I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Guest House, and it was truly an excellent experience! This charming hotel is beautifully decorated, showcasing its antique house vibes that make you feel right at home. The ambiance is captivating and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The only downside was that accessing the rooms required climbing quite a few stairs—definitely a workout! But trust me, it's worth it. The breakfast was delicious and the atmosphere of the restaurant was delightful. We had a wonderful time!

The atmosphere was very quaint as expected for the style of the Guest House. The room was very nice. Smelled fresh and AC worked well. Bed was very comfortable. But the carpets were quite tired. The floors on the balcony were very tired. Two lovely rocking chairs on the balcony could have used a small table. The door lock on the balcony door was not working opening the balcony to the parking lot. The hotel staff left the property at 6pm which was uncomfortable for us. We could not work the rocku tv we found out after the front desk staff left. A printed explanation in the room would have been helpful. As we were leaving in the am before the diningroom opened we encountered the cook. We asked for something to take with us. He packed us bagels and fruit. So very kind of him. Overall it was a pleasant stay but some shortcomings.

Spent two nights here while in town for the balloon festival. Easy walk to festival. Safe area. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff was great. Breakfast could be a little better but overall it was a good stay and I’d stay here again!

Terrible experience at this guset house. When we arrived tyou couldn not flush and the girl at the front desk promised us to fix that. We took a walk at the town and went back, still not fixed but she promised us the plumber was on his way. After a couple of hours we come back again and were promised it was fixed. Guess what, it was not and there was no plumber!! She lied to us!! When we wanted to change room there was none, even though there were two avalible on the website! When we wanted to leave and hove our money back she all of a sudden had a room! It was so much small but we were so tired after a terrible day that we had to take that. We did not get an excuse or complimentary, I asked the manager to contact me but she did not!! We would like some refound because of not having a functional room until 9 pm and a much smaller room with one queenbed instead of two. We paid for a large room with two quennbed and shoul have a refound for the price difference. I would never recommend this guest house to anyone, bad service and very old bathrooms and also many steps to reach the rooms!
