This was our second trip and well worth coming back! Love that we can bring the pup everywhere! Love how many trees are on property and so many shady secluded spots.

We had such a great time here, rooms are spacious and clean. Food was delicious, lobster quesadilla was the best. For sure we will be back soon!

This resort didn’t come close to the high expectations it set. From the moment we arrived, issues piled up. Check-in was a mess—the front desk agent seemed just as confused as we were, turning what should’ve been a quick welcome into a long ordeal.
Our “upgraded” oceanfront room was underwhelming. The room showed heavy signs of wear, with a bathroom door that barely closed and a shower door that didn’t seal. Adjusting the water temperature was a nightmare—it was either scalding or freezing, requiring what felt like a degree in engineering. The TV barely worked, functioning maybe a quarter of the time, so relaxing in the room was impossible.
Then there were the stairs. For five days, we hiked up three flights multiple times daily. For the rate we paid, this was exhausting and unacceptable. While some staff were fantastic, others seemed completely unprofessional—some even gave off a strange vibe that made us wonder if they were under the influence.
For the price, we expected much more than worn-out rooms, poor maintenance, and inconsistent service. A few friendly staff members couldn’t redeem the overall lackluster experience. I wouldn’t recommend this resort to anyone expecting true quality or value.

Great hotel and amazing beach

The check experience was not that great we came in and had to wait because there was some issues with our AC because of this. Our check-in took a long time we were giving us different room in a different wing that the original that we had booked. When we saw the ocean view we absolutely did not think that the room had ocean view because you could simply not see the ocean ( unless you climb a ladder maybe? ) The balcony was Facing plants as you’ll see in the picture, everything else was wonderful. We were give $100 spending credit due to the issue of the AC which made sense for the inconvenience however, once I was charged for the room, I was still charged for an Ocean view which was incredible to me .

Overall a good location with lots of activities. Generally the staff is friendly and pleasant…however there were few bad apples…not very polite. Too bad that they do a disservice to all the other hard working and well mannered staff!
Rooms can be noisy…you hear the adjacent guests or their tv. Depending where your room is….you might have to walk to the main beach area. Food is average and service might be slow.

Our stay at the Baker Cay Resort was quiet and relaxing. The staff were all very friendly, and always greeted you with a smile and a hello. The beach and swim area is very clean and well kept with a beach tiki hut right there for the prefect fruity beverages. The Baker Cay two bedroom suite was comfortable for two friends sharing a room. It’s located at the southern most end of the property closer to the pools than the beach. The main living area had a nice sofa and dinning area. Most importantly the AC worked perfectly. The kitchen was well appointed should you decide to stay in for a meal. The wrap around balcony made it nice for morning coffee and evening drinks before dinner. We dined several times at Dry Rocks, the seafood nachos were amazing. Should we ever decide to vacation in that area again, we will be booking at The Baker Cay.

The hammock end was fantastic. It is private and shaded. Great if you don't want to be in a crowd.

Our stay was absolutely amazing. We celebrated our 20th anniversary there. We love the Keys. We were welcomed with champagne and strawberries upon arrival, the views are amazing. The staff friendly, daily activities, great food. No reason to leave! Can’t wait to go back.

Expedia lies about amenities.Claims that there is a spa with hot tub and steam room…

Nice and relax place to stay. The Calusa restaurant in the third floor is horrible, food and service were very bad.

Perfect

Nice location, staff needs communication training across all areas as many times we had to repeat our requests for simple asks. Elevator broke all week and houskeeping was hard to get in a tomely fashion. Food overpriced and we saw huge spiders like tranchillas. Didnt expect this from a Hilton.
4.4
Nice food in both resturants. Great view from our room of the beach and the sea. Had a bit of a motel feel, but I think that's cos of the strip nature of the Keys.
Kids enjoyed fishing from the dock from 8-10am and the beach and sea

Always enjoy it here especially the Tiki Bar with music, and the Hammock beach!

Liked that the property is right on the water.... DISLIKED the bedding... the comforter had ragged edges and looked old and tattered... the cleanliness of the room left much to be desired ... there was garbage under the sink clearly from a past guest...

This is a beautiful resort. The beach is perfect.
Our coconut wing room had an amazing view.
The bed was very comfortable and the shower was spacious
The tiki bar says it closes at sunset, but it closes at 6:30pm. Come on! And it opens at 11. Good luck if you want a morning mimosa or evening drink on the beach
My main issue is check in. We visited her twice within a week. 3 days and then 2 days during a keys travel trip.
Both times the room was delayed being ready.
4pm on the dot, and then, 5pm! 5pm….really???! The day is over. I paid over $500 a night for that? Oh, but be sure to check out by 11am.
Hire more staff!!! Hello, Hilton corporate…they need staff.
One day they were out of towels.
The bar water machine is always out of ice
Live music thurs-sun would be a good move
The pool is lovely but its a hike from the beach area.
Food was good but overpriced.
Staff were friendly though. But i am sure they are overworked. And still were friendly! Please get more staff.

