I was traveling around the world, and Ho Chi Minh City was my final destination. To celebrate my month-long journey, I purchased a welcome gift as part of my stay. Unfortunately, what was unveiled was not the thoughtful experience I expected but rather the ignorance and irresponsibility of the staff. At the check-in counter, the receptionist claimed that there was no such thing as a welcome gift. Initially, I assumed she was working on resolving the matter, but two hours passed without any follow-up. When I inquired again, the experience manager stated that he couldn’t locate the purchase in the system and asked me to prove it myself. Later, he shifted the blame onto me, suggesting the issue arose because I had made a last-minute booking. Adding to the disappointment, the room itself was in a deplorable condition—there were traces of human feces in the toilet and pigeon droppings on the window. After enduring this ordeal for over four or five hours past check-in, extending well past midnight, the resolution offered was a single drink at the cafe. I declined, as what I purchased explicitly stated a "Welcome Gift Upon Arrival." The timing of such a gesture is crucial, and a belated offering renders it meaningless. Had this not been a five-star hotel, I would have had no expectations and, therefore, no disappointment. However, this was a five-star property, and the staff's lack of professionalism and poor service utterly ruined my day. Stay at a proper 5-star hotel.

Nice classic hotel, my room had a great View over Saigon. Great Breakfast buffet The Hotel have a nice pool, gym and spa/Sauna area. The Only minus with my stay, there was a lot of Pigoens around The pool area.

Had a fabulous stay at the Caravelle, our room was large, clean and very comfortable, with staff leaving bottles of water twice daily, which was very appreciated with the extreme heat. We were walking distance to shops restaurants and all major tourist attractions which made our trip very convenient and effortless. The hotel is very beautiful and elegant with a big swimming pool and bar that offers happy hour everyday and pool staff very friendly and attentive to our needs. Definitely will be booking this hotel again on our next visit to Ho Chi Min city.

This is a fine hotel. Communication surrounding various lounge policies is non-existant. This caused issues at check-in and during our stay. The hotel made it right to all credit where credit is due, however as a fundamental change, they need to do better.

During my recent stay at the Caravelle Hotel in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, I was impressed by the outstanding service and lavish amenities. From the moment I arrived, the experience was seamless. I chose to add the hotel’s limousine service, which provided a smooth and comfortable transfer from the airport, setting the tone for the rest of my stay. The hotel's blend of modern luxury and classic charm created an inviting atmosphere. My room was impeccably clean, well-equipped, and overlooked the French Colonial-style Opera House. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the accommodation. The staff, particularly those in the Signature Lounge, went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. They greeted me by name each day and remembered my regular order, adding a personal touch that made my stay truly special. The culinary offerings were another highlight. Whether noshing in the Signature Lounge or dining in one of the hotel’s restaurants, every meal was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented--and vegetarian friendly. Located in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City, the Caravelle offers easy access to key attractions, making it the perfect base for exploring the city. Overall, my experience at the Caravelle was exceptional. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning on my next visit to Ho Chi Minh City.

The quality of the room as always was excellent, the service was for the nost part decent until the last night. The music from the roof bar could be felt in our room, I pointed this out to a member of staff whonwas completely indifferent. The music temporarily got quieter, then the loud volume resumed so again I complained as it woke myself and my daughter up. Again the staff memeber seemed indifferent. I thrn got a call on the room phone 15 minutes later from a staff member, again waking us both up. Secondly, I wouldn't waste your money on a room with signature lounge access, we went in for breakfast and thr hit food options were cold, this was only 5 minutes after it openened too. Apart from this the service was great, the room comfortable, but I will choose a different hotel when next in Saigon.

Perfect location. Walkable to all major attractions in downtown HCMC. Business lounge is great , afternoon cocktail & food options are wonderful. One downside is the loud music & noise from karaoke or bar from the street coming through the glass window. Room is soundproof from inside the hallway though. Overall everything is great.

A fabulous older style property that has been recently renovated. Its in a perfect location for easy walking to the attractions and restaurants. We stayed in a Club room which provided great service and food. A gem!

Had a wonderful stay at the Caravelle. Hotel is very convenient to attractions and restaurants. The staff is very professional and attentive. Facility extremely clean and comfortable. We got to experience the Signature Lounge which gave us a whole other level of comfort and service. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and more than enough to keep us going throughout the day. This is where I will stay when I come to Saigon.
