Hotel has the wrong information on their recorded message about the airport shuttle. It states their van is marked La Quinta. We waited a half hour for the La Quinta van to no avail. After listening to the message several time I called and spoke to the front ask to find out the shuttle is actually run by a parking lot company, not marked La Quinta but marked Airport Spectrum, a van that already passed us. We ended up having to wait another 30 minutes which meant we waited more than 50 minutes for a pick up outside in the cold at night. I told the front desk their shuttle message is wrong and basically they told me, “yeah, we know.” They seemed to really not care. We’d already been informed they under construction via an email the day before. Piss poor service, and fix that damn message asap. Your guests deserve better than this. Never never never again. Don’t book this place. If you do expect a construction site, and check with a human being about their shuttle service and who is actually picking you up at LAX.

Great place to stay close to the airport but was under construction/renos! Elevator from parkade did not work due to Reno’s. Lobby was super small and draped in tarps. Carry and go breakfast was available from 7 on. None of this was noted while booking/reserving. Would have been great to know instead of unloading car, then reloading to drive back dow to find front and unload again since elevator from parkade to lobby didn’t work. Room was newly renovated and very nice! Clean and bright.

Stay was horrendous, first off the place was being remodeled, you guys charge for breakfast and gave out a poor excuse for breakfast picture will be bellow, there was no besides the room, there was only one creamer and one sugar with a dirty coffee maker. Restrooms were not stocked with new items or enough toilet paper. Parking was an additional $45 a night should be included with stay, if so many changes are happening with the place close it down for a while until your able to run it properly

I was not aware of construction on property. I picked this hotel for two specific reasons because it had a pool and the pool was closed and for the complimentary breakfast being advertised at 6am. Upon checking in due to construction the pool was closed and restaurant closed. Breakfast would be 7am take away. I asked if any accommodations could be made in regards to breakfast and the only thing offered was early check in which was nice but not what I expected. Alao the shuttle to the airport was confusing as we were told every half hour. I needed a 6am shuttle and it did not show up. We were there at 555am and waited until 620am and took an Uber. The front desk said they don't have communication with shuttle driver.The hotel looks like it will be nice when completed but had I known about construction and limited hours and amenities I would have stayed somewhere else.

The hotel is still under renovations, but that does not justify the bad service; when I made the booking, I made some requests for my room location, and when I got to the hotel, I informed the receptions about my prior request. She completed the check-in process without any comments regarding my request, she gave me my room key and sent me on my way, only to find out that it was a noise room located on the lower floor, which was not what I requested. Not the kind of service I was expecting from a LAX airport hotel. I probably will not book this hotel again.

Parking is extremely high based on the remodeling conditions of the hotel is about 45 to 50 dollars per night, it ahould be free due to the remodeling process.

Terrible place under Reno’s. Absolutely disgusting. Only positive was that our room was newly renovated. We were directed to a holding area in the parking lot while our room was being cleaned. No amenities there. Even the washrooms were porta potty’s. Breakfast was cancelled and even coffee wasn’t available. I could go on but what’s the point

My 2nd time to book La Quinta Inn for a lay over before the flight. The lobby was under renovation this time around. But the staff was helpful. Rooms were nice and clean. They have free shuttle to and from the airport.

Hotel was nice the service horrible. They lie about the incidentals on the website, it's really $100, and when we checked out a few days later I have 13 random charges that used all $500 of incidentals for the 5 rooms we had. Called the hotel, but the cleck said she was too busy to help figure it out. She said to file a dispute at my bank, lol.

They did not mention anything about it being remodeled until after the fact that we had just reserved a non refundable. Non of the amenities were available, like the Gym, restaurant, etc. Not worth the price as it is under construction and they don’t list it anywhere on the reservation website. Not happy with our stay, not coming back!

Arrived and coild not park my lifted truck. I had called ahead of time and was told they had valet parking, not true. So when i arrived i was told sorry but we don't have anywhere to park your vehicle. I had to go next door to starbucks and pay them to get a pass to allow me to leave my trusk there. The room was dirty. And there is noise all hours of the night. Will not ever stay there ever again Very disappointed in

The parking lot is extremely bad! Even homeless in the area. The elevator did not work. The rooms are nice and the cleaning ladies too but the rest was bad. The service very bad. The place is in between construction so it is a mess but the service was bad because they were not very helpful or understanding. Also to have the room clean you have to call 24 hr before otherwise it will not be cleaned. I won’t be coming back.

Hotel currently under renovation which made some issues for our stay. The elevator from the garage was down making unloading and loading difficult as there was no way to stop in the street. The restaurant was closed and the breakfast was a minimal grab and go. Otherwise everything else was very good.

They don't tell you when you are booking, but after you book they send you a message about the breakfast buffet not being available due to "minor renovations". They are not minor. The hotel is undergoing massive construction and should be g greatly discounted or maybe even choose during this time. Please be AWARE - the hotel is very inconvenient currently and there's heavy equipment beeping day and night!

False advertising. Got email that renovation and restaurant closed. However major renovtions being done to hotel. Renovation noise till 6pm. Lobby, lobby restroom and garage elevator are closed for renovation. Luggage held in garage area with early check in. Electrial outlets near bed non functioning. Charge hotel fee, but no amenities provided! Would not recommend this hotel at this time.

Found out about renovations day before checkin. The grab and go breakfast was pitiful, you should have taken more care to have a reasonable selection including protein. The cooling system should be made more explicit about its operation. Given the wide variety of tv channels, any reason why MSNBC was missing? Also, there were no body wash or soaps in the shower, All in all, a bad experience.

The hotel notified us only 1 day before our stay that there would be construction and therefore no restaurant or amenities. They also notified us that we’d be charged a fee to pay their employees better wages instead of the company actually doing that themselves. The neighborhood around the hotel is unsafe and a bit scary at night - there are no nearby restaurants. The room was pretty nice, except the mini fridge made a horrible noise.

Did not know upfront hotel was being renovated. No restaurant no bar free breakfast was in a paper bag an apple muffin and small bottle of water each day phone in room did not work noisy air conditioner only one wash cloth for a 2 bed room had to go downstairs to request more towels for room. When checking in they requested a $100 deposit which was not advertised they put a hold on my credit card for the full amount including the deposit. The area was run down and scary at night appears to be drug infested area so we could not venture out. This is a Dump would not recommend this place. The mattress is hard as a rock. The hallway had a.old smell dirty carpet. The shuttle service was the only good thing here.

Well start off the attendant thought my card didn’t. but it did also if you have a handicap placard and they are doing renovations throughout the Hotel you would charge me 45$ for parking is insane The room was dirty and it was very little or no water pressure.

If you are already having a rough time, don't stay here. Our entire experience was an inconvenience. The rooms were okay, but over all I wouldn't stay here again. There is construction going on, there isn't breakfast, but a on the go breakfast. The parking is $45 a night for paying customers, and you have to request your room to be cleaned because they are short staffed. The shuttle pick up is a entirety different conversation. Nothing is convenient about this place.

Hotel room was very nice & clean, AC works amazing, only downfall to the stay was it’s in the middle of a renovation so pool is closed, no bar, elevator to parking is out of order and the free breakfast was a mini water, small apple juice & rec apple served in a paper bag. Wish this would have been announced ahead of time being that one of the reasons I choose it was pool, bar & free breakfast. Parking is very pricy, $45/night. The cost should’ve atleast been adjusted since we didn’t get everything they offered online.
