Property is in a fine location. Unfortunately, they are letting small issue grow until they will become big ones. Routine inspections and maintenance is lacking.

So cool! Very clean, lots of beds, and at about 3-6 pm don't be surprised by some large, hairy friends. Very cool, up close experience.

This stay was everything I had hoped it would be. Spacious home with room for the whole family with bear crossing through the yard several times every day. It was a perfect location for our family vacation. Completely would stay again!!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The cabin was perfect and had plenty of room for our family of 11. We felt like we were right in the middle of nature. We had many bear visitors walk by the house so just be mindful.

Plenty of room in this cabin, checking in was super easy and the location was good…not far from the strip at Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. When we started figuring out the cabin we noticed odd placements for light switches and fan switches, you have to go to the living area on the main level to turn on the fan for the upstairs, every fan in the place had a lot of dust on the blades. The a/c works very well for the 2 lower levels, but there are no vents for the upper level so it is definitely hotter upstairs and there are 4 beds and a futon upstairs. We thought we would open windows upstairs, but one of them next to the pool table had no screen, with it being summer and bugs out we didn’t want tons of bugs upstairs so we had to leave it closed and deal with the heat upstairs. The dishwasher works, but the upper part has to be slammed open or shut because the top of it is caved in. One of the bedrooms had a tv mount, but no tv. Plenty of creaks and noises when walking around or just getting into a bed, but that is to be expected at a cabin. The decor in the location is laying around in some spots vs being on the wall, which makes it a bit unwelcoming. Overall the cabin is nice, but just a few minor things could be changed and it would be an amazing place to stay. Dusting goes a long way

The property was clean and is in a great location. Sometimes the list of amenities on VRBO does not match the list of amenities that actually work well. In this case, it definitely did. The hot tub, WiFi/TV, grill, etc. all worked very well and added to the appeal and comfort of the property especially after a tiring day out.

This was a very nice place to stay. Me my wife and daughter stayed here for a few nights.
THE GOOD property was private and had its own driveway was not shred with other cabins, hot tub was hot and worked well, bedrooms was clean and most everything was provided.
THE BAD there were cigarette butts in the bathroom vents as well as ashes on outside table beer lids were on back porch olaround hot tub, pool table needs lot of work bumpers sagged, living room chairs did not recline.
We very much enjoyed our stay and it was a great quiet place.

The owners as well as the manager could not have been more pleasant. They both were quick to answer any message or phone call with the few issues we had. My husband and I took my elderly parents as well as our children and grandchildren. We ranged from 10 months to 82. Total of 14 in all (not the entire stay) they came and went as their jobs allowed. With that many, showers plus hot tub use we had to go purchase more towels and wash cloths to keep from having to do laundry constantly. It rained one day that we were going to grill and their grill isn’t covered so had to buy a grill to go under one of the porches. It seemed they were under some small renovations. Appeared they had a renter that messed up some of the window treatments. My parents room had no window covering at all plus their tv was inside the closet. Other bedroom on main floor was beside the hot tub so they chose the bedroom w no TV and window treatments. Overall it was a beautiful home with a beautiful view with very good location. Not far at all from the strip in Gatlinburg. We enjoyed every minute of our week with family. Will be staying with them again in the future. Can’t wait to see the upgrades.

This cabin is very nice and fairly isolated considering the proximity to town. The driveway up to the cabin is a bit steep but it is in the mountains so that should be expected. The only things that I seen that could be improved on is the Kurig machine is outdated and barely works and the landscaping outside the cabin needs to be improved. Other than those 2 minor details this is an excellent place to stay.

Great for family. Issues were 4 non functioning coffee pots. Inadequate number of garbage bags. Had to clean previous clients garbage out of can! Gross!!

Over all there was a lot of potential in this cabin. Hosts were pleasant and the cabin itself had a lot of great features. The location was great too. My issue came in a few things. 1) the cabin didn’t seem the cleanest. The shower I had still had gobs of hair in it. Entering the cabin the floor seemed somewhat dirty as did some of the railings in the common spaces. 2) a lot of stuff was broken. My friend sat in a chair while getting ready and it just fell apart. There were window screens laying on the ground in various places. The toaster barely worked, one coffee maker need great care to get it to work. There were blinds that were broken (looked like someone just through a party) and beer bottle caps and cigarette butts and empty packs laying around outside. We had a moment where we were afraid we my get accused of all this stuff. The hot tub was questionably rightfully called one.
On the good side, my bed was comfortable and there was plenty of sleeping space. Plenty of room in the cabin for several families, and nice outdoor space. Maybe just some attention to details would be helpful and an inspection now and again to get rid of broken things.

The property was wonderful. There were 10 of us and we had one room that was not used. We all had plenty of space. We enjoyed the fire pit. I was planning to buy a Christmas tree since we were there for Christmas but there was one already in the basement so we just moved it up and decorated it. The bears were very very active and got into both vehicles we had there. Thankfully no damage, but lock your doors! I would absolutely rent this property again.

This was a lovely property with plenty of space for our family and larger groups. We enjoyed our stay. We had a few slight concerns and addressed them with the property manager. Just an FYI: When we were there the washer and dryer were supposed to be replaced and never were so not sure if there is currently a washer and dryer.

We loved the Three Bear Retreat!
The cabin was perfect for our family vacation, and Josh’s team was responsive with any questions we had. We loved the porches for our morning coffee and how close the cabin was to both national parks and downtown Gatlinburg. We grilled and used the fire pit most nights and hung out in the billiard room afterward. We would definitely stay here again.
