Room was far nicer than I expected. Hotel was in a convenient spot. Nice view of the sea on my mini-balcony!

Beautiful hotel but very loud doors made sleeping difficult

Very enjoyable stay. Hotel and staff were excellent. Location is good however a car is helpful to go into Cascais but only a short taxi ride.
Our room was clean, spacious and had a very large balcony. Pool area is great too with bar staff. Highly recommended for a family or couple get away.

I have been traveling around in many countries for some years, and this is the most expensive hotell I have stayed in, and the most overpriced. We stayed at the hotel for a wedding.
The morning after our arrival, we asked if it was necessary to store our belongings in the safte in our romme, or if it was OK to just keep it in the room. The management answered that we could not trust the staff!
To get access to the safe we had to rent it for € 3,5 pr day.
Each room is equipped with a Nespresso machine and two capsules. If you want more during your stay, it cost you € 1 pr capsule.
The evening before the wedding, the water stopped working. What came out of the tap was brown water, and after a minute nothing came out. I informed the reception, and they sounded surprised. But it worked out that it was for the hotel as whole. No info was given. No offer of water for drinking or brushing teeth. The water came back at 3 am next morning in our room.

Authentic hotel, friendly staff, good food, ideal for taking trips to for instance Cascais, Sintra and Lisbon, but also a great spot for relaxing at the pool.

Excellent location in Estoril. Short walk to beach and 1/2 block from grocery market. Lots of great restaurants close by. Very clean and comfortable. They charge for local phone usage.
2.5
Lovely quirky place, clean and comfortable. The staff is great!

Beautiful hotel, very clean and excellent location- 40 min walk to Cascais along the boardwalk or else a short train journey. Train is a 5 min walk from hotel too. Pool area was fabulous and room Very comfortable, although we stayed during a very hot spell (30 degrees in Estoril) and the Air conditioning was not very strong even at its coolest setting. We only stayed a night but may have been a problem had we been staying longer

Lovely hotel in Estoril, on the outskirts of Lisbon, close to the Casino.

The hotel has a good location but it is a bit old. The shower is not the best however service was great

Hotel was clean. A refill of coffee and tea in the rooms would be nice, it was 2€ after the free issue tea and coffee were used.

A lovely boutique hotel which was very quirky. Art Deco furnishings with mannequins strategically placed. The pool deck and sky bar was really nice, good food and great drinks and not as expensive as I thought. Staff were polite and friendly. We had a lovely stay

Comfortable bed, robe. Cool artsy ambiance. Friendly staff. Nice quiet area at night.

Beautiful hotel.

The noise within the main building is awful as there is no sound proofing between rooms. Constantly hear people and furniture moving about.

I stayed for three nights and the bedroom WASN’T CLEAN AT ALL FOR MY SECOND NIGHT. I arrived after midnight, and it was a twin room, otherwise I would ask to change bedroom. It wasn’t nice, and I don’t go to stay there for Easter.

Had a great stay here. Room was enormous. Recently I've found checking in and out has become painful. But the Guy that checked me was great. New his job and was helpful with getting company name and address on invoice. Enjoyed my stay here.

Nice hotel but old

It is a small boutique hotel with everything fun, elegant and interesting! Very quiet in off season, my room was floor to ceiling glass that opened to a wonderful deck the street activities below but not loud. I wish I could stay here longer, much longer!!

The style and ambience is like old Hollywood. We loved it. The staff were exceptional, friendly and very helpful in arranging tours. We will be back!

We were 3 adults and booked a room with 3 beds. When we got there, there were only 2. They found another one which wasn’t even a roll-away but more of a stretcher.

Rooms have been restored nicely. The buffet was excellent. The setting of the pool is great.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Inglaterra. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The minor was the coffee machine in the room, but the coffee cups/pads is not free, quiet unfriendly in our opinion.

Hotel was nice and staff was friendly. Warning that hotel has VERY limited parking - maybe three spaces. We were upgraded to a suite but it was on the first floor near the lobby and elevators. It was pretty noisy all through the night. Only stayed one night but would have asked by be moved if we stayed longer. Overall a nice hotel.

I think the location is great.
Would only mention that parking isn’t guaranteed (there are a limited amount of spots which may or may not be taken - no designated lot).
Also just worth a mention - if someone is loud in the evening you will likely hear them through the walls and if you have any issues with breathing this may not be the best fit. While there is no smoking allowed the hotel is older so when the air comes through the vent (at least in our room) I could smell cigarettes — just worth mentioning but otherwise lovely and charming :)

The mattress was the most comfortable in this hotel compare to seven others hotels we stayed in a three week period.

A hotel with a unique character. Attentive and helpful staff make you feel very welcome. This is our 5th stay and we will be going back.

Fabulous from check in to check out
The rooms are big with everything you need had lunch and dinner in the hotel a few times fantastic.
Breakfast could be better though

Nice and characterful hotel, slightly idiosyncratic. Very clean but decor beginning to feel a little tired, at least in my room and the communal parts of the hotel, but not an issue. Excellent staff, extremely helpful and most speaking very good english. Well organised, friendly and efficient. My only disappointment was that the breakfast was not the best quality, though perfectly adequate.

We were happy with the size and location of the superior room we stayed in. The balcony was very nice too but needed to be swept of debris. We stayed five nights and it wasn’t cleaned at all. The mattresses were old and uncomfortable. There were no toppers or protective covers on the mattresses. The pillows were well used and lumpy. Breakfast was ok but limited choice for a 4* hotel.
3.0
The bathrooms in this hotel are small and in dire need an upgrade, even for Europe (plus smell like a septic tank). In addition, it is very strange that this hotel charges 3.50 euros per day for use of the in-room safe. On a positive note, the breakfast buffet was EXCELLENT with many delicious options.
2.0
Very charming hotel that takes you back a century. The rooms are huge with very high ceiling.
That being said, it is an old hotel. Some things could use an upgrade, especially the bathroom. Front desk staff was ok, it very friendly, but the kitchen staff that attended the breakfast was amazing. The breakfast itself was top notch with absolutely all imaginable options.
4.0
Rooms are very small. They charge for a safe which is too small for a computer
That being said it’s a lovely boutique type hotel and staff is outstandingly friendly.

Rooms & pool area were great. Staff was excellent. Upgrades needed in common areas- otherwise great stay & great location- we will return

Great staff and very helpful and attentive
