Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. During my stay, there was a large group of about 15 adults congregating in the lobby, where they were drinking and being extremely loud and disruptive throughout the night. This chaotic atmosphere was compounded by the noise of children running up and down the hallways, slamming doors, and screaming, making it nearly impossible to relax or get a good night's sleep. I attempted to reach out to the front desk multiple times, but no one answered the phone. I even made several trips to the front desk, only to find it unattended. As the noise escalated and my frustration mounted, I decided to confront the group myself around 2:30 am, asking them to be considerate of other guests. At that point, the lobby was littered with beer cans, clearly indicating that they had been drinking there all night. Despite my efforts to address the situation, I could not find a manager or staff member to assist. It wasn't until around 3:00 am, once the noise finally subsided, that I was able to reach a manager on the phone. However, by that time, it felt too little, too late. I left the hotel without any reimbursement or even an apology, and I was left feeling completely disregarded as a guest. Overall, my experience at [Hotel Name] was extremely disappointing due to the lack of management and the inability to handle disruptive behavior. I would not recommend this hotel , and I certainly will not be returning.

Nice staff, good breckfast Convient to access highway. Howvever this Location, wad a bit noisy when sitting outside When i came home from work Saturday evening about 7 noticed a dirty sock in hall Was still there in the morning. Also teenagers hanging out in the end of the hall Saturday night was loud

Our stay was made better by the amazing breakfast this morning! Though there's nothing that can be done about the non existent elevator in the building, something can be do r about the temperature of the pool. Especially for smaller children who enjoy swimming. Having a little heat won't hurt anything! I do have to say that the first thing I noticed though was how clean the room was and how fresh smelling everything was. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. Just warm up that pool, and nobody will even care about the elevator. Lol

When we arrived, we noticed that the hotel had a smell to it (a mixture of smoke, BO, and chemicals) and when we arrived at our room and checked the bed sheets and mattress, we found pages from adult magazines strewn about (which also we not clean and had stuff on them), no mattress cover and stains on the mattress. The second room we were put in also had stains on the mattress and did not feel clean. We left promptly and stayed at a much better hotel nearby. Definitely would not recommend.

Side door unlocked at all times. A few homeless wondering the premises. Fire alarms went off at 6:30am and 6:45 am for a long time. Fire fighters came both times. Nothing said/acknowledged at check out about interrupting sleep.

Very outdated property - doesn’t look anything like the photos online. You can tell the floors are rotting under the carpets in the hallways, the hallways smell like smoke, chemicals, and B.O. I was shocked that they require a $500 deposit, while somewhere wayyyy nicer would only require $200 tops. Rooms themselves were relatively clean, but lots of chipped paint, stains, and broken fixtures. I would recommend looking at other properties unless this is your only option.

It appears there uave been some recent renovations but they are rather sloppily done and generally the upkeep on yhe property doesnt seem to be what it should. There was some black mold (?) on our room window. The staff were all very kind and helpful though, so that was the bright spot.

They had no elevator which was very inconvenient for one of our guests. A hotel needs to be accessible for people with disabilities. Air conditioner didn’t work at first. Had to call to get it fixed. And the breakfast was horrible. Eggs had something green in them. We’ll never go back again. Coffee was disgusting.

Greeted by young girl was very pleasant. Hotel had smell from trying to cover up something. Room looked good at first however bathroom had some nasty stains paint peeling and plumbing needs to be replaced. We have been discovering the care of days inn by Wyndham has been changing in many of the locations. My guess is the new owners do not have the same standards.

The hallway smelled like pot coming down the hall, the carpet in the room was damp and smelled of cigarette smoke. There is no sound proofing at all. When people walk down the hall it sounds like the door is open as they walk past. The room is dated and the bed is old. Not impressed with it for the amount of money the room cost. Will not stay here again.

This hotel was super convenient to Hwy 400 and made a great stopping place for a night on our way through the region. The room was spacious, and renovations were done with taste. It was great being able to access our room from the parking lot, although it would have been nice to have steps or something at either end of the sidewalks and not just in the corner. Staff was very helpful and kind when one of our children had heat exhaustion and we needed some additional items for clean up. Would definitely stay here again if stopping in Barrie as a couple or family.

Police patrolling parking lot several times (day & night), homeless population in the back trail area, 5 racoons living in the dumpster out back, appeared to be a more pay by the hour hotel then family friendly, mattress was bent in half (v in the middle) and exceptionally unclean and terrible smells in hallways & pool area. The list goes on, won’t be back.

The room we were put in initially had the air conditioner in pieces on the floor, so we have do be moved. Our new room was fine, dated and in need of a paint job, but otherwise the room was clean. The hot tub was warm, but the timer for the jets didn't work, the pool was fine. Didn't see any hookers or homeless people lurking about as others have mentioned...Maybe we didn't look hard enough...

Woke up to the police walking the back parking lot. As per the manager it was no big deal apparently there was a stolen car dropped there. There were men picking the garbage and picking up and smoking used cigarette butts off the ground. Weird cars meeting in the back lot. All this made my kids very scared. Pool doesn’t open until 10am. Very sketchy neighbourhood and the rooms were quite small. Wanted to check out a day early as we did not feel safe. Manager would not budge on another nights charge BECAUSE we used hotels.com. He was very condescending and quite rude. All the issues did not phase him at all. Seems like a normal occurrence in that area.

My friend and I loved the hotel, only thing we did not like too much was the amount of strange and unusual people roaming around and following us around (we are both younger women). We felt a little unsafe with the location but overall we enjoyed how clean the room was minus a hole in our curtains and a couple of stains on the wall. I recommend this hotel if you just need a one night stay hotel. The staff were very lovely and helpful :)
