The first floor of this house is a dream gathering space. We LOVE hosting groups at our own home, something about all the shoes sitting at the front door and the laughter coming from friends around a table playing games or sharing stories. That is one of the reasons we have started hosting large groups in the homes we buy! There is space for 18 people in this house to eat, sleep, laugh, play, get ready, sing, dance, ALL OF THE BEST THINGS IN LIFE! And all in the same place to have the best experience for your trip to Minnesota.
The 6 bedrooms include 1 king bed, 7 queens and 2 singles. Luxurious Memory Foam mattresses throughout (Tuft & Needle Brand and Zinus Brand). All bedrooms come with blackout curtains, TV's, lamps and side tables, luggage racks, some kind of dresser or storage cube to store your items during your stay!
> One of the basements bedrooms is also a game room, with a 55" TV that comes with a Wii or any other gaming console you may want to hook up!
2 ensuite master bedrooms (1 on the main level and the other on the 2nd level). 1 bathroom on the 2nd level to accommodate 2 bedrooms. 1 bathroom in the basement level to accommodate 2 bedrooms. FOUR Bathrooms, each with a shower, FLUFFY towels, hand towels, wash cloths, makeup cloths and hair dryers. These are sure to accommodate a large group for a girls weekend, friends in town for a wedding or to visit family in the beautiful Mac Grove area!
Fully stocked kitchen with enough plates, silverware and glasses for 20 (drinking cups, stemless wine glasses, coffee cups, OH MY!) A full set of pans, serving dishes, kids dishes, utensils needed to satisfy all of your culinary adventures. A dishwasher, electric stove, TWO fridges (because have you tried to shop for a weekend with 18 people and only have one fridge?!). A blender, a crockpot, a hand mixer, food storage, cutting boards, pizza pans, mixing bowls, I really do hope we thought of everything! If you are worried about something not being there before you check in, just reach out and ask about it!
2 Dining Rooms that each seat 8-10 people comfortably. A wonderful space to have a great meal among great company. The front dining room has a beautiful buffet built in that includes cupboards with games and puzzles!
Large living room with 2 full size comfortable couches with chaises. Easy spot to stay in if its snowy or rainy on your trip to St. Paul! Nice additional living room//sitting area at the front of the house with a bar cart to mix up your favorite drinks and concoctions!

Have some fun with the bedroom decor. Each room has a picture that include lyrics from songs that make us excited to be in a new place to hang out with a group of people!! If you can't guess it, no worries, they all have QR Codes that will give you something to jam out to! We love to hear from guests if anyone was able to actually guess the songs. Some of them are easy and others a quite hard. There is something about a song lyric that brings us all back to a certain time in our lives. We hope some of our songs will bring some joy to your stay!

This house is very unique and the set up is amazing for a bigger crowd. We loved our stay. The host was always quick to respond to my questions and messages. I would definitely stay here again.

This house was perfect for our family and friends reunion. Plenty of space for dining, socializing and plenty of comfortable bedrooms. The kitchen is narrow so don’t expect a lot of teamwork in cooking but it is certainly adequate.
We loved the location in a lovely neighborhood, great for walking. A small store is at one corner, a tap house the other and a gas station and wine/beer shop in the next block.
Tanya was a great communicator and quickly answered all my questions. I highly recommend this rental if you have a large group.

we came for our daughter’s graduation with family and had a lovely experience at the Groveland Inn. Tanya was communicative, the house was as shown and better. Super well equipped for large groups, we had a lovely family gathering over the weekend - I would stay again!

Great house with all the amenities included!
Only thing that was an issue was the Hot water ran out rather quickly for a house that sleeps 16.
Love the charm and character of the house. Nice to have blankets in the living room, games available and a fully stocked kitchen! Overall a wonderful stay!
Property manager was awesome too.

My friends and I were traveling to Minnesota for the pond hockey tournament and had 13 guests all looking to stay in one house. Not an easy task! This home was perfect for our group with plenty of room to spread out
My communication with the host from day one was excellent. She quickly responded to all of my questions and was great about helping us with a couple of requests. You can tell that she really cares about providing a quality experience for her guests.
The house itself was well cared for and well stocked. It was great not to need to worry about packing soap or shampoo or immediately stocking up the home with extra paper towels or TP. We also had all of the basics that we needed for cooking, including good quality pans and dishes.
The sheets and towels were also good quality and comfortable and extra blankets were provided.
I recommend this home to anyone visiting the area!

