Breakfast was amazing - could have it any time till 2pm. Loads of variety and vegetarian options.

Upgraded by the lovely check in staff!

Shower didn’t work correctly. Connection to switch from bath to shower was broken. Paid extra for a furnished balcony and there was no outdoor furniture. Very poor I thought.
Reception didn’t want to know about it. Very average. The hotel is clean and immaculate, but wouldn’t stay there ever again.

The check in and out process was fantastic. Staff were very friendly and kind. The car park is hard to navigate and we had issues going in, because it uses a traffic light system but there were cars blocking the lanes so two cars couldn’t pass each other. We had to reverse out into oncoming traffic and then pull back in. The rooms were clean and you could tell they were cared for well, but they are pretty dated and in need of reno’s. The carpet in our room was patchy and pulled in many places, the appliances were very old. The A/C vents were pretty dusty. The bed was really comfy and clean. The pull out couch was fine for the kids but it would be uncomfortable for adults. The views from the balcony were beautiful and the pool was a nice addition. Overall we had a nice stay and would likely return.

I liked the location.

Excellent location, quiet considering you’re in the city. Staff lovely. However, rooms are badly in need of maintenance. We couldn’t have the air conditioning on due to the noise of it, like sleeping on a freight train. We asked if we could be moved, however we couldn’t. We then asked Saturday morning if someone could fix the air conditioning and nothing happened. Carpet in room is separated, door to fridge broken, just small things that have not been attended to. Disappointing for the price.

Loved staying there

The Sebel is very well located and easy walk to CBD and Queens Street shopping. Staff are excellent as was the room; a great size, very clean and well appointed. I'd like to see Nespresso or something similar as coffee machines as opposed to a kettle and horrible instant coffee. Other than that I highly recommend the Sebel.

Booked the Sebel for 3 nights. Great location quite for being in the middle of the city. The apartment was a great size. We had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant downstairs called the croft. Was very very good great meals and great service. Would definitely book here again for a short stay in Brisbane

I booked this hotel based on the Reviews but I would not stay here again. The taxi had to park away from the hotel and I struggled with my luggage. There was no doorman and no one helped me to my room.
I had to leave for the airport early. When I got to the reception no one was at the desk. A cleaner was vacuuming and never greeted me or answered me when I asked where the reception was. Nice start to the morning. I finally went behind the counter and found the clerk. He asked if I had anything from the mini bar and I told Jim I had a packet of crisps and a bottle of water, he said he wouldn’t charge me for the water and the potato chips were $6,00. I paid cash.
The taxi the hotel booked did not turn up but fortunately there was a cab outside. The clerk reluctantly helped me with my luggage. Now I have just discovered the hotel took $11 from my credit card so the clerk must have pocketed the money. I have notified my bank.
Do not stay at this hotel. I have stayed at better hotel for the price they charge.

Great apartment. Kids loved the heated pool. Easy walk to everything.

Very large room. Decor a bit dated. Dozens of ornamental cushions on the bed which is pet hate as clogs the room when you take them all off the bed to make place to sleep. Reception friendly. No plug or charging point next to the bed. Pink was in town so prices were double normal and very poor value.

Rooms booked were damp and musky, and had a bad smell.
Washing machine broke and my clothes were stuck in there. Made arrangements with management for them to post my clothes back once they sorted it out - then never heard back.

Hotel rooms are very dated and need a good clean. Sometimes our sheets had stains. The cleaning isnt great and there are a few problems with the layout of the room e.g the plates in the kitchen were kept in the same cupboard as the bin. The location was great and staff were great. I just wouldnt stay here again until the rooms were refurbished and cleaning improved.

The sebel was great. Loved the location. Our one bedroom premium apartment was just big enough for our family of 2 adults and 2 kids under 13yrs. We walked from central station to our hotel with all the bags. First time in Brisbane and it was not an issue finding the hotel.. lots of meal options around the hotel that were cheaper then south bank. We walked to south bank nearly everyday which took about 20min eachway. New overbridge once open will cut down on the time. My kids loved the markerts .the apartment was fine for two nights but if staying long we would change to a two bedroom so the kids have a separate bed to the sofa bed in loving room. The premium room did say in hotel website that it came with apples and magazines .which we never received and we didn't have access to the on demand movies but as we were only there two nights it wasn't an issue. Just made me 2nd guess we were given the right grade of room. I did call reception to check on the night we arrived but he never called me back and my husband said since all other amenities were included it was most likely the right room. Even hotel restaurant was well priced for the area and it was always busy. The staff were friendly . On Sundays the Japanese shop few doors down has a Japanese market in the alley way. It's super cute and well worth a stop.there was construction site which our balcony overlooked but no work over weekend luckily but no mention of this on their website.Would stay again if no construction.

Great spot in the CBD for a long weekend away. Close to lots of great cafes and restaurants as well as the cinema. Easy walking distance to south bank and Fortitude Valley. Staff were always helpful and the unit was a good size. The shower over the bath isn’t ideal. The pool area was also good.

This hotel is in the middle of the city, but it's very dated. There's no USB port or Bedside light switches, which are pretty standard in other hotels.

I stayed in a lovely 1-br suite. Both the couch and bed with very comfortable over a long period of use. The kitchenette was well appointed and incudes coffee mugs. It would be nice if a Nespresso machine (the parts can be washed in the dish washer) was included in addition to the tea option.
The suite also had sliding doors to a balcony (limited views) which was lovely to let 'fresh' air in. I am sure it is hard to keep clean but it didn't feel like it had been done recently. The bathroom was a cute and effecient use of space (given how much time you actually spend there overall) - thumbs up. Alas water pressure in the shower was mimimal. Really the bathtub should go and just have a walk in shower cubical - anyone with mobility issues would not be able to use it.
The bedroom was blissfully almost black out and when balcony doors closed the room was almost sound proof from city noises (including construction site around the corner).
