When you’re in a small town, sometimes you have to lower your expectations when it comes to hotels. Not the case here! Clean rooms in good condition. A cool entrance and lobby too that’s very appropriate for West Texas. It’s a bit of a hike to Big Bend National Park, but an appropriately priced place if Terlingua fills up.

Great place to stay!

Exceptionally comfortable and clean. Convenient location to our visit. Worth the price.

It was an enjoyable stay. Good staff. Area kept clean. Very nice pool area. Excellent mattress.
Mediocre breakfast. Too large of a TV for the room. Bathroom area very cramped.
Also, didn't like the Hindu devotional idol set up behind the check-in counter. But it was an easily accessible property, that was safe and quiet.

Good location. Good swimming pool.
Penny’s dinner close to the hôtel was good.

The stay at this hotel wasn’t very nice, to begin with I had a hard time booking it on hotels.com so I tried at the front counter to which the people hardly spoke english(not an issue as I am mostly bilingual and have a knack for a lot of accents) however once I DID get the room booked I paid from Friday night through Monday morning. Every morning the manager was at my door asking me to check out or WHEN I was checking out. I had to pay for an EXTRA night at the normal hotel fee which was 40$ higher than the internet price. Plus the staff weren’t the friendliest.

I stayed 2 nights in Alpine, TX and explored Marfa and the Prada Marfa art installation. Unfortunately, I picked the wrong dates to take my vacation. It was raining the entire time so I spent a lot of time in my room. Room was decent in size. Bed was comfy. Bathroom was on the small side. TV stopped working for some reason. It was quiet.

Friendly staff. Good location

This Quality Inn was perfect for a landing zone while visiting nearby state and national parks. The room was very clean and well maintained. Staff was very courteous and attentive. Well lit parking lot with tons of spaces. My only single qualm was how remarkably bad the coffee was in the breakfast area. It came out thick and almost sludgy each day I tried it. I ended up just going next door to the gas station for coffee. But that was my only issue. Would absolutely stay here again.

Check in was easy and the young man at front desk was polite and later helped with a tv issue (twice). The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I had no issue or complaints with the room or staff, everyone was polite and helpful. My only issue was the food in the morning. I stayed for two nights and both mornings, I only got cereal because that was the only thing I could eat that was good. Now this is only my opinion, because there were many workman in the breakfast area with plates piled high and chowing down on the food.

Linen smelled sweaty. Had issue with tv. Asked attendant to assist. Came to the room with a hand full of remotes. Got the tv turned on. I turned off the tv and stepped out. Came back and tryed to turn on the tv but they left me the wrong remote. Could not watch tv in the evening. Didnt want them coming to my room again.

Nice friendly staff and very clean but a lot of slamming doors after hours and housekeeping might want to knock before entering an occupied room.

Beds a little tall.

The property was pleasant. Staff were friendly. Daily room maintenance and towels. Strong wi-fi.

The entryway and lobby of this hotel is very appealing as was our room. My only issue is that the rooms are definitely not sound proof. Our room had a nice sofa with coffee table. A quaint desk set-up with chair. A king size bed with side tables. Plenty of lighting and towels. The blackout shade rolled down and had a picture printed on it which added to the atmosphere of the room. Except for the noise from the neighboring room and hallway this was one of the nicest rooms we have stayed in. I would stay here again.

We specifically went to this property through expedia because it indicated that it had a hot tub. Unfortunately the hot tub was not in working condition (heater not working) when we got there. Breakfast was terrible. They need to put much more effort into it for the price they were asking. Had I known this information we would have stayed somewhere else for much less money.

They’ve done some upgrades to the furnishings that is nice. GIANT BIG SCREEN if you’re into tv. The ice machine was broken. The shower head was old and should have also been replaced. Mattress and pillows were too soft for my personal taste, but that’s me. Overall, I’d give this a B.

The hotel staff was very friendly and polite. The rooms itself was nice and clean.
The only issue we have was the breakfas, it was horrible. No eggs or protein. They have biscuits and gravy. Gravy was straight up cold and biscuits were hard as a rock, you could tell they were super old. To make it worse the orange juice tastes funky, which might have been due to lack of clean dispenser perhaps. Honestly the hotel was not bad just the breakfast, I recommend if you stay here get breakfast somewhere else , not worth it.

The hotel was good for the price, considering this is the closest town to Big Bend. The hot breakfast was better than expected based on previous reviews. Food options in this town are limited.

. No hot water from Friday night to Saturday night. We were not able to take a shower. ... Generally clean but for the price of this motel, you want it to be great.
10.0
Very friendly and helpful front desk staff, able to help with limited dining suggestions for a Sunday night when most options were closed.
We appreciated having housekeeping take care of the basics each day--a rarity these days for multiple nights stays.
Good breakfast options, especially for travelers visiting Big Bend National Park.

Tv not working properly. Then no hot water because something was broke. So cold shower.

The Quality Inn is an older property but overall still clean. The breakfast choices were very poor. The TV never worked. The pool was under construction. The staff was friendly.
I am reluctant to choose this place again.

Our TV and phone did not work for the 3 nights we stayed, despit e multiple attempts by staff to fix, it would not stay fixed without ebtering a password. There was never an offer of compensation or to change rooms.

Great location. On the north end of town closest to Big Bend National Park

So I hate to give bad reviews but the smell of pine sol Or whatever cleaning products they use is overwhelmingly strong. The breakfast bacon was raw and the coffee was weak. The bathroom needed a new cauking job but the bed and room were nice and comfy if you don’t mind the smell. At least it was clean!!

no elevator. put in an elevator! room was comfortable and clean.
