't live nearby, but ordered one to be delivered by our cleaner. However, we ended up picking it up from the lovely lady at her home, as it ended up more convenient for us.
No long mirror in either bedroom. I had to use the hall mirror, which is very dimly lit.
We felt the duvet was a winter weight, so we were rather too hot in bed!
I don't think the owner realises that the flats now have a recycling scheme, as the final message from her on the last day was incorrect in this regard.
The WiFi was very variable. It often dropped out in the mornings but was usually OK in the evening. We couldn't work out how to get freeview on the tv and had to use the apps all.the time.

excellent location and fantastic sea views from
the rooms. easy to park and less than 3 min walking distance to a quiet beach. 2-3 mins drive from the Main Margate Beach , but perfectly quiet place to stay away from the busy area. clean accommodation and excellent facilities.

It's a comfortable, very well equipped flat so would be great for a longer stay. The host was immediately available when I had a problem with the key box and sent someone along to fix it within 10 minutes.
No dislikes at all.

The pictures don't do the venue justice: it is spacious and homely and gorgeously decked out. The views are absolutely spectacular. Most comfy bed and best night sleep EVER. Luxurious bathroom. The info booklet put together by Amelia demonstrated she is a lovely person and a good host. When I was there I just wished it was my flat and I lived there. Not your average place to stay and would definitely stay again! The main building is far from prepossessing but there's history there and Amelia's flat transports you.
Coffee machine or at least decent quality instant coffee was sorely missed and I couldn't find a guest book, which I wanted to write in. The info booklet was a bit worse for wear, putting it all in a nice ring binder would be a good shout. Toiletries were all nearly finished so replenishments would have been nice, I know it's not a hotel and not to be expected but either have it to a generous standard or not at all.

Great location. Fab apartment with all you could want and more. Outside of building shabby but inside the apartment modern and chic.
Maybe a blind for the kitchen window. Sunlight can make it difficult eating breakfast

Loved the apartment! It was made all the better as from the outside, the building doesn't look much but inside the rooms were spacious, well appointed, clean and furnished beautifully, with all the amenities you'd want. Parking in the town is expensive and hard to find so we walked a couple of times there and back. This is 20 minutes each way though that didn't bother us. The view from the flat is great and we couldn't ask for nicer accommodation and parking where we were was never an issue.
Not much!

My family and myself like the views from the property just couple of minutes walk from probably. The flat was clean had everything we needed.
The distance to the centre of Margate. We had to go up the hill. Apart from that everything was fine.

This place is gorgeous; super stylish, modern, clean and location wise is perfect. Beach is walking distance, and is quieter than main Margate beach, so for us was perfect! Amazing sea view. Tesco is 5 mins away. Margate 20 minute walk into the centre. The bathroom is just stunning.

lovely clean place to stay. very comfortable double bed. super shower. well equipped kitchen. easy to find and access. great sea views.
wonderful sea views but neither beds not sofa really faced that direction. couldn’t get oven to work but that could have been me. would recommend eye masks and not black out blinds or curtains. noisy road in morning as host mentions in helpful brochure on the building.
