Checked in online thinking that it would be a breeze. Not quite so. Had to wait in common line just like everybody else. With only one person manning front desk trying to resolve some charge issue with a customer in front of me, the wait was dragging for good 10 minutes. It seems the "self checkin" feature serves for customers to do part of clerical work. In my case for the room charge of $200 I had a pleasure of scanning my id and uploading, as well as filling out forms with same info already provided at booking.
Secondly, convenience pantry with small items like toothpaste, brushes, floss, snacks, etc. had toothpaste in menu, but none on the shelves. I paid for it, but was not able to find it for the life of me. Checkin staff has assured me "if it's on the menu - it'll be there".
Room was clean, but carpet somewhat nasty, which is understandable, since they have pets allowed.

Camp Verde is a good alternative and Days Inn is a great option

We were greeted with one of the most friendly desk attendance we’ve experienced in a long time. He was very helpful pointing out local restaurants and places we should try. We also went down to the pool and hot tub after the long day and it was very clean and very well-kept. I am definitely staying here again and this is definitely a hidden gem.

Nice staff, good breakfast, never changed sheets or made bed during 5 day stay.

The smell in the room was overwhelming. There was some sort of attempt to cover up a smell in the room that gave me a headache.
The room that breakfast was served in was too small, making it difficult to prepare your breakfast if there was more than 3 people in the space.

It was a comfortable stay overall. The property needs to be upgraded. Main sign outside is faded so almost missed the place. Furniture and interior are very outdated yet bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly. The eggs at breakfast was greasy; sausages were okay; make your own waffle was the best part of breakfast. Only apples available for fruit selection. Could have used so.e bananas and/or oranges.

The staff were very kind, the breakfast was good, and the room was clean. What more could you ask at a hotel.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. My room was clean and had a couch and coffee table in addition to the desk. The shower was great with good water pressure.
Their breakfast is not the usual cheap breakfast with just muffins and cereal. They have both of those items but also eggs sausage and even a dual waffle maker and more. Had a great stay and would recommend to anyone and would stay with them again.

Andrew at the front desk went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and to update me about my benefits as a gold member. He is an outstanding part of your organization! (Give that man a raise!)

When we entered the room there was a very strong musty and Febreeze odor. They were all full and couldn’t switch our room. But the front desk attendant really went out of his way to ionize the room and run big fans for us. It was better but we won’t return there. Breakfast attendant was great!

Decent property, the pool was disconnected from the hotel and in the back of the parking lot. Didn’t feel safe at night. Rooms are small and outdated, but if your not planning on spending a lot of time there they work fine.

Room was outdated, the ac made noise as it was on, there were holes in our curtain in which the sun rays shined through in the morning.

I’ve never been treated so nice by staff at a hotel. The staff go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The hotel itself is a little dated and could use some updates but I saw where it was for sale so I can understand why the current owners don’t want to dump a bunch of money in it. If you just need a quiet place to lay your head while traveling and great staff to meet all your needs, this hotel is it. If you are looking for a 4 star resort, then stay in VOC or Sedona. I will definitely be back!

So many things to highlight! First, my family and I would like to thank the front desk staff who went above and beyond during our stay. We sent the hotel a message asking if we could drop off our luggage a few hours before check-in and were told we could. When we arrived to drop off our bags, the front desk (Chastity) said we could actually check in early to one of our two rooms. This was a wonderful surprise, which was very much appreciated since we were traveling with three kids. Later in the evening, front desk attendant, Andrew, assisted in checking us in to our second room. He provided our group with pool towels, extra pillows, and allowed us to hang out in the “breakfast” area to eat our meals with our family. He provided us with coffee and drinks for the kids. We used the pool during our stay and the entire family enjoyed it. The breakfast in the morning was also a delight. We certainly appreciate the hospitality during our one night stay. Highly recommend to anyone who’s traveling with a family.

The room was not clean the hot breakfast consisted of sausage eggs and watered down waffle mix that tasted like it was stale and old when we arrived the guy behind the counter acted like we was bothering his cigarette break and was very unwelcoming staff seamed as if they had better things to do besides help anyone out their towels had holes in them all and all it was a very bad decision to stay at this property and I will not subject myself or my family to their establishment again

I actually booked it before realizing the pool is outdoor. Thunder and lightning prevented us from using the pool but the hotel accommodations and the hot breakfast more than made up for it.
I would definitely recommend when visiting Montezuma Castle and Tuzigoot NM or just someplace outside Phoenix going to or returning from Grand Canyon.

Easy on/off interstate location near a few restaurants. Slightly older decor but kept clean. Loved the free bottled water and the gal staffing breakfast was really helpful. Front desk did well juggling multiple people and still making us feel welcome. The location is not walkable to Camp Verde where you’d most likely want a good meal. We have a family of 5 so the suite had enough beds and the queen beds were comfortable. Couch bed sloped toward your head and had the bar dig in your back so not the best. I also wish places would stock 5 towels ahead of time when they know from your reservation that you are 5 people. I dislike always having to ask for that 4th and 5th towel.

The hotel was nice and clean, and the staff was pleasant and helpful (especially the morning breakfast crew!). I only have two small complaints. One is that the smoking area is directly outside the front door, so if you are walking in or out, you walk through smoke (most times I left or returned, there was someone out there smoking). The other is that the shower head was broken and I could not adjust the spray pattern (it came out like 5 darts of water). I was able to still take a shower, but it was not as pleasant as it could have been.

Extremely Friendly Staff.

The hotel room was big. We found several dead bugs on the bathroom floor. Breakfast was ok. The hotel was very pricey for what it has too offer, not worth the money.
