The reception and the garden were very poor. Old furniture, not well-maintained. Not a 4 stars hotel

Personnel was very friendly and helpful. View from hotel was spectacular. Safe and peaceful area. Very educated personnel, welcoming and hospitable. Thank you!

The most beautiful panoramic view that can be seen in Jerusalem belongs to this hotel. I would recommend it to everyone.

Best staff, best view, serene and close to the old city

Everything is good except staff and service. They’re starting to take breakfast dishes immediately while you’re eating, there’s a coffee machine but it’s not working. You need to use other one but they’re closing the doors. I don’t know why but something strange happening about the kitchen chief. It feels like they’re always following what you’re taking on your dishes.
Rest of others are perfect but the service and kitchen has to be careful immediately, it’s so rude.

Very quiet room and property away from city noise with amazing views from the property. We will stay there again

Elijah, Sophian and other front desk staff are very helpful, as are the cleaning staff Saleh and Joseph, and the dining staff Mahmoud and Mohamed, the breakfast is a good value.
We enjoyed our total 3 weeks here.
I will be staying here again as it is quite compared to the old city and the rooms are clean and updated.

The property is quite and peaceful right in the mount of olives. The staff are all very helpful and honest. The bus stop is in front of the hotel, and an easy ride into old Jerusalem. The area is very safe, and the local people (mostly Muslim) are mostly friendly and helpful.
We stayed about 3 weeks total here, and we look forward to coming again.
The rooms are updated and clean, breakfast is a good value.

The hotel has a panoramic view in terms of location. It is possible to reach the city center by walking, bus or taxi. The hotel staff are very nice, friendly and warm. Although the price is much higher than the surrounding hotels, even twice as much, the breakfast offered is very limited and very simple. You will be bored if the products offered for breakfast are always limited and the same for long-term rather than short-term stays. I think not only me, but everyone staying at the hotel deserves a better quality and more diverse breakfast for the money I pay. I hope hotel officials read this and offer us more options for breakfast for long-term stays. If you are wondering what the options are. Mashed potatoes, french fries, fried mushrooms, sausage and sausage fries, eggplant, zucchini and pepper fries, tuna, green onion, parsley, arugula, onion, and similar alternatives should not be seen by customers.

Everything is really good, all the staff are very optimistic, helpful and friendly. The only drawback is that you have to honk the horn when leaving the parking lot. I hope a bell button will be installed at the parking lot exit and vehicle owners will not have to honk the horn. When every vehicle leaving the parking lot honks its horn, this creates a very unpleasant situation for people sleeping or resting. If the vehicle leaving the parking lot presses a bell button near the barrier, people will not be disturbed. I stayed for 7 days and since it was a pleasant hotel with a panoramic view, I extended my stay for another week. thank you for everything.

Great hotel to stay at because of the location. Good breakfast and rooms
Used buses to take you down to the tram or to the bus / new railway station as well as getting taxi outside the hotel

Recently renovated hotel, very good service and room cleaning. Facing to Old Town Jerusalem and you can see all the way to Jordanian mountains from backyard platform. Breakfast-dinner buffet and dining room excellent. Stayed 7 nights and nothing to complain. Will come back for sure.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was exceptional.

Seven Arches is a bit run down and clearly makes its money on the tour industry. That said, the room was comfortable and clean, the bed was good, food and service were good and the view is spectacular. We would use it again.

Let me stat by saying that the hotel has superb views of the old city, simply outstanding. That said, the hotel had its glory day probably during the 60’s or 70’s. Its installations are outdated. Since it is in the top of a hill it is kind of hard to get to the Old City from there. Walking there is strenuous to say the least. Use bus 275 instead and stop at Sultan Sulleyman bus station, right across the Damascus Gate. The hotel employees won’t care about you, they won’t greet you, they won’t help you unless asked, they will simply ignore you. Breakfast is abundant but extremely cheap: the cheapest cereal, the cheapest cold cuts, the cheapest artificially orange flavored beverage, you get the idea. Guest would hang their clothes to dry in the halls, the patio and the employees would pass next to them and could bother less. It happened two days in a row. I would recommend anyone to stay here. During check out I had to wait 10 minutes for someone to show up at the front desk which was completely deserted.

Not a great property. Very old and worn. My room was stuffy with a slow AC unit. Long Walk to the old City from the hotel

Good location with nice view. 20mins walk to Old city. Ok with the amenities. However it is an old fashion hotel with rude staff.

Hotel is old, run down and not as advertised. We are very disappointed in hotels.com for advertising this hotel and recommended it.

Very well situated hotel, comfortable rooms, slightly dirty but overall clean, however the service must improve (incorrect information given at check in, lack of parking space for the hotel guests, etc.)

The staff and service were excellent but the shower was cold and had to get in and out quickly. The room was also very cold and heard several others complain to the front desk. They did deliver a small heater to my room however that warmed me up nicely. The view was unbelievable and we’ll worth the stay for that.

This is an old Intercontinental Hotel back when the chain was owned by the Pan American Airlines, and was remodeled two years ago. Like the older hotels, it has spacious rooms and dining area. The dining room (used for breakfast) overlooks old Jerusalem in its magnificence. I do not think there is any other hotel in Jerusalem with such a view. You can also see the Dead Sea from the back of the hotel. It is a 20 minute walk (but down to enter the Lions Gate and old Jerusalem. The buffet breakfast and dinner were excellent, probably on a 4 star level. If I ever get to return, this would be my first choice. Oddly, it was priced about 1/2 the other 3 and 4 star hotels like the Leonardo. The lobby is not ornate like some other hotels. Note: Google maps has two locations for it, only the southern one is correct.
