This is a beautiful property within easy driving distance of La Spezia, where you can catch the train and/or boat to Cinque Terre. Thanks Riccardo and Simonetta for the wonderful Italian cake and fruit upon our arrival!

We had a fantastic week staying here with our group of four adults and four boys. The hosts were fantastic and the space was perfect for our group. The great room is probably nice in the winter but for our hot summer visit we made the most use of the outdoor dining options - most of our awake time at the house was spent on the decks. This home had the best shower of our month in Europe. The kitchen is filled with every possible item one could need for cooking - although we found we lost the desire to cook while we were in Italy! On our last night here we ate in Ricco del Golfo at Cantinone della Villa and my husband and I agree it was the best meal of our lives. We were a bit hot in the house - but this year in early August it was a heat wave everywhere. The home was hard to find at first - our gps insisted in taking us on an hour long circle that included driving through La Spezia so make sure you see the hosts directions. Overall we were happy with the location. Its about a 20 - 30 minute drive to La Spezia and you can park at the train station to visit Cinque Terre. Ricardo told us about the shopping mall (drive toward La Spezia and make a right turn just after the second tunnel) and we ended up spending too much time there - it was large and air conditioned and had great food. This house is a really good option for people with kids who need to run around a bit - the grounds are so beatiful and spacious. All in all we had an enchanted time and a true Italian experience!

Six of us stayed in this beautiful house in the hills behind Cinque Terre. The house and its furnishings are even more lovely than the pictures, and the view is stunning. We spent perfect mornings lolling on the sunny balcony overlooking the hills, sometimes with a short drive to Ricco del Golfo to pick up pastries, explored the surrounding villages, and visited the Cinque Terre villages. The hosts were very friendly and responsive, even welcoming us with a fabulous cake and local wine. We cant say enough how much we enjoyed this place and would recommend it highly to anyone.
