The suite was very spacious and it was very clean. They supplied a shuttle to and from the Maine bank amphitheater which was great.
There was no elevator. The property especially hallways and stairs carpeting were outdated and need to be replaced.

Easy access, lots of parking, clean
The walls are thin so you can hear conversations and tvs of other guests

Room access has several door options to put you near your room.
If cold the room heated up quickly. Very quiet. In the lobby there is access to coffee and a microwave. Check in was seemless and quick.

Staff were super friendly and the pool was great. Complimentary coffee I. The lobby and in house restaurant were nice touches too.
Was Traveling with kids and the hotel only offers Roku TV which was constantly buffering and freezing. Kids had iPads to play some games but the Wi-Fi was also not able to function properly

Much more than I was expecting for a reasonably priced hotel. Wonderful, wonderful staff and my Great Grandkids had a ball. The only issue was the very loud people around us that decided to party/argue late into the night. But no fault of the hotel. Highly recommend.
As far as the hotel, it was GREAT!

There was no power all night right after we arrived the power went out. No lights no heat nothing g all night. My son is terrified of the dark. It was his birthday and we had an awful time. Plus I reserved a big room for the accommodations and we were put in a small room that looked nothing g like the pictures we were shown . It was an awful stay and I'd like a full refund d please.

Couldn't beat the price yet one of the nicest I've stayed at in Bangor. Live entertainment too
Tub / Shower is kind of odd and outdated.

Staff was quit and nice
My room had no microwave or fridge I could have paid $20 less for another room up the road and got both

The housekeeping staff were very accommodating and kind.
I was told there's 3 microwaves for the entire hotel, by the front desk clerks, and they're reserved for their long term folks. That's gotta be close to- if not over 200 rooms. At $90/night, I think a microwave or something to heat food is expected. I've stayed in some pretty ratty motels in my life, far less than $90/night, and every single one has had a microwave. To their credit, they let me know that I was "welcome to use the microwave in the lobby," a 5-7 minute walk from my room 🫠.
Additionally, there are pockets of dank smells towards the back of the hotel. And the hallways are very long with lots of corners. Dimly lit, with one window at the very end of each hall. I would not recommend this place if you're a solo female traveler.

It was clean and updated! Staff was nice

Staff was nice
Previous guests clothes were found in the room, debris on bathroom floor, bathroom was a mess and outdated. Tiles cracked and replaced with unmatched tiles, questionable cleaning.

With a midnight arrival at BGR airport, we needed a good place to sleep before driving 50 miles to our home. Bangor Grande Hotel is 5 minutes from the terminal, with a shuttle and offers quiet, comfortable rooms. There was also a 25% discount for breakfast at the hotel.
It's better to park at the airport and drive yourself to hotel than try for the shuttle when it's late. Staffing is limited after midnight.

Very dated, pictures of room didn’t match what we got

There is an indoor pool. 2 btls of water in the room. Enough towels. All amenities that are needed. Close by to transportation museum. Just off highway.
Very old shabby furniture. No coffee maker. No free breakfast.

Breakfast next door was good and fairly reasonable. The hotel was very clean and easy to get to.
There was no elevator. My room seem to be very far away. The lay out of the rooms seemed like a maze.

Breakfast and lounge was great. The coupon was a nice touch. The rooms were big and bed was comfy.
The wifi connection is atrocious. It barely works. I would get a connection to either my phone or wireless device and the connection would be lost since it was very weak. Also the toilet doesn’t seem to flush accurately. It almost seemed like it was backed up before I was there. The location I didn’t seem to enjoy either. It gets really busy around the evening time and turning left on that busy road is dangerous.