Excellent food and amazing beach , my waiter Marjorie at Calusa was amazing and so sweet and caring

Unfortunately I did NOT enjoy that I had to share their private beach bathing with dogs, I understand that the hotel allows pet, but to bathe on the beach were we sharing, honestly I was very disappointed, and disgusted, Hotel should remarked this on their site.

This was the PERFECT place for us! Great location and the grounds were amazing. Loved all the little activities there were, especially the silent disco. Restaurants were very yummy too! Great beach area and Tiki Bar! Can't wait to return. Get a room in the Hammock Wing. Its so pretty to wake up to.

Great view family friendly and very relaxing. Restaurants on site are outstanding.

The hotel property is beautiful . The location is great. The exterior needs some upgrades . The grounds had trash all over . Check in was long . After we were finally assigned our room we had a knock at the door by personnel stating she didn’t know anyone was supposed to be in that room . Then while our family was changing to go to the beach an entire other family walked into our room with a key stating it was also their room . Something seriously wrong with computers . Then after all of that keys stopped working . Happened to numerous guests at the property . Dinner took two hours to get service and was 200$ , not even joking . Service was probably the worst out if any hotel I’ve ever been to . Positives were that we got to bring our dog , he received a nice puppy welcome package upon arrival , the beach was nice and full of starfish . Wouldn’t return .

It was a beautiful place for a getaway with my teenaged children. They enjoyed the freedom of movement from pool to beach. It seemed very safe for that. I discovered the adult pool on the last day. Water was shaded and cool for the hot summer days. Pool bar service was excellent!

Expensive and overrated

The room was not clean at all. There was a sound that would come every 20 minutes or so. It sounded like a loud pump and will last for around 5 seconds. I do not think it was the AC. This went on all night, it was horrible. The staff was not friendly at all when I told them nor show a good attitude toward the guest, not just me… the couple prior felt the same at check-in time.
At checkout I had a lunch and drinks charged to my account and they gave me a hard time to remove it. They pulled records and showed that it was not my signature. If I didn’t check and review I would have got stuck with approx $150 meal and alcohol not mine.
The price of the hotel was very high, which I was good with that, but the worst is to pay for something “nice” significantly higher than close by hotels and end up with crap service. Plus a “RESORT FEE”

I am using this hotel every year for 4 days,
Maters are old not clean as last time very poor quality on customer service and restaurant are not even close to quality and price, not speaking my time any more at this hotel totally waste of money

Beautiful property!

Plenty of activities for the kids, overpriced food and drinks.
The beach is beautiful and safe for the kids with plenty of activities
4.4
everything is fine, only pool condition can be wrong , do i got infection in my ear and my daughter have pain in the ear too, look like water condition is not very safe
4.4
The staff here were fantastic! Everyone we encountered greeted us with a smile and a big Welcome then asking if there was anything we needed and if we were enjoying ourselves. Prices at property restaurants at first we thought were high but compared to other local places not bad. Drinks are $20 minimum so pricy but delicious (Jesse at Tiki Bar is fabulous!) property is clean and has many fantastic family items for all to enjoy. Overall fantastic experience and would definitely return!!! If you are a smoker though smoking only allowed on parking lot grounds and no seating provided but not a huge deal because plenty of shade provided by the trees.

We love this property ! It's so unique and so secluded. The outdoor areas are beautiful. The Amenities are great. The best part is how many kids activities they have!
We will be back.

The property is definitely worth the visit especially for young families.

A gem of a hotel, the bay is what makes this Hotel the best, the property is very relaxed in it's setting and the quality of the food is amazing, but the service was quite slow and the responsiveness of the staff was hit and miss.
4.4
Overpriced, receptionist unfriendly, other staff intrusive and always compel tips
Don’t be fooled by thinking the use of the equipment is included! Only one hour of using the stand up paddle is free.
4.4
Great place for families!
4.4
Nice activities but our AC blew the first night and we had to walk a cross the property with a sleeping 3 month old and a 7 year old. Wasn’t pleasant for as. Inch as we paid
4.4
The property looks real nice but we weren't really impressed much. They first put me and my wife (that has mobility issues) in a room that we would have to walk twice as far to because the elevator right outside the room did not work. We could not get rid of the humidity in the room, it felt nasty the whole time. The floors were super filthy and our bare feet got really dirty in no time (we had to wash our feet before bed and wore our sandals around the next day). The room had no insulation to sound, heard screaming kids outside all the time - though if you have kids, I'm sure it's a great place to bring them.
I guess they are some nice things. The restaurant food and drinks were really good (though expensive). The beach looked nice but we didn't have time to use it (that's not their fault). The bellhop service was super helpful. And the hotel did give us $100 credit when they moved us, but I'm think that was really just for the price difference on the room in the other wing to where they moved us.
