Just fabulous.

Sensational stay!! Thank you Graycliff❤️🙏

We really enjoyed this hotel. Is a really interesting building right in the middle of Nassau, very charming, we loved our room, which was very big, altogether a big plus and a big thumbs up.
4.1
Stayed four nights, two adults. It’s an old building but it was very clean. Not a good property if you have trouble with stairs, since most of the rooms are upstairs. There is traffic noise and you can hear the piano and diners but that’s over by 11 pm. The food is overpriced for the quality but the wine is fantastic! The property is beautiful and must have been incredible in its heyday, but is overgrown and falling apart a bit. It’s an easy walk down the hill to Bay Street but the up is a workout. The staff and service was phenomenal!
4.1
Beautiful historic hotel, excellent service. Hotel is in an isolated area away from other shops and restaurants, it requires walking along a dangerous busy street to reach the downtown. Hotel and food are fantastically expensive.

Very classy

What was once a lovely old property has fallen in to neglect. There are some definite highlights from our stay - Dimitri at the front was wonderful, helpful, incredibly kind & friendly. The tour of the wine cellar was interesting; the large pool was gorgeous although the other pool was dirty & gardens unkempt. There was never any staff at the pool.
The rooms were very spacious & elegant however had not been updated in quite some time, they smelled musty and my husband sneezed every time he walked in. The "jacuzzi" bath was a deathtrap, a gorgeous marble top around it made it impossible to get in / out of without straddling it & hoping not to slip. There was grouting missing, & the plug was impossible to put in the bath as it had so much limescale; same with the shower head. There was the renmants of a wasp nest on the shutter, I tried to open them so we could get some fresh air. The towels were thin & small. Breakfast was awful.
We arrived the night of the Junkanoo, and as we came home at 1:30am, there was a very drunken woman having a very loud conversation with her friend in the courtyard; I also had to go outside to ask the gentleman getting ready on the patio to stop yelling to his friends, there was also another guest who loudly spoke to his phone in the sitting areas / dining rooms. We had to walk through the parking lot to get to our room as the gardens were closed and there was construction, which felt weird. Overall not what you'd expect for $500 night.

Loved the staff. Old hotel with the best charm. Management was very accommodating and kind. Staff very hardworking and pleasant. Would always come back, but some parts of the hotel could use a tiny bit of freshening up. A must see!

We stayed four nights and had a fantastic experience. The hotel is gorgeous and storied, the staff are unparalleled in their kindness and service; the gem inside the hotel is the restaurant and the sitting room where we enjoyed a signature champagne cocktail and listened to the fantastic house band. A truly fantastic experience from beginning to end. Highly recommend.

Nice gardens. Access to rooms through service areas

The Graycliff is a stunning property and we had the most amazing stay. Once you enter the Graycliff it is like stepping back in time where the ambience and excellence is at the forefront of your visit. The staff are attentive and nothing is too much trouble. The dining experience is something not to be missed and there is a pianist every night to add to the atmosphere and mystique of the Graycliff experience. Our stay truly was amazing and the history of the place adds to the uniqueness. To also stay at the same location as royalty and countless celebrities is the icing on the cake………. Graycliff - Don’t ever change!! Thank you for a wonderful stay

What an amazing stay and in the heart of downtown Nassau. If you have the extra money to spend I recommend this place, literally a mansion! Read their history and you’ll understand. Poolside service, cigars in their patios and amazing food, Graycliff didn’t disappoint! Thank you to all the kind staff as well, you guys were amazing, hope to see you again soon.

My wife and I stayed at the Graycliff. I was scouting the location with the thought of bringing back a group of business people with me for an event at Graycliff. I loved how unique the property is. There are lots of resorts, but this is a special place. It is an old building, the grounds are peaceful. We found the staff to be helpful but not always in our space, which we liked. We will definitely be returning.

It’s not as impressive as it could be . Everyone was hyped about this hotel but it was little run down and property was not taken care off . It’s a cool concept but I would not say it’s a luxury hotel .
4.1
It is absolutely fantastic, back in the times with super friendly staff in a movie kind of environment
4.1
First of all, the staff and service went above and beyond and were super kind and helpful. The restaurant and food was fantastic.
The room was clean, but I believe that the air quality was poor because a day after staying there we developed coughs and i noticed some mildew around the AC vents inside. Wifi was very limited in the room, if available at all. A hot shower was difficult to achieve in the evenings.
All in all, it's what i expected given the older elegant building style. It would have been phenomenal if it was maintenanced a little better. The yard and pools were beautiful and not crowded. Regardless of the few issues, we would still stay there again and enjoyed our stay this time too.

