The room itself needs to be remodeled or at least conceal the patched areas better, fix the mold in the bathroom and have clean bedding.

Check in was quick and easy. Room was dirty and dated. Black mold in the corner by the window. Beds were extremely uncomfortable. We asked for extra towels (2) since there were 4 of us (2 adults - 2 kids) and they had none. Lights did not work in our room, neither did the fridge. Only perk was breakfast Pool NOT worth it, also felt dirty.

I read the reviews before I made my reservation, I've stayed here several times before and enjoyed it, but was disappointed when I read the bad ones because I've never encountered a bad stay. The motel was built in 1975 so you can't expect new conditions, but in it's day this was the top of the line place to stay and I feel it still is a very nice motel for the price. The hot tub is probably the hottest one I've been in which I like, the breakfast is better than most continental ones, and our room was comfortable and clean. I don't expect pristine conditions so yes, there is some mold under the caulking in the tub, but that doesn't even touch you so it's all cosmetic. I will gladly stay here again as it's a good location and has a great pet policy

The front desk clerk was practically worthless. He didn’t really explain where on the property the room was located and didn’t mention when or where the included breakfast was located. In speaking with another client he admitted some room phones worked while many did not. While he suggested one of the particular exterior keycard readers was more reliable, it appeared to me this was because the door was blocked open such that no keycard was necessary since it stayed open. The magnetic keycards for my room didn’t work the first time and I had to come back and get them recoded. Even then only one worked one the room door and sporadically at that. None of the keycard readers in the exterior doors worked at all. Some doors on the inner courtyard were locked with deadbolts and this is quite possibly a fire code violation. The room was clean and modernized and comfortable. The breakfast was standard with diy waffles, scrambled eggs and link sausage along with a few dry cereals and quick oatmeals. There was coffee, juice and a few muffins and breads for toasting. The breakfast area was well kept and clean. Overall an average place with an evening clerk who needs a different job.

The shower had hair all over it like it was not cleaned. The coffee pot was not cleaned. Unable to have breakfast because all the tables were being used and you are not aloud to take it back to your room.

The pictures shown do not match. This place is old and outdated. The beds are extremely old and used and ridiculously uncomfortable. They are doing the best they can cleaning what is here, but wow. We had to pay $168 for our night stay. If I had paid $68 I wouldn't be so upset. I will not stay here again.

Stay away, the mgr. will have you looking up and down hallways if you need something from housekeeping because when she runs out at the front dest she will do nothing to assist the guests.

Absolutely nothing was as advertised. When we checked in there was glass shards on the bed, there was stains on the sheets, the floor was gross and there were mysterious stains on the wall that were gross. There was mold in the bathroom, and just overall very gross

We booked through Expedia. When we arrived, we were sent to door five at which there were a number of people hanging out doing drugs at the door. I went back to the front desk and said we can’t stay here and the young man was unable to refund us so not impressed.

Upon arriving the room was unclean with dirty plates and food stuffed underneath the beds. The blankets were very stained and so were the drawers. Will never book a room at this hotel again. Would not recommend to anyone ever

Not having an elevator made it pretty hard to get things up the stairs. And two of the doors readers on the exit closest to our doors wouldnt work so we had to walk a good distancs to get to and from our room to a door that did work.

We didn't end up staying here. The room we were given was on the 2nd floor and my mom couldn't get up the stairs and there was no elevator. Had to drive 1.5 hours to her house.

The entrance to the hotel was a little dirty, nothing I wouldn’t expect later in the afternoon when staff are busy. Our room overall was not very clean, lots of stains on the linen on the bed, loose hairs from other people on the blanket, cob webs in corers like they hadn’t been cleaned for months, there was a gummy bear stuck to an end table, and later in the night I noticed a bug on the wall that jumped onto the ground and we found it under the bed with a fly swatter and inspected it and it was a cockroach. Which was pretty disgusting so we went and switched rooms, to the second floor the room was a bit cleaner but we still were not very comfortable at the property knowing there might be a cockroach infestation.

Room was dirty, smelly, old & tired. I took photos of the dirty chair upholstery and the moldy disgusting shower that we wouldn’t even use. It smelled like an old beverage room with years of smoking that still existed in the floors, walls, furniture & curtains, despite being a nonsmoking space. This room has not been properly cleaned for ages. I would suggest the building has not been upgraded or renovated since the early 70’s. I have been travelling for weeks and have used Expedia for most of my stays. I have been more often staying in Wyndham/Ramada’s as I am a member. I recommend Expedia remove this property from their list of options. Were it not for the long drive yesterday and the after midnight checkin, I would have taken a loss on my prepaid room and gone elsewhere. (Much less than a 2 star rating)

Service: Front desk at check in was not very friendly but they did change our rooms to the first floor since they didn’t have an elevator. Thankful for that. Room: outdated and dirty. The dust ruffle had mystery stuff on it. The carpet was squishy. There was a missing picture on the wall which showed different wallpaper underneath. Breakfast: had a lot of seating options. The food was ok. The table was sticky. There was only one waffle maker so there was often a line.

All in all, a decent stay. The pool is super deep and was a solid win until my kid cut his foot on the climbing wall. No band-aids in the first aid kit and not a lot of interest in helping us find one. The carpets could have used a vacuum but the room was clean enough and had what we needed to be comfortable for a two night stay. You get what you pay for with this one but I’d book it again. Definitely suggest that they add some protection to the corners of the climbing wall and restock their first aid kit though.
