i goofed on the outside code to unlock the door and couldn't get in and sent a message through the vrbo app telling the host I couldn't get in and he immediately called me. It was clean easy to navivgate and comfortable. i LIKED THE LAYOIT

Immaculately clean, backyard securely fenced for our two dogs, every essential provided. We had a huge thunderstorm during our stay. We had already left for the day, but the owner came by with a generator in case we had lost power. We slept through the storm and never lost power, but it was so thoughtful of him to check. We plan on going back next summer.

Our daughter has 6 kiddos so we always get a short term rental. This one was one of the best. Communication was easy 👍 House has plenty of beds 👍 The ping pong table was a plus for when the kids came to “our house” 👍 We’ll be looking to rent again next time 👍

House was perfect for 3 adults and a dog. Quiet neighborhood within short driving distance to everything we wanted to visit. House was very clean and had everything we needed.

I absolutely adore this house, it has so much space, even though it was just me and the dog…. But we loved it. The fenced in backyard is so great and provides privacy.

You will not be disappointed if you stay here!!! They had EVERYTHING you need, including trash bags, all cleaning/laundry soap, towels, etc!! Appliances great, outdoor space was awesome,

As you can see from the title, the house checked all the boxes for us. It's in a very quiet and pleasant neighborhood. It's also close to Grand Haven which was important to us.

Exactly what we needed! Great cozy space with everything we needed in a great location. Owner was friendly and accommodating. Large yard and an unexpected amount of entertainment for our kids in the sun room with the ping pong table. Thanks for the great trip!

The house on Rood is clean, well appointed, and situated in a quiet neighborhood near Muskegon. There is a large number of shops and restaurants near by and, best of all, Lake Michigan is a short drive away! The house's large, fenced-in back yard was great for letting our dog run free, and the ping pong table was a nice touch!

The house was clean, we had some issues with the bathroom toilet, was very slow to flush. Had to plunge numerous times. The back yard was not trimmed at all. Lots of weeds, even rag weed. But it was quiet and close to where we wanted to be, the overall experience was ok.

Property owner was fast communication and responses. The home is older but it was very clean. CLEAN matters the most to me so this was a good rental experience.

Mold around bathroom tub, drain so nasty it discinigrated. Stove and refrigerator dirty and drawer missing. Fireplace doesn’t work. No window coverings on any windows except 2. Barely any supplies in kitchen. No dressers, no clocks in either bedrooms. Backyard weeds everywhere and broken open metal rusty doors to crawl space under house. (Dangerous!) Dirty dishes w/ food on them in old dishwasher. Crazy make shift toilet and tiny dirty sink behind a 2’ wide doorway. Stayed 1 night and left in the a.m. Paid for 5 nights. Contacted owner. He’ll only refund the cleaning fee. We lost almost $1,000. for this dump we couldn’t bare to live in. VRBO should look into this property quickly.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. We have rented multiple vrbo places in southwest Michigan and for the price this one is at the top of our list . We were 3 miles from a dog beach for our two furry friends to play and the privacy fenced in back yard was awesome also. Within 10 minutes of downtown Muskegon and only 20 minutes to grand haven. Both great little towns to visit restaurants and breweries . Would stay here again for sure.