We are eternally greatful for the willingness of Graycliff to take in two strays. Our flight was cancelled after a number of delays and Graycliff graciously accepted us after a very late booking-and gave us an upgrade. We had always wanted to spend a little time at Graycliff. We were just overwhelmed with the splendid hospitality, the amazing food and the feeling of Graycliff in itself. You can feel the history in every footstep you take. A special thank you to Kendra and the night security.

Reality does not reflect the advertising. Pools were unkept. Overall ran down.

Lovely romantic property. This is a little gem in the island. Amazing manager, great service from Henry, Valentino and the whole staff. Graycliff restaurant is perfection from the eggs benedic for breakfast to escargot and beef brochettes for lunch to an unforgettable dinner. We will definitely come back.
4.1
A historic hotel wit historic deferred maintenance. Looks like half the rooms and common areas are out of service. Eat here but do not stay here. It is a 2-3* facility.

The staff were super friendly and the location was fabulous.
4.1
Great location if you want to do shopping in Nassau. A few blocks to downtown. The grounds are well established n beautiful. Service was excellent.
4.1
Very disappointing, overrated and overpriced. Will never go back there and cannot recommend this place
4.1
Service was great and privacy was good too. One of the most beautiful swimming pools we’ve ever seen.
4.1
The property is a well-aged beauty that appears lovingly maintained. Only area of concern we had was the shower/jacuzzi tub: due to the configuration of the plexiglass attached to the tub, the floor flooded when we showered.
4.1
Plantation style decor with fine service and extraordinary dining.
4.1
Excellent dining. Fine old world charm.

In general my stay was good, but there are some complaints, e.g. my room was not made at 15.30 in the afternoon. The shower was not in the best shape, was afraid it brake down when using it.
The rates in the restaurant are too high, compared what you get, they are not justified.
I have the feeling they only benefit of the name Graycliff.

All in all it was a great experience to stay at Graycliffs. The atmosphere is wonderful. It is such a difference compared even with high ranked hotel-chains.

The restaurant and the wine cellar

Historic hotel with an excellent restaurant. The pool area was lovely.

Amazing! Absolutely fantastic! Cannot wait to come back

This property is perfect for the person who enjoys character in a property - in a good way. While it is a very old building, it has been lovingly maintained. The room, more like a suite, had beautiful high ceilings with a four poster king bed and access to a veranda. The air con was outstanding - it needs to be in Bahamas. The photos of the pool are very accurate.

We loved everything and look forward to returning many times!

Graycliff Hotel is a lovely place if you love old world charm and an intimate setting for a vacation. This was our second time here and the service was as excellent as always. We loved spending time at the gorgeous pool. The room we stayed in was beautifully appointed although the shower didn't work--just a trickle of water came out. We enjoyed evenings at the lounge listening to a pianist/singer that sounded like Billie Holiday. I was disappointed that the prices for dinner at the restaurant and the cocktails & cigar at the lounge seemed to be more exorbitant than two years ago when we were first there. It's a grand place but I'm not sure we would return again for that reason.
4.1
A beautiful stay - from the amazing historic room to the beautiful pool to the outstanding service and of course Ms Pam at the piano. A magical stay! I felt like I was a time traveler!
4.1
The hotel lives on old glories. It’s clear that the owner hasn’t been investing a dime for decades. Restaurant overpriced and outdated, lacks of any choice of simple food at a more accessible price for hotel guests when they want just a bite for lunch. The place has a huge potential but has been totally neglected - tapestry old, stained and bad smelling, stunning marbles in bathrooms but full if cracks and stains, windows and doors not pained for ages, plastic flowers full of dust. What a pity. The place so full of history - it could be a jewellery, but it’s just old, neglected, and only exploited till possible. Would love to see it in a different hands - of somebody more conscious that times have changed and you have also give to the client and it’s not enough to sing the old glories. They are definitely gone in this place.

GrayCliff is magical. You can feel the history and enjoy the elegance of a first class service and excellent dining. The wine cellar tour was the Best adult experience I’ve had in a long time. If you have an appreciation for well thought out planning and organization the wine cellar is stellar, given the volume, it’s a beautiful place to experience. GrayCliff Hotel is my favorite place to be in Nassau. It’s a first class experience and worth every penny.

Deluxe rooms advertised as having views of veranda or gardens but the Windsor room has no external windows at all. It has two internal windows with restaurant tables directly outside which means terrible noise as well as no natural daylight. There is also no TV in the room.
Staff were helpful in moving rooms at night but at checkout a different receptionist tried to charge extra for a room that was fully paid in advance.
