the front desk lady was nice but the service was slow and unfamiliar. Took an hour to get clean towels. was not told that i needed to request for my room to be cleaned. And my room was not clean prior to me checking in. Tub was full of candy wrappers.
2.0
Room carpeting dirty. Breakfast buffet overpriced no juice no grits - unable to choose from menu buffet only. No help with baggage. Not up to Hilton standard.
6.0
Needs to be updated. Room was very dark because of dark paint with little light carpet needed replacing in several areas. Front desk staff was very friendly.

I enjoyed my stay people were nice and attentive. Just did not like pulling in to vallet park only to have people thcame before and after us get their cars parked and we had to ask for service. The those employees out side were complaining to us about people calling out and the weather being so hot...I m on vacation and want to enjoy my self. Not to here about strangers problem. As the take for forever to do their dam job. I will park in a public lot then have to deal with them again

The door to the bathroom in our room didn’t close properly. Waited two hours to check in because computer systems were down. The lobby was humid and stuffy. Something nasty on the office chair in the room we stayed in. Mascara marks on sheets.

It was great near Beale Street but Hiltons are a bit pricey for my taste.

Great location.

My stay was nice. During my stay I found out that the Double Tree Hotel is Located in the perfect area!!!! to the night life and restaurant. Not to mention just a few block to Maine street (to hop the Trolley) to go to the oldest Diner & MLK MUSEUM!!!! 🙌

We had a good time at this hotel. 5 minutes walking distance from Beale Street and 10 minutes walking distance from riverfront. Highly recommended.

Location was great. Close to Beale St. But the after hours, cars doing donuts and racing up and down the street, the excessive noise from inconsiderate idiots right outside on the street. No cops ever showed up. Staff was amazing. Room was great, but street racing was way to loud into 3-4am.

did not like valet parking only charge of $32 and $50 incidentals at check in otherwise all good

Nice old Hotel that needs attention. The HV/AC needs attention. Our room was in the 80’s all night. Cooled down for a little while but 87 when we left. Staff needs attention. Some basic instruction on how to greet and interact with people in a bright and cheerful manner.

Beale street was walking distance from the hotel. Great area. The bathtub in our room was rusted. The AC worked really well.

This hotel has a great location, close to everything. Valet parking is good, but it does take about 10-15 to get your car. The customer service was fantastic, 10 out of 10. We enjoyed it.

This is a nice hotel. I thoroughly enjoyed the staff, the room, the restaurant and lounge. It's only a 5 minute from Beale Street. I will be staying there again.

One of the loudest rooms I have ever stayed in. Traffic noise was awful all night and people hollering in the hallways…..won’t stay here again. The service was good and people were friendly but if you can’t sleep that doesn’t matter!
3.0
The hotel was a little dated and they clearly didn’t clean the floor.

Loveed it! Would stay again!

This is a great hotel if you're going to be in downtown Memphis.

It’s a nice hotel that’s close to Beale. It could use an update, the staff was nice and the hotel was clean.

Amazing! So glad I spent a little extra for the corner room!

This hotel is a classic 7.2/10. Mostly good, and I would stay here again. It’s a great affordable alternative to the neighboring Peabody. The highlight was the staff- everyone from the valet to the concierge to the serve staff in the attached restaurant brought their A game.
Low points- the walls are thin, the bathroom was kind of dirty, the shower didn’t drain well. But all in all, none of those things was a dealbreaker.

Restaurant was good and staff there were great but can’t say the same for the hotel staff. Room entry Door lock battery was apparently dead and their solution was for us to have to goto front desk everytime we wanted to get into that room. Adjoining rooms door was broke and the TV’s in both rooms did not work.

We only stayed one night but we had to take cold showers and there is only one mirror and that’s in the bathroom! There was a fire that night and we had to evacuate the building. We were allowed to reinter the building after about 20 minutes. The staff was very nice tho!

No hot water! Staff only wanted tips! Valet staff was excellent! Would book elsewhere next time.

Great stay! No complaints.

Towels, rags and bathrooms were pretty nasty
10.0
Being so close to Beale St, short walk was perfect
Not too close to be concerned of noise - just a few cars late dragging but that’s going to happen anywhere
Right across from the Peabody too so great for the kids to see the ducks
Awesome bar attached with great staff
10.0
Walkable to everything a tourist would want day or night. Never felt unsafe never had an uncomfortable interaction. Lobby and restaurant both comfortable and clean staff OUTSTANDING. Idiots on the street gunning cars in the late night hour early morning hours, but that would be an irritant to every sleeping person across the street at the Peabody or Holiday Inn too I just couldn’t select quiet as a like option or the area around the property as a 5 star. Perfectly quiet within the four walls of the lobby and public areas.

Love the location, walking distance to Beale St., Great staff and service, property could use some renovations and more room amenities.

Friendly check in. But glass all over the bathroom floor, dirt on the pillows

Very nice

The valet parking was very cheap compared to other cities. Also the bar and breakfast facility was great and not to pricy.
The room had a convenient size and seemed to be renewed.
The only issue, it came a lot of noise through the thin windows.
10.0
Outstanding place to stay, staff is remarkable.
Only issue is trying to get your car to the front door. Valet had it all blocked.
8.0
Air conditioning unit in 522 made constant noise "dripping and rattling sound". Notified front staff they appeared un interested in reference to complaint. Unable to relocate rooms due to overbooked. Sleepless night.
