The room and view were Amazing!! The staff even left me a personal Birthday cake in my room. The nightly shows were great. Hotel was prime location-walk to Atlantis casino and straw market/Atlantis shopping marina. Staff was always friendly and helpful.

Good value. Food 4/5, Beverages 5/5.
Need to improve in client service at Reception and restaurants.

We had multiple issues while on our state.
1) The refused to give us more water for our room, which as an all-inclusive was terrible.
2) The sauna in the spa was broken the whole week stay and hot tub was reservation only
3) The staff booking our adventures messed up, and they all got canceled.
4) Overall the staff was very rude and seemed like none of them wanted to work there.
We have another trip 5 families going to RIU in cabo and I am debating cancelling and staying somewhere else to the issues we had.

Stay was great, the hotel, pool area and room were all 5 out of 5, Buffet was amazing, the only issue I had was the restaurants, the food is pre cooked and did not seem fresh, we ate only at the steak house and did not try the others, seemed like all of them had pre cooked food already. The buffet food was way better then the restaurants in my opinion. But overall, i would stay here again.

Food was bland cold and tasteless. The room key needed to be changed daily stopped working. Attitude of some staff was really good but others were just rude and lazy unless you were a young women. Drinks are warm. Air conditioning in room was poor plus had mold in the vents . Now
Have a chest infection. Music around the pool could not get away from . Plus they played 2 different types from bar and pool so mixed .

The food was great but the room had roaches and very loud we we awaken by employees and guests routinely over our 6 night stay. The room key stopped working just about every night. The restaurants were booked for all but one night during our stay.

Ratchet crowd, not a business hotel. Only worth staying if you are okay around people getting sloshed and it was pretty stinky tbh. Good buffet

Everything was great but lunch they served not good burgers, hotdogs, salad, chicken wings, and the burgers were terrible

Wonderful resort. The place was so clean despite being right next to a beach. The food was very good in the buffet and the restaurants we tried. And the entire staff was helpful and quick with any requests.

The nicest thing I can say about the place is the staff is super friendly and very helpful. The hotel is a disgrace to the modern world. The hotel is outdated by about 25 years, the rooms smell of mold and old rusty iron. Rooms are dirty, our rooms ( yes we changed rooms) were both flooded, one, by the ever leaking AC unit and the second room got flooded from the rain coming in from the porch. The smell was horrible. The bed was old, smelled and should have been trashed years ago along with its mattress.
Food was THE SAME daily. Not much for variety or taste, even the restaurants served food that was impossible to eat. Practically nothing to do on the premises, so we hang out by the beach ( which absolutely beautiful. This was not what we wanted or anticipated. If you’re looking for a quality get away, this is NOT the place you want.

We had an amazing time the food was really good all 4 days we stayed! The only thing I would complain about is the option to reserve for the other restaurants are always booked which is annoying, however the buffet never failed us! Be careful of the elevators, the doors close extremely too fast! Overall great experience I would come back again the waitresses are all very welcoming hospitality was a plus‼️

The property is excellent but if the Weather is bad like a lot of rain there is nothing else to do.They need to have some entertainment like musical shows.Unless you go to down town where the Cruise ships dock.Me & my Wife went to Atlantis they have a casino & some shows.Rui Palace is wonderful but if it rains you are in trouble with nothing to do but eat! :)

There is a very noisy construction going on next door- from 8 AM - 5 pm, with drilling/ metal jig sawing. But otherwise good

It took a long time for maintenance people to fix my balcony door. It stayed open all morning. Because the door was open the wind was coming into the room and it knocked open the liquor cabinet and it spilled all over the counter. When I initially got to the room there was still potato chips left on the floor. It was kinda hard to reserve tables at the restaurants there as well. I was only a party of one. The breakfast was the same at the buffet throughout the stay. But the service and staff was very friendly.

My experience was horrible. The customer service at front desk is terrible. I had employees bust in my room without knocking. We had to pay $50 to and from You can never make reservations to specialty restaurants because tgey are always booked. This was my anniversary and it was tge worst experience of my lifeairport. Food is an acquired taste

Infinity pool with swim up bar. Private beach area with free chairs and umbrellas. Excellent reastraunts and buffet.

Food was good. Pool access was good. Staff were friendly. Limited activities and social events at this particular Riu resort. Availability to restaurant reservations were limited as well.

Lots of rust spots and dirty grout spots in the swimming pools. Mold and rust in places in our rentals bathroom. Not the cleaning lady’s fault at all! She did a great job. There are many spots where you can tell cleaning has been ignored over time because it’s mostly out of sight.

This Riu is not for a younger crowed . More for retired folks if you’re looking forward to some entertainment and great food this is not the result for you

Great food and wonderful staff. Would definitely come again. Loved “Tweety” and “Dario” at outside bar!! We have only one issue and that is lack of ATM and hotel shop! Unfortunately you have to take a taxi to nearest
ATM.

The property is beautiful. However i was so excited to be on the 15th floor as I've been to the property several times alone. This time I brought a friend and like I said was excited for the top floor room 1515. the air conditioner was horribly loud the fan was loud. Also the water pressure was little to none
I reported the air condition however it was still loudly annoying

Traveled as a single female traveler to Bahamas. Second time at a RIU hotel because I stayed at the one in Cancun/rivera maya and had a great time. This one is adults only unlike the Mexico one which is wonderful but there isn’t much to do either than some theater shows/dancing/spa and drinking (lol!) the food was great, please try the jerk chicken and go to front desk for dinner reservations inside the hotel as the app will always tell you they are booked and they will be. It’s smaller but it does the work. I met some people and made lots of friends. The staff was super friendly and accommodating to all of my needs. They even gave me rice for my phone leak haha. The beach vendors are very pushy but they will back off if you negotiate prices, Bahamas is expensive so please know that! Otherwise, staff helped me get some fish fry located 20 mins away from the resort but I felt very safe and loved it here.

This is an average property. I was disappointed that the pool closed at 7 PM and there was no entertainment outside at the pool. There was only one lounge inside the property. The water pressure was not good on the 14th floor when it came to flushing the commode. At one point after showers, the spigot would not have any water coming out just air. When water did come, it was brown and gray. When you walked out of the elevator, you did get a sewer smell. The staff was amazing and Kellen is a phenomenal bartender! He made some great memories for us. Met some great people. I had a great time all in all. The property didn’t compare to other all inclusive resorts that I’ve stayed in in the past… I guess I had my expectations a little too high. I would not deter anyone from going here just know in advance these things.

We had a great time at this resort. The Entertaiment was good but ended at midnight. The good thing is its only 1 mile (10 minutes) away from Atlantis Resort which has a casino if you want to something after hours. The cab driver is a good source of information, you just need to confirm the cost of trip before they pull off and don't pay more than $20 for trips on the other side of the island. Some of the cab drivers will charge and they'll never have change so make sure to have smaller bills if you're planning to use them.
