Open and airy in the summertime and cozy and inviting come winter, this highbank waterfront home on Whidbey Island features an unforgettable view of Saratoga Passage. This is a place to savor the quiet atmosphere, look for orca spouts and bald eagles from the deck, and enjoy walks on the beach via the Baby Island Beach Club entrance.
This two-story home sits near Rocky Point seven miles northwest of Langley, on a lovely piece of waterfront property with a grassy lawn and a spacious deck - a wonderful spot to barbecue and dine with a commanding view of the passage.
The interior is a showcase of the same vistas, not to mention lofty ceilings, exposed beams, and details of natural wood. The main living space is on the first floor, where you can sip your morning coffee in the window seat and cap each evening with a movie by the wood-burning stove. Fill the in-between hours in the well-appointed kitchen with stainless steel appliances, an island with a gas cooktop, and a window-lined dining space for six.
At night, leave the day's clothes in the care of the washer/dryer, retreat upstairs to the loft workspace to log onto the WiFi, or sweat out any lingering stress in the primary suite's private sauna. This bedroom also offers its own balcony with a beautiful water view.

My family and I had lovely, refreshing time at Saratoga Lodge. The road was quiet. The view of the Sound and Camano Island were uninterrupted and gorgeous. Black tail deer visited us daily.
As rustic as the Lodge is, its amenities were modern. The location, oddly was within 8 miles of any other place that we wanted or needed to go to.
We are definitely bookmarking the Saratoga Lodge for a future stay.

Great property on Saratoga passage! Nice driving distance to Langley and Coupeville.

The location is excellent. It is close to Baby Island, and on low tide you can walk to the island, which we took advance of. During our walk, we saw a baby seal, which was amazing. Everyday we saw eagles flying by the large windows, and there were excellent binoculars provided. It is a quiet neighborhood. We worked remotely four days during our visit, and the house worked very well for that arrangement.
The furnishings and decor are dated, but the house is very cozy and clean. All the appliances work well, and when we needed dishwashing detergent, Vacasa delivered it right away. Overall, my husband and I recommend this home. Thank you for a lovely visit.

We loved the view to the water. We saw whales one day. The house was very comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you would need to cook. It was extremely quiet. We enjoyed exploring Whidbey Island. The 2nd bedroom is in a loft area so not completely private/quiet if somebody is up early.

House was perfect - quiet with a spectacular view of the sound throughout the house. Enjoyed sitting inside and out. Queen size bed is upstairs with a view King size bed is downstairs with no view - so you have to chose on that. Peaceful stress free delightful location. Make sure to walk down to the beach at low tide (trail is down the road to the right a sign will show for guests only down a gravel path). We watch a bunch of eagles soar around. Bring a book and don’t miss the Braeburn for breakfast in Langley go early or prepare for a worth it wait. Happy travels

This was a great place to chill out and relax. Langley is a nice little town to explore and the rest of the Island is more or less within an hours drive away. This was a great home base.

The property's best feature is the amazing view. The area is nice and the house had lots of books, lamps, kitchen supplies and things to make it comfortable.
Vacasa is another story. Very difficult in their correspondence and an unusually early check out time of 10 am. When asking for check out at 11 am, I finally heard back and they offered 2 pm for an extra charge! Rip off. Never was connected to the hosts, just Vacasa reps.

This property is lovely! The views are beautiful, even on rainy days. The inside is like a holiday home should be - clean, well-stocked, comfortable, and private. We would definitely rent this home and recommend it to others.

It is a great location with an amazing view of Saratoga Passage. Convenient parking and an accommodating floorplan. We checked in at night so there were just a couple small areas where we noticed could have been cleaned better once it was daylight. In the front entry there are quite a few cobwebs to the left upon entry and also to the left at the top of the stairs. The vaulted ceilings are great and make the cozy little home feel roomy.

We loved the views of the Sound from the Family Room and Kitchen. There are huge, padded window seats that we took full advantage of. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you could need for dining and preparing meals. The beds are comfortable and there are plenty of extra linens if needed.

It took a few months to write a review but here it is. Amazing location and the cabin is beautiful with everything you need to have a lovely stay, super clean and organized. The road to the property is amazing full with trees and forest nested nicely along the ocean. I had an amazing time, few little towns around not a lot of stores though but Langley is so close and it has restaurants, bars and an amazing fudge place. Can’t wait to come back to beautiful Washington and mostly Whidbey Island.

We went kayaking everyday and walked to the island. We read on the deck and enjoyed the view both morning and evening.

We loved waking up to a variety of wildlife including whales, seals, and bald eagles. Very thankful for the supplied binoculars, they got a lot of use! And the sauna was very relaxing. 10/10 would stay again if we’re ever in the area

The property had everything we could possibly need. Over all the cottage was warm and cozy. The beds were comfortable with plenty of extra pillows and blankets should we have needed them. Our stay was super peaceful and relaxing with short drives to either Langley or Freeland. The view from the cottage was beautiful. Parking was off road and spacious. WEewould gladly book this property again.

One of the quiestest places I've ever visited. Every amenity possible and thoughtful touches everywhere like the very nice binoculars, first aid, well stocked kitchen. The view was amazing.

This house was nothing like the bright photos advertised! It was old dark and smelled mildewy and musty! The windows were filthy and front porch was slippery due to mold and endless pine needles and debris. Also there were old piles of dog poop on the front lawn

The three of us (two adults, one teenager) and our family dog spent four days at Saratoga Lodge. We enjoyed everything the place has to offer: the view, the fireplace, sauna and bubble baths. The hosts are offering good music, books and games, along with fully stack kitchen.

Lovely home. All amenities and equipment were available. Lots of thought to what visitors would need, except instructions. 4 remotes for TV but no instructions. We’re not able to access anything during entire visit. Back door lock was broken so unable to secure property. Reported to Vacasa who said, “needs to be addressed immediately” but did nothing.

We enjoyed the views and the layout at this very comfortable home. Gives you access to the beach trail (owned by the community) a short walk away. Only want to give a heads up to people traveling with a dog - yard is not completely fenced.
