As soon as we walked in the room there was a strange odor. I couldn't tell if it was a moldy smell or what but it gave me a headache and me and my daughter woke up with a stuffy nose and congestion. There was also a dampness in the air as if the A/C was not dehumidifing the room. I also killed 2 small roaches on the desk. The place is dated but has some upgrades. Bed was comfy. We stayed only because i had booked through Expedia and couldnt get a refund.

Have stayed here twice in the past four months. Remodeled rooms were clean and spacious. Bed slept comfortably. AC good and cold. Water pressure in shower very good. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Very convenient to lots of dining and shopping, and a short 20-minute drive to the beach. Will stay here again!

Everything started off good. The hotel inside and out has a fresh coat of paint, check in, dining room, and rooms have been renovated however the toilet and shower area has not. When we opened the door to room 141, we immediately noticed a small flying insect. We assumed it was one but by after returning the next day after exploring the city, there were numerous. Front desk was notified, however, the maintenance man was gone for the day. For the rest of Saturday and Sunday, we were swatting for days. When I checked out, I had a paper plate with 3 dead insects to show management. I was informed Ms. Laura, manager, was out until Wednesday. I sent Ms. Laura an email with a picture of the 3 of out numerous dead insects. I should have known from her quick wit and the tone of her remarks ( even laughed with her about it( from other complainers that I would get the same. All summed up: Gnats were outside and you get no compensation for them following you into the room so you get no compensation! I do not recommend this place! Your chances of a negative experience are great and you will not be compensated! Drive on down the road... Can't wait to read Ms. Laura's quick wit and smarts. OAN- Breakfast is your standard continental breakfast with belgium waffles, choice of cold cereal, hot water for grits and oatmeal, biscuits with gravy, sausage patties, egg portions, milk, and choice of juice. I HAVE PHOTOS BUT COULD NOT UPLOAD.

Great stay, nice room. Checkin went good and everyone was friendly. The ice machine in our building wasn't working so had to go to another one for ice. Breakfast was ok, nothing great but not bad. Only negative was foot towel fell on floor and was caught under door.....it showed how dirty floor was even though it looked good. I'd stay here again. And best of all, Lamberts Cafe was just up the road!

Everything was great except the room was not thoroughly cleaned as far as counter tops and appliances. linens had hair in it. There were a few other issues. We brought everything to the staffs attention and they were concerned about it and said they would address everything. Breakfast is basic- waffles, biscuit, gravy, cereal. We will probably stay againnif in this area as long as the housekeeper does a better job at cleaning

Very comfortable location for the price. There were no critters, which is always a concern of mine. The pool was amazing! Very clean and warm. Good water pressure in the shower. Housekeeping could use some improvement. We Did not get fresh towels everyday, they neglected to change the trash can in the bathroom, and we had to request more toilet paper. We also discovered beer cans under the couch from previous attendees. Overall we would stay there again, was convenient to everything, and the price was reasonable. The continental breakfast was a good money saver as well.

This hotel over exceeded my expectations. The rooms had been recently renovated and are very nice. The staff was nice and polite. The only complaint I can give is there wasn’t many options for breakfast but other than that this hotel was great.

Check in was easy enough. Mostly clean except behind the toilet was really nasty. While swimming at pool there was a lot of drinking and pot smoking going on!! Overall was a decent place to stay.

The value and location was great. But the older lady at the front desk with grey long hair had a horrible attitude problem and wanted to agrue with us over my wife's service dog when I told her she had one. Wasn't familiar enough with the A.D.A. and claimed a P.T.S.D. and anxiety dog was a emotional support which it isn't. It wasn't till she called her manager and my wife brought his regisation card she had stopped agrueing. The room was pretty clean but I had found crumbs under the couch and the cushions were sticky, and the shower tempture was extremely hard to turn. Then we found juvenile bedbugs on our last day but I understand thats hard for them to control seeing how my family comes from a hotel and service background. Other than that my only other complaint was the gravy for breakfast being served was cold and the all day coffee was being put up at 9pm. The manager did apologize to us over the lady's attitude and tried her best to correct it.

The Ac comes on a 3 minutes. It kept me up. It was so loud. Kids were very noisy and running in the room above me.

The room was very nice! There was a strange smell in the hallway but not in the room. The ice machine didn't work but I didn't ask if there were others available. Breakfast was awesome!
