Comfortable area not the greatest due to a shelter a few block down,in reality we never felt unsafe but excellent location 10 minutes walks to international train station , 15 minutes walk to the center of brussels.
Great vibe and good buffet breakfast

Hotel with a nice style and decor. Welcoming staff.
The room I stayed (201) was spacious and beautifully decorated. Amendments are nice.
There are free coffee capsules in the room, which is a plus.
The bathroom was also clean and spacious. However there was a lot of waterworks (reservoir?) noise from the adjacent building/room. That DEFINITELY needs a fix.
The wi-fi was also very weak in the room, had to move around inside the room to stream.
All in all, I would definitely recommend this hotel, yet would stay at another room.

Great place great decor great location great price

Rather shady neighborhood near the central station. At check-in we were warned that cars are frequently broken into, but the nearest parking garage is 800m away.
We had reserved a room with two double beds because we did not want a sleep sofa, but we got a room with a single double bed and a sleep sofa. We asked at the front desk but there was nothing they could do.

Stayed 1 night, didn't have breakfast. Great family room.
Square outside hotel room (ground floor with opaque window) frequented by people drinking cans of beer and noise of drunks talking right outside window of our room went on for half an hour from around 11.30pm

Really nice hotel. Walkable distance to city center and restaurants

Beautiful room and the buffet breakfast was decent. Good sized bathroom with a nice shower.

Really nice hotel. Room was well-equipped and spotlessly clean, very quiet and comfortable. Reception staff were friendly and efficent and breakfast was perfect - nice selection of hot and cold foods which were ideal to start the day. Location was good and only 10 minutes to the main station and close to the city centre.

This is a beautiful hotel strange Location. The location is A little industrial and a little looking poor. Is a shame because the hotel is absolutely beautiful.

This is a lovely hotel. Somebody spent a great deal of time and money building it. The rooms are nice. The Breakfast buffet is good. The decor is nice.
Unfortunately, this part of Brussels is going through major construction and changes. The Surrounding area is really not that nice and for some maybe dangerous dangerous or feels unsafe. It is a little bit of a walk to get to some of the venues that the city has. We spent three days there, and we liked it despite the above.

Room was clean and cool

What the hell. This place is a rose is the middle of a s)&: storm. The place is fantastic, extremely well done, but what lies outside it truly terrible. Trash outside, homeless by the door, a man urinating on the building and a techno rave from our check in until 11pm. Convenient to the train, but wife was not comfortable outside at all.
4.4
Really enjoyed how close it was to everything and to the train station. Very good value.

Felt unsafe in the surrounding neighborhood.

Overall not a bad hotel, but be aware of location of the hotel. Shame as the hotel is pretty, clean and had nice amenities inside. Just wish you could pick it up and move it closer to the center of Brussels. To expand, the immediate surrounding area seems run down and many businesses and shops were closed down, the ‘garden square’ in front of the hotel was filled with overgrown weeds, dead plants and probably hasn’t been maintained for months, if not a year. Also, lots of trash and didn’t feel clean nearby. Very busy street along the hotels side and no easy, or safe feeling, way to walk towards the heart of Brussels. Another concern was the knowledge and friendliness of the staff. Asked the two front desk staff for a local laundry to do a small load. Neither could recommend one and so we had to figure out on our own and ventured even further into what seemed like an unsafe and unfriendly area. Second interaction was that the breakfast staff would not allow us to take food up to our two children who were not feeling well one morning. Just tried to take croissants and jams, but they stopped us and told us they would have to come down to the restaurant. Not a lot to ask, especially when breakfast is included with the stay and when children are unwell.

Beautiful decor and lovely staff.

We had a great stay at Urban Yard with my family, they provided baby’s cot. The team was very helpful, the customer assistance was amazing, especially Anass. From the design to the location of the hotel is a 5 stars, but I gave Urban Yard 4 stars because they don’t provide a fridge. It’s difficult to look after a child in a room without a fridge.

Nice comfy room, clean, good bathroom.
Staff very friendly and the lobby smells amazing.
4.4
Clean , stylish and very modern hotel with lovely staff and close to the town center, cannot fault!

The hotel is beautifully renovated, the rooms and BR are large but the perimeters of the hotel is Unsafe. You wouldnt like being on the street at night. Plan on being in your hotel room before it gets dark. The Midi station and the metro is very close but you need to watch your back walking to it.

We had a really good stay at this hotel. The room was big, the bed really comfortable and check-in and check-out were quick and efficient.
The hotel is close to the midi station and 15 min walk to the city center, so very convenient.

It was such a cute boutique hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. But location was not very good. I felt uncomfortable walking around. And the air conditioner was set so that it would not come on until the temperature was a certain degrees celsius outside and so it was extremely hot and I did not sleep well which does not make for a restful vacation.

My family and i spent 1 night at the hotel. It was clean, comfortable and within walking distance of most amenities. The breakfast was first class and the staff vey friendly and helpful. Money well spent, would definitely return.

Nice and clean room, a little loud neighbors but ok for the price

This hotel was so convenient to walk to from the train stn, and to the Grand Place. The staff were friendly, and very helpful, and the room was clean, quiet, and roomy enough for 3 of us.
4.4
Well received. Comfortable rooms, loved the lobby and dining areas! Would definitely recommend!
4.4
The area is not the best, around the hotel is dirty. But is convenient because is close to train station and walkable to attraction area. What I missed in the hotel was a fridge or an ice machine. If you stay for over one night, you are not able to buy groceries to have some snack at the hotel room. But overall for one night, was ok.
4.4
Front desk was helpful and pleasant. Room was clean and spacious. Overall great experience.
4.4
Lovely, spacious room just a few minutes’ walk from Brussels Midi (very handy if you’ve arrived by train/Eurostar).

Staff are wonderful

Sweet place and affordable. Will go again

Super friendly staff, felt really welcome during our visit. Some reviews complain about the location, and while I agree it's not in the prettiest part of Brussels, we never felt unsafe. Just have some common sense if it's late at night. It's really close to the Midi station as well as Lemonier station, and it's also quite within walking distance from the main square. For us, one of the greatest advantages is how close it is to Cantillon. Will definitely stay there again when we go back.
4.4
Even the hotel itself was very nice and the staff very helpful, the price was high for a hotel located in a part of the city that did not feel nice or 100% safe. The other negative was that the hotel does not have a bar so when you get back to the hotel in the evening, there’s nothing to do and venturing out in the local area was a definite no-no.
4.4
Our trip was canceled as the Eurostar train from London to Brussels was cancelled due to flood. However, when asked for a refund, they declined this even though this was not our fault. Expedia rep even reached out to the manager directly but our request was denied. This was really disappointing as we were really looking forward for this trip and the cancellation was something beyond our control. Very disappointed!

Excellent room,
Very clean.
Breakfast it was basic.

This property was immaculately clean. The staff is so kind and helpful.
We needed to store our bags even after we checked out and they accommodated us.
Very very nice staff. Well trained !!
4.4
The hotel was beautiful and clean, but I was a female solo traveler and felt very unsafe to walk back alone at night since it is a little bit far away from the center.
4.4
Very nice hotel and helpful staff, rooms are comfortable and well designed. The area, although well connected to public transport (gare du midi, métro and tram) is a typical train station type of neighbourhood (relatively dirty and potentially unsafe at night) with few dining options in the area.
4.4
We had a great quick one night stay here but I wish we had stayed longer. The staff was extremely helpful and the hotel was beautiful and very clean.
