Excellent hotel.

We have been to this property before and we love the location and the view we get from the room. Also, the breakfast buffet is good and staff is awesome.
5.0
We always opt to stay at Mercure due to the convenience of it. The buffet breakfast is overpriced for a small eater - paid $30 odd dollars for a piece of toast and drink. Otherwise can’t complain.
4.0
Enjoyed the bar area and the buffet breakfast. Just far enough out of town to escape the hustle and bustle.

Property is dated and needs renovation. Our room had dirty carpets with spill marks. Staff was fantastic and check in was smooth. We found parking on all days we were there - free on site. Location was great, short drive from town centre. We booked double queen bed room with lake view and it had an amazing view and size.
3.0
Staff was good but there were no proper instructions regarding the use of things and at the end deducted unexpected money. Room was quite outdated especially the mat and the shower.

We had the best time staying here, very family friendly property and the staff were amazing! Great food options to accommodate everyone’s taste buds along with an outstanding breakfast buffet! We had such a great time here and would highly recommend to anybody coming to Queenstown.

Kind of pretty old property, not enough parking space. Insufficient gym equipment. The staff is very nice and helpful.

Walked into dirty room, that even the guy who dropped our bags off was shocked and he had to be quickly vacuum it as said its was not ok at all. etc.. keys wouldnt work and wouldnt let us in so wated alot of our time and stress doing that with 6 kids and disabilities not ok. Was told by staff oh weve been busy so staff havnt been able to clean like we do...what the ?? Unacceptable! Slept ontop of beds as couldnt be sure that was even clean... yuck. As for keys locking us out. Making a disabled person have to walk 5 minutes or more and down elevators t to reception just to give us another faulty card. Absolute worst stay weve ever experienced and not worth even half what we paid for... tent would have been better.

Amazing view!!

Good location and decent facilities. There was a foul smell from the toilets throughout that made the stay a bit uncomfortable.

Lovely view

The breakfast was cold and chewy, it was $32 per person so for all 3 of us when we didn’t eat much at all $96 was way over the top.
The staff how ever are fantastic- if we were to stay again it would definitely be because of the helpful lovely staff from as soon as we walked in the door u til we left again
Thank you

It is next door to qrc resort where we needed to go.
Parking is great in the morning but terrible if you leave about 6pm there are no parks when you get back and none on the street either
We could constantly hear the groaning of the elivator and hear the neighbours talking most of the night

Excellent place to stay with family and lot’s of thing to do around.

Beautiful hotel with nice outdoor areas and pool. The dining and bar areas had wonderful views and were very airy. Located within walking distance of downtown. Parking on site was very useful

Property is very nice, it would be great to have a balcony. Thank you

Beautiful view over looking the lake.
3.0
Staff great.
Old and dated…furnishing a little stale.
Parking first, come first served.
No transport down town, huge hill…a golf buggy service would be a fantastic addition servicing all hotels as parking in central town impossible.

Fantastic view from the room of the lake and mountains. Dining options limited

Good service nice view & good people

Mercure is a beautiful property with a nice view of the lake. We enjoyed our stay fully. We got dinner at the restaurant in the hotel that also has an amazing view. Buffet breakfast was decent. 5 star property. Plenty of parking available. It is a 5 min drive to the city centre but we didn’t mind.
5.0
Parking was inadequate, had to park on roadside every time when we return late, could be the reason for peak season,
Also ground floor general toilets were not clean, not even enough toilet papers. Not good,

Stunning views from our lakeview room

The pool could’ve been heated to make it warmer

Wonderful hotel

The rooms were old & rundown. We paid $760 for 1 night - we expected a luxury, but our room was old & outdated. The carpet was all coming away from the edges of the room! The bathroom was basic & the shower wasn’t clean. Even our view from the room was obstructed by the long grass & a very outdated metal fence.
