Broken dispensers, duck tape on the shower head, metal protruding from the floor, thank goodness my kids weren’t with us. They never cleaned the room during our stay. The one good thing was breakfast.

The property had no signage and minimal property/safety lighting. We called from the entry way for 10 min before anyone answered-we could see the front desk but saw noone. We arrived at almost 1am and the hallways reeked of marijuana. We were told they only had 1 key as they have no more keys, we then went to our room and the door deadbolt would not lock. We had been traveling and up for 20 hrs so we barricaded our door and went to bed. The hallway had a strange beeping sound and we had a strange greenish blue light in the room off an on reflecting on the wall with no obvious source. The black tape over the detector above the bed was concerning. Being located next to the railroad was not idea either from a sound perspective. We decided there were too many issues with this place so we checked out after the first night, 2 nights early. We did explain all of this to the desk person when we checked out, and she was apologetic but said their maintenance person had a medical emergency so he hasn't been there the past few days. The maintenance issues we saw were much more than a few days' worth-the pool didn't look used for years (was closed). They did refund part of our money and honestly I don't have time to pursue anything else. I have pics and video of all aspects of this review, should the property owner like to see them in hopes they will make the necessary changes to stand up to the Marriott chain name. Otherwise this was a dissapointing stay.

Service was great, good breakfast. Room was a bit "lived in", could use some updates.
4.3
Way too loud, I stayed in 221 in the building across from the office. Whenever people walked in the room next to me (or rooms next to me; but probably mostly from Room #223), the echo and vibration and THUD from the steps was way too loud. Paying over $200 a night with fees, that's way too much to spend to have to deal with noise like that. The room was pretty good, pretty clean. The location was fine. I just won't stay there again because of how loud the vibration and steps and thuds were.
4.3
The rooms layout was just what we needed but for the price I expected every tv to work every light to work and a door that wasn’t falling apart and needed a man to get to close.
4.3
Location was great for red rock show, pool area is so so, small but tidy and towels provided. Picture missing from wall, trim missing from bathroom, and toilet paper hold detaching from wall. Nothing that greatly affected our experience in general but just observations we made.
4.3
Really average but cleaner than some as of late, the staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was what you would expect from a upscale Continental breakfast: larger choice, clean, adequate, microwaved and mostly warm. Negatively; Toilets are still the old short round bowels - being 51 with 40 years in construction this screams ancient and cheap. The other major problem was the noise level of the passing vehicles during the night granted I live in the middle of nowhere with no passing traffic for literally miles.
4.3
Friendly staff, comfortable bed, nice breakfast. Walls were thin and the smell wasn’t great, but those were minor issues. It’d be nice if the sign out front was fixed and lit up.
4.3
The room was fine with stove, microwave, fridge, dishes, however, lots of chipped paint and any wood needs a new coat of stain or paint.
4.3
Room had a horrible mold smell. Faucet on shower was held together with duct tape. Blood stain on door. Pull out couch was broken.
4.3
We’ve stayed here before and it was great. Perfect location for getting into the Denver area and up to the mountain. Rooms are clean and love having the kitchen. Bathroom was good but the shower/tub had lots of grab bars but would be nice to put some rough strips on the floor of the tub. It gets very slick when showering. Staff was very good. It was another good stay
4.3
Hotel had problems with television connection. Did not have tv for two days but staff was very good about it and tried their best. They finally got problem solved
4.3
Very clean and friendly staff
4.3
Great and clean

