There were riots outside the hotel during our stay which is not a pleasant experience. Cost was way too high for parking plus additional charges or package that requires you to offset with their restaurant consumption.
5.0 / 10.0
Hotel only provides valet parking at $65 per day and requires a daily deposit of $150. Thought I had paid hotel in full prior to arrival, cost me an additional $600 plus once I checked in.

Never again, not even after their claim of undergoing refurbishment soon. I chose this hotel randomly, only because of balcony. Their pictures online sells you something else. The hotel & rooms are run down from the lobby, bar area (half is closed off as construction site), hallways, pool etc. The carpets in hallway & balcony (weird!) were musty, stank like someone’s unwashed dirty socks. When i opened the room, it smelled mouldy, mattress is old & springy/super soft. No fridge/minibar, bathrobes, tea/coffee machines etc. At least don’t claim to be five star property. Pool’s in a sorry & rundown state with fake grass & broken chairs everywhere.

We always enjoy the stay at the Mr C's now Cameo. Dining is good, the bar area is enjoyable. Great location. We like the smaller boutique hotel.

The hotel had many issues
The extra added charge was a surprise
The food at the restaurant was horrid
We were woken in AM by strikers
We had to ask at front for towels.
The internet is wonky at best and need to sign in multiple times per day
And they lost our car key at the valet on final day
The view was nice and location but never staying there again

Service is good.
Location is good.
What we didnt Like:
We stayed 7 days in the cameo Beverly Hills, 5 Out of These 7days we we're woken Up by loud Protest of some employes in Front of the Hotel. Punctually at 7 am Drums, slogans and vuvuzela startet waking up the Hotel.
Not the Peace and quiet we we're hoping for.
The walls are so thin, that we often thought somebodys gonna enter our room at night but IT was Just the neighbours room opening their door.

Lovely hotel with excellent staff. The only downside was the shower - was like standing under Niagara Falls

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Cameo Beverly Hills. The staff and valet were amazing. We will definitely stay here again when we visit California again.

Perfect for visiting Los Angeles. Located in Beverly Hills but the price for what you get was very good.

Nice pool area but no hot tub, cute retro vibe, gym had no AC and too hot to work out, room was clean but bare bones, comfy beds and nice sheets.would stay here again because of convenient location.

Protesters out for hours couldn’t sleep

the rooms need to be remodeled. Patio was missing balcony furniture. The techno music coming from the entry was loud and played until 11 PM and then there were union strikers chanting with a megapone around 7 AM.
I used to stay there for work often, but will need to find a new hotel.

The room was nice, kinda clean but not great. There was a smell of cigarettes though a non smoking room. The service teams did not always asnwer the phone quickly. For some reason the housekeeping staff removed our robes and then it took 4 calls to get e return call.

Beautiful property with great breakfast options

Loved my stay here just wish valet wasn’t as much per day. Everything else was beautiful.

- got charged a resort fee which is hidden at time of reservation. Blatant change of terms. Felt abused.
- very thinly staffed. For a luxury hotel didn’t have anyone to help with luggage.
- cleaning of room very mediocre.

It was very quiet and easy in and out to La. Close but outside. Chic and cozy! Spacious rooms with plenty of light. Love the balcony and city view. The rooms and hotel have character. Wonderful service and wait staff. Eddie was a delight and very hospitable. The valet and security and cleaning staff were very kind and helpful.

The hotel was beautiful, the pool was small, and they charged me $65 2 months after I left b/c they forgot to add a fee, that was very concerning

Lovely staff. Be ready to spend for valet though!

staff was great, but invest a bit in keeping the noise from other rooms out - we could hear everyting happening in the next door rooms, and when children was running around above us it was very loud.

Interior design Italian charm , understaffed , needs update could be very nice boutique hotel

The property was cool. It has a nice minimalistic approach to Hollywood chic. It was inconspicuously safe and central to the everything to do in Los Angeles. We loved it!

The overall property feels very modern and updated but they really need to change the carpeting in the halls. It definitely makes the overall look feel dated.

Convenient location in Beverly Hills, only a 10 minute walk down the road to Rodeo Drive. Rooms were very spacious and the pool area was lovely with bar service which was an added bonus.

Outstanding hotel with friendly and helpful staff! Excellent view from our balcony! Loved it!

The hotel itself is quaint. Very high-end feel when you walk in. The staff was friendly enough. The waitstaff in the restaurant was stellar. Nice pool area. Had a very backyard feel to it. It was very clean. The gym was adequate. They definitely try with it. They even offer complimentary water bottles in the mini refrigerator. The gym had a very “working out in someone’s basement” feel to it as you WERE working out in the basement.
The negatives were: They make you pay a resort fee which you are forced to use there at the restaurant or you lose the money. They also charge a $150 PER NIGHT deposit which I have NEVER heard of! Hotels that charge deposits usually charge a one time flat fee. Right off the bat, they put a SEVERAL HUNDRED dollar hold on my card I hadn’t planned on which made my trip a little more frugal than I would have liked. Also, the rooms are very nice but they have leather furniture in them that was starting to look a little shabby in my opinion.
Overall it was a decent hotel for a couple of night’s stay.

I loved everything about this hotel

This property is beautiful, the rooms were clean. Issues were that there is no sign, so Ubers had trouble finding the hotel. Another room on my floor had a massive water leak so the carpet was squishy for two days, and the valet when I arrived was unprofessional and seemed very confused about what he was doing. The staff were very friendly and housekeeping was lovely. Great views.

Staff is not friendly and accommodating, hotel has a bad vibe, not what it used to be like when Mr. C was there.

I liked the location of the property and the staff. The rooms need some new furniture and updates.

We really enjoyed our stay. The pool was not open when were there as it was too cold for LA. So I can't say how that area was. Hotel location was convenient easy walk to Rodeo and Lyft was quick to take us to farther site seeing activities. As for the hotel, we loved it. Our room faced Beverly Hills and you could see the Hollywood sign in the distance. The area is not high traffic so it was quiet and had beautiful views.
The restaurant had great breakfast options but the lunch / dining was limited. I had pasta one night and the noodles were a bit under cooked and the sauce was very bland. My husband had the oysters and loved them. It would have been great if they had a separate room service or snack type menu, even a separate bar menu. So we ate elsewhere for all the other nights. one draw back was with the lobby/ lounge toilets one smelled horribly of urine the entire stay, I can't understand why this was not addressed with a professional cleaner. All in all we loved our stay at the Cameo, staff was fantastic and location is perfect for a relaxing getaway. We will definitely be back.

We stayed here for part of our honeymoon- we had a balcony on city side and views did not disappoint. It’s worth noting there is no fridge/microwave in the suite. Overall, our stay was wonderful. Location was about 15/20 minute walk to stores and restaurants. We felt super safe in the area. The local restaurants close at 10 so if you are looking for a night life, you will have to taxi some where further. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean. Well worth the price we paid.
