About this apartment rental

The Iron Mountain Loft in the Rocky Mountains is the latest addition to our Holiday Home Rentals. It's a brand new 2000 square foot Penthouse with vaulted alder ceilings, incredible views of the Rocky Mountains, Rundle Range and Ha Ling Peak and Restoration Hardware furnishings. The living room, dining room and enormous 2oo square foot deck all have unobstructed views to the south-west of the breathtaking, jagged Rocky Mountains. The deck has 2 infrared outdoor patio heaters so that you can enjoy the beautiful mountain views all year long! Enjoy the greenery and the sparkle from the pond below that converts to a skating rink in the winter. Take in a communal hot tub after a day hiking, biking or skiing at the Tamarack. Have a look at our Northwood Chalet Whistler, our Driftwood Beach House on the Sunshine Coast and our Mokihana House in Kauai, Hawaii as well; they are all part of our Holiday Homes collection of vacation rental homes.

You can't beat the location of the Iron Mountain Loft - right below is the high-end Alder Grocery store which is locally owned and enormous as well as the Brigette Restaurant with an outdoor patio. The City center of Canmore is just a 10-minute walk along the creek path. The vibrant Elevation Place recreation center with a swimming pool, climbing wall and fitness rooms is just a 10-minute walk.

Some of the world's best hiking is found in Kananaskis Provincial Park - all within a 10-20-minute drive. Paddleboard, kayak or raft on the Bow River while surrounded by the most beautiful mountains! Downhill ski at Sunshine, Lake Louise or Norquay for a full Rocky Mountain powder experience with so many sunny days! We absolutely love skiing at Sunshine - such a short drive and it's almost always sunny with spectacular scenery. Cross-country ski trails are also so close - just 10 minutes to the Olympic Nordic ski center with trails for all levels. If you like to get outside, Canmore has everything you want.

Our family of 8 stayed a week here. The property is the epitome of casual luxury. All the finishes and furnishings are great quality, and exceptionally comfortable. We had a mix of people, some spent most days at the condo while others went out hiking, biking and exploring. For those that stayed in, the condo had everything they needed. For the outdoors people, it was a perfect place yo come back to for relaxation and recharging after a full day of activities. We enjoyed being steps from miles of paths and trails that had anything from a stroll to town to some challenging hiking trails.

Much quieter than Banff. Great location with access to walking paths and playgrounds. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal and all of the appliances are very nice. The deck and views were great too! Highly recommend staying at this property.

Iron Mountain Loft exceeded our expectations! Gorgeous property, incredible views, beautifully appointed. Perfect for our family vacation to explore Canmore, Banff and Lake Louise with our adult children. Loved the Spring Creek neighborhood that we were in, very well laid out community. Lots of beautiful walking/biking trails everywhere. My whole family was talking about moving to Canmore at the end of the trip!

This property is great as it has 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths. Two of the bedrooms are ensuite and there is a full bath across the hall from the other bedroom. Great decor and fully stocked kitchen. Walkable to downtown Canmore.

This property is exactly as advertised. The unit is very spacious, well-appointed, and you can't beat the view. We also liked the location with the town center being within walking distance. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to make meals. Communication with property manager and owners was great. I'm sure if I needed something, they would have taken care of it right away (but we didn't!).

This was the perfect space for 3 adult couples to stay for a week. The living space was spacious enough to fit us all, and the views while we spent time together made the stay very magical.

Great location and exceptional condo. Probably the best stocked condo:house we have ever rented. Family of 5 adults and everyone had plenty of room. The views are amazing. Local restaurants were excellent and we were close to skiing and hiking. Banff has become so crowded that I found Canmore very enjoyable. My first time staying there. Our hosts were great. You cannot go wrong here. There is a lot of construction in Canmore but not too annoying. The only negative was there was a guest or owner below us with a dog that barked a lot starting in the morning. Again, that is absolutely the only thing that was not perfect about our stay.

Wonderful “home base” on our family trip to Canmore! Beautifully furnished and decorated, the space had everything we needed and even some things we didn’t realize that we would need! We travelled with two young children so the included pack and play and high chair were a huge bonus! Location can’t be beat, close to many walks/hikes as well as restaurants and bars. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a vacation rental and hope to return in the future!

A spacious, well-appointed condo in Canmore. A great location within minutes to downtown. Condo is spacious and has all amenities. The owners are responsive and very helpful. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a very comfortable and lovely property. The only challenge in our stay was the parking stall which was quite small for the large SUV we were driving.

We really can't say enough good things about the Iron Mountain Loft. There were 6 of us ranging from 4 yrs - 70 yrs and every single one of us went on and on about how special our stay was here. The hosts were so easy to communicate with, kind, and very responsive. The location is absolutely ideal. Coffee/gelato/grocery are easy to get to without even leaving the building. The hot tub area was a bonus. Parking was straightforward and very convenient. Two other restaurants and deli/grocery less than a minute walk Being able to walk to streets in Canmore filled with restaurants and stores was a highlight for us all as we could come and go as we pleased so conveniently. Even if you don't want to be in town there's so many other beautiful areas to just go on a walk. We ran into elk and deer on the paths, the views are incredible and it's just a great little community. For the Iron Mountain Loft itself, it may be the best place we've rented and stayed in. Everything was absolutely beautiful and unique, yet we felt so comfortable and right at home. The kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with everything we needed. The beds were all very comfortable. The large table was great for puzzles and games. And the deck was all of our favorite spots. We spent every morning there with the heaters on, our coffee and enjoying the view. Thank you for such a wonderful stay. It really will be a trip we will all always remember and we were so grateful to share it with our families.

This is a beautiful and well-equipped loft! The kitchen was well-stocked (they even had a high chair!) and the view from the patio was fantastic. Great location – it is within walking distance of shops and restaurants in downtown Canmore. The owners were responsive to our messages and requests. Highly recommend! You won't be disappointed. Very nice and clean. Nice patio and view of the mountains. Easy walk downtown. Owner was very prompt in communications. Underground parking spots are kind of small. We had 2 pickup trucks which were a tight fit. We would definitely stay here again.

My family and I absolutely loved this property! It’s spacious with plenty of room to hang out, sleep, and eat. Everything was clean and the views are great. The location is prime with just a short walk to downtown. The balcony is also so nice and we enjoyed hanging out with the heaters on since we came at the end of May :)

We had an excellent stay at this property. Very easy to locate, within close proximity to all the major things you want to do in the Banff National Park area and surrounding. Can't say enough about the interior and comfort of the suite. More than enough room, beautifully decorated but still comfortable. Highly recommend and hope to visit again!

There is no arguing here. Ceilings with soaring heights make way for magnificent views from your bedrooms, family room the heated terrace of epic proportions. I have to say that I have never stayed in a place that is so well equipped and organized. The owners are welcome at my place anytime to help organize my place. This critique would be lacking if we didn’t mention the gym which had the space but lacked modern equipment and is located in the building next door.

Very nice apartment! Our family had a wonderful time here over Thanksgiving weekend. It was so nice to be able to sit out on the deck, look at the mountains, and relax to the sound of the water fountains in the pond below. The deck heaters were an added bonus for the cool evenings. We also loved the fact that there was a walking trail nearby, as well as coffee (Beamers). We didn’t need anything from the property owners, but they were very good at communicating and making sure we didn’t have any questions or needs during our stay. The property was very well stocked, and we had all we needed for our family of 7.