For a Marriott property this place was disappointing. It could stand some updates and the pool was not attended to as one would expect. I sure they are doing the best they can with the staff available.
4.3
Every thing was very good and perfect with the exception of breakfast. We were in this place for 7 days and each day something was missing from milk to English muffins and scrambled eggs…
4.3
Not a bad place. Kind of average for the price I was paying. But the staff was great.
4.3
The staff were very nice and helpful. the area around the hotel was not well kept.
4.3
From all the pictures in the ratings online, it looks like a fine place. As my husband and I turned off the highway and started getting closer. We noticed the neighborhood going downhill, especially when we saw the pawnshop on the corner. It looks like the hotel is located in industrial type area and as we follow the instructions on Waze, it took us around the back where the sign to the hotel was all smashed. There was garbage all laying in the road that looked like furniture and blankets and junk and a strange man wandering around in the parking lot. As we drove around, we still couldn’t find the front of the hotel and I told him to drive away. There was no way I was staying there.
Although I was contacted by the hotel after I canceled my reservation and they told me they looked around and their guests were safe, It still was not located in a good area and it was not a place that I would want to stay.
4.3
The front desk staff was friendly upon arrival - the hotel is dated and needs some fixing up, but our room was clean and free of weird smells. The A/C units worked well, as did the fridge. The pool area was also clean and family friendly. The breakfast was small but well stocked and clean. Over all, this was a great stay for our family of 3 for 4 nights!
4.3
Close to freeway access, clean room and very comfortable. Lots of good restaurants nearby.
4.3
Hotel & location is great! However, we received no room service. Our trash was overflowing, we were left no extra toilet paper, trash bags, or coffee for the coffee maker.
I was at the front desk 3 different times and each time I had to wait because there was no one there. Even though I could hear them talking and had to walk around the desk each time to get their attention.
The breakfast food was also awful, not your typical breakfast buffet. Definitely not what I expect when staying with Marriott.
4.3
The kitchen was nice and convenient. The overall experience was okay. There was some street noise that was a bit much a couple of nights. The room was a bit dated and worn.
4.3
Close to the highway and still quiet
4.3
Great staff. Clean rooms. Conveniently located by Red Rocks.
4.3
Hotel has significant traffic noise as ots on a very busy corner.
4.3
No room service during our 3 days stay. No attention to customer from some of the reception staff.
Bad smell in the parking lot during our stay.
Reception and passage way for access to the rooms are rundown and need serious improvement.
So it is very expensive for such a place
4.3
Our room smelled like B.O, so not sure about the cleanliness. The gym is very very tiny. The gym still gets the job done though, but you may have to plan your workout around if anyone else wants to use the gym at the same time. The staff was very nice and friendly! We were only there for a night so I did not complain about the smell, if I had I think they would have taken care of it.

Super friendly staff

Great place to stay !!
Staff was excellent!!! Felt very inviting and friendly
And the general manager Kevin gave great tips and recommended great food places to also try out local to Colorado !!!
Definitely would stay here again !

My only suggestion is to be clearer on your so-called “pet friendly” fee before the guest reserves a non refundable stay online. $50.00 for a small, well trained dog is too much and if I had known prior to reserving a room I would have selected a different hotel.
4.3
This was a very convenient location for my trip to Golden. Nice to have the kitchen facilities, saved lots of money on meals. I especially want to commend the front desk staff who worked on June 3 (sorry I don't know her name). I had an issue with one fingernail but had forgotten to bring nail clippers. When I asked at the front desk if they sold clippers, she said they didn't, but she would loan me hers. She sanitized them with alcohol first, then let me borrow hers. Great service! Breakfast workers were also very helpful and pleasant. I would definitely stay here again.
4.3
The rooms are old need of an update.
4.3
There was road noise from a very busy street outside. The bathroom sink stopper didn't work. The shower was stuck "on". The toilet ran occasionally.
4.3
The location was convenient to go to st. Anthony’s hospital. We didn’t get house keeping everyday which was inconvenient so we had to keep requesting it.
4.3
We enjoyed our stay. The breakfasts could have been a bit better, but it didn’t affect our overall opinion of the place.
4.3
Staff was amazing. Property could use some updating with carpet and painting. Overall excellent stay!
4.3
Great employees made the stay good.
4.3
Staff was excellent, room was incredibly nice, and my stay was super nice.

Thank you for your hospitality and friendly stay!