We rented as a place to get together for the holidays. The place was easy to find for folks who drove as well as those coming from the airport. Check in was easy and the house was ready as expected. We had 5 adults and 5 kids ranging from 8-16. The space was awesome! Grandma was able to stay in the first floor so she didn’t have to climb stairs. The rest of us spread out in all of the wonderful bedrooms and the 3 girls shared the basement game room and had a multi night “slumber party”. The game room was awesome. The Wii provided hours of entertainment and the laughter I heard was hilarious! All the kids loved it. We were able to hang out in the family room at the back of the house. It had more than enough room for us all to hang out, play games, do a puzzle etc. The house included puzzles and games which was a great touch! The kitchen table and dining room table were both perfect for our family. Dining room even fit all 10 comfortably and we’re not small people (most around 6 foot or taller). The kitchen was narrow (as pictured), but wasn’t an issue. There were plenty of plates, utensils, cooking supplies, leftover containers…you name it, it was here (even an extra fridge)! The house was also convenient to go to MOA, out to dinner, skiing etc. Easy to get to and parking in the back and on the street was no problem. Our host, Tanya, was super responsive, helpful, and accommodating. Highly recommend this rental!!

We had a large family gathering to celebrate my mom's life and this house was perfect! There was not only plenty of room for us staying there but enough room for us to get together with family members stopping by. Although the kitchen is small, it definitely made up for it with all of the utensils, cookware and dinnerware! This property has all the modern conveniences of home but has also added a couple small details that I found pretty classy.
If you need any ideas for food or shopping, they are included as well.
The host, Tanya, is very accommodating and responded quickly to all of our questions(she also has great taste in food... Her favorite pizza place was spot on and fed a hungry crowd!)

This was the perfect property for a few families to meet up and stay together! We fit plenty of cousins/aunts/uncles in the home, and found everything we needed to make meals and spend time visiting together. We appreciated having a full bathroom for each family. The host was very responsive and helpful with suggestions. We were pleased with our stay!

Our group of 14 stayed here for 3 nights. The property fit everyone comfortably. The 2 dining rooms, large living room, and 2 refrigerators on the main level accommodated our group as we prepared for a wedding and watched the NBA finals on the large TV.

This was a great property and a great host! Tanya was very helpful with local recommendations and she answered all of our questions in a timely manner. We’ve made this trip the past 11 years and this was one of the best rentals we have had thus far! We would love to stay there again next year if possible!

Sleeping spaces & bathrooms were great for our group of 15 adults and one preschooler. Kitchen was small (narrow), but other spaces made up for it. We will definitely keep this property on our list!

The house is pleasantly decorated, well-kept, organized, and well-stocked. Check-in went perfectly and Tanya responded to any questions. The galley kitchen is smallish for more than one, the oven was a little erratic , but since cooking wasn’t a big part of our weekend, it all worked out. I recommend this property!

The living room was perfect for our group gathering - we could knit together, and everyone had plenty of space. Folding tables or other sturdy surfaces would have helped since we had to put snacks on the ottomans (using trays), and there were few places to set drinkware.

Great size for large family. Just be aware that the ppl staying / sleeping in the basement can hear ppl walking, talking and laughing upstairs so it's best to have ppl stay down there who don't go to bed early or want to sleep in later than the rest of the house. Also, we lost a couple of things....an earring and kid's toy, and I searched under beds and couches and inadvertently found these areas have been a bit neglected with cleaning. There was an empty soda can under one of the couches, a dirty sock under one of the upstairs beds, and just general dust under all these areas. I also found someone else's earring but unfortunately not the one we were looking for. Other than these minor issues, the house was very clean and a great place for me and my family. Also good to be aware that all the beds are very firm memory foam. Not saying they are cheap or bad beds, just no variety in terms of softness and varied comfort. We would stay again if we were ever in town. Our son got married and our family stayed here. Thank you for the hospitality and your responsiveness!

We came in town for my daughters wedding, location was quiet and central, 2 driveway spots and free street parking. No detail overlooked and 2 living rooms were nice for conversations or TV . Coffee station and we’ll stocked kitchen made informal drinks and snacks easy to accommodate guests

Plenty of room to have your own space and kid space!. Never felt we were on top of each other! Back yard is in progress but the cement pads lent to us doing spike ball and pickle ball easily with kids! Responsive renter made it easy with any questions!

We reserved for a softball tournament for our 12 year old girls. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. We liked the bedrooms spread out throughout the house. The kitchen was tight with multiple people in it but had everything we needed and we liked having two refrigerators. The first night was warm as the air conditioning were all window units and were off when we arrived. It was warm for me sleeping in the basement but I am always warm! It was nice having laundry to wash dirty uniforms. All-in-all we enjoyed our stay and gained team unity staying together. I can't think of anything we needed that the house didn't have during our stay. We would definitely stay again!!! Thank you
