Service at restaurant was poor.
Choice of dining limited.
There were days where the room wasn't cleaned by housekeeping
4.3
First room wasn’t clean, second room had someone else’s luggage in it and third room the air conditioner was noisy but dealt with it. Worst experience at a Marriott ever. Wasn’t even asked upon checkout how the stay was to voice our concerns.

Clean friendly amazing hotel
4.3
Room was nice size, great view, but balcony area was filthy and hallway smelled like urine. Water pressure and air conditioning were extremely poor. Overall, worst Marriott I have ever booked. Definitely will not return.
4.3
Enjoyed the amenities.

Hotel was lovely very comfortable and the pool area was beautiful. Got great sleep and the room was nice. Only complaints were that the ice machine on our floor was broken and seems like it had been for awhile - fix that! And there were never guest towels at the outside pool area - also a pain. If you are going to charge a resort fee then make sure there are towels by the pool! But the pool was absolutely gorgeous and we really enjoyed it. The pool engineer was outside checking on the pool and was super sweet and brought us towels from the indoor pool.

Mattresses weren’t good. Furnace kept making a weird noise. Drain clogged but attendant came to fix it quickly.
Otherwise the hotel was great and the pool was great. Service was great.
4.3
Classy establishment with an easy atmosphere.

Friendly staff, Starbucks in lobby

Thank you

Great hotel, nice gym and pool. My problem was that there were no microwaves available to the rooms. Also there were some issues with our key cards not working. The front desk rekeyed them, but it was annoying
4.3
Property seems pretty fancy & bougie via Hotels.com profile & description, however I wouldn't pay the amount we did, to stay there again. The restaurant did not impress us at all. The bourbon "vending" is way too expensive.
4.3
I’m not sure why my review was originally rejected because I didn’t say anything negative (except that the place was a little bit noisy) or use any profanity or mention any prices. So I guess I’ll just say everything was wonderful.

The staff at the this marriott was without a doubt the best in the industry!
4.3
Nice hotel in general. Nice pool area. Room was hot
4.3
Our only issue was the hotel was warm. Our room was very warm so we went a bought a fan to use. It seems the air conditioning needs an overhaul. The bartenders even had 3 fans blowing on them at the inside bar. Over all loved our stay, wild stay again but bring a fan!

For a 3 star hotel, this place could have been cleaner. Not a big deal, but the things they offer as a resort stay were not always available (Smores by the fire) We also were very upset that we went to the pool area 3 separate times and all 3 times, there were no towels, at one point we asked at the front desk for them and the attendant was almost rude in saying it was not his job to get towels and that he had already contacted housekeeping. We waited another hour by the pool and still no towels!!! It may seem like these are little inconveniences but when you have paid $600 hard earned money for your trip, you sort of want things to be as expected.
4.3
Inside hotel seems run down, slightly dirty overall. Room was small, sconce was broken and AC was poor. When informed front desk they didn’t seem to care. Not horrible, not worth the resort fee over another hotel.
4.3
I rarely complain about any hotel, I believe that hotels are just for sleeping, but this hotel made me have one of the worst experiences in my entire life!! I paid for the room with a view of the resort, and they put me in a room without a view and with the smell of cigarettes, after I complained they changed me, they changed me to one without a view and the shower didn't heat up properly, they didn't give me any instructions about the hotel, and they charged me a different price for the water I bought, they were super stupid, avoid wasting your time and money, there are better and cheaper options, worst experience of my life
4.3
It was overall great the only complaint I would have is the rooms stay warm and I’m 8 months pregnant so I was definitely hot but we went and bought a box fan so it helped everything else was great

The front desk staff was wonderful, but upon entering our room, we immediately noticed a bug on the sheets as we set our items down. A quick google confirmed it was a bedbug. We immediately went back to the desk, who were very professional, apologetic, and gave us a new room. But had to dispose of a blanket that had touched the bed, for fear of bringing it home. The new room was very pretty. But the TV went in and out, the A/C didnt work, and the bathroom door didnt latch. Upon checking out the next morning, i tried to speak to a manager. None were in that early. So, i tried calling one later. No call back. Several calls and days, and still nobody has contacted me. Horrible experience. Its a stunning hotel. Beautiful grounds. But the room experience was awful. Avoid this place.

amazing

We arrived in hopes of pool time and meal. The pool was packed, the place was under staffed and the food was okay.
4.3
The room with a view faced a noise highway. The air just barely worked and the only way to keep cool was to sleep without a blanket. Also the wifi was terrible. The tub bottom need cleanec and the room needed dusting. Pools were poorly sanitized and smelled.
4.3
We had a great stay! We live just an hour south of Lexington and wanted to get away for a night. The girls at the front desk were so friendly and accommodating. The server at the restaurant was great. The atmosphere and the bartender at the pool were amazing. We’ll definitely be back in the future!

The place was great. The beach was not useable- it was a bird sanctuary. Lots of restricted areas.
