Our room was not very clean. There was a shred of bubble wrap on the floor and the bathroom had about 8 strands of hair on the ground.

Absolutely terrible! The hotel is under construction and we stayed room with a hallway full of debris and our room was full of drywall dust. The door had so much drywall caked on it that we could barely open it. Our first room had blood on the sheets and the our second room had a dirty bathroom and there was hair on the pillow case and sheets. Very disappointing and definitely not worth the money we paid.

I’ve stayed at the Ramona on trips through South Dakota for 22 years because I travel with my dog. Since my las stay they’ve moved the rooms for people with dogs to the very furthest point away from the grassy area to walk them.
I arrived late but in the wee hours of the morning following an 11 hour drive and had to argue with management to be allowed to check-in befor 3pm, even though I was already being charged.
The room was in horrible condition, filthy and torn carpet, broken outdoor doorway seal that fell and flapped every time I opened and closed the door.
Hopefully I will never stay there again.

It is an older property that's still in great shape. Our room has a hall entrance and also a lobby entrance. We didn't have time to use it, but the e exercise room was decent. It had weights, in addition to some equipment. It had a full service restaurant. Also you could go to the lobby and get coffee whenever you want.

Very comfortable and quiet for our stay.

I realize it is under construction. However it smelled awful and the rooms were dirty, very dated and online pics make it look much nicer

I stayed here, along with many of my classmates, for the bar examination. My first room smelled damp and musty and there were a plethora of bugs, namely fleas and an ant infestation. There were no rooms available the first night to be moved, so I dealt with the bugs and have flea bites all over my legs.
The following morning, at least 15 of my classmates also complained of bugs and bug bites from their beds. One classmate was moved as there was blood on his floor, duvet cover and walls. Another, moved rooms and was issued a complete refund for the unmentionable condition of his room.
I managed to get moved to a new room for my last night, and it was better, but i will not stretch the truth and say the room was even close to decent. Do not stay here.

The property is a little run down and could use some work. Restaurant was closed.

There was road construction right in front of the ram Kota, but that is out of their control. It just was a little inconvenient to get in and out, but the parking lot was spacious. The rooms were nice. The staff was courteous.

The WiFi in the room barely worked, there were people hollering and yelling in the pool area until 3am.

No information about tv or surrounding area attractions. Felt unsafe with room opening to dining area.
Bed was very comfortable.

Incredible experience at the Ramoka! They deserve 5 stars for exceeding expectations in all areas. Notably, Tim, with superb customer service skills, made our stay exactly what we needed: a quiet night’s sleep after two long days of moving. This has been my best hotel experience ever and I have traveled a lot. The room was spotless,, pillows, sheets, bed, towels luxe. Thank you!

Too many fishing boats hogging the parking lot

The employees we encountered were great. The hotel needs a serious up grade, very outdated, wall paper pealing, furniture damaged, carpet old, no elevator..

Front desk area strongly stunk like cigarettes.
The hotel didn't provide breakfast as part of the stay.
Front desk individual was rude, unfriendly & refused to give me my final bill.

I reserved a ground floor room. I was moved to a 2nd floor room. There was no elevator. I had to carry my luggage and oxygen concentrator up the stairs. The outside area was well kept. The beds are comfortable and the room seemed clean. The area that our room was located was very quiet. The grounds were well kept. It had recently rained and there was a puddle of water at the bottom of the stairs.
I will stay again, but someone needs to assist me I with my luggage if I get moved to a floor with no elevator.

Room was clean and the front desk staff were helpful. Tiffany in the restaurant was great. Pool was nice and the hot tub wasn’t boiling which was great! The hotel is showing its age and I didn’t really like going 4 nights with no housekeeping.
