Reception moved our room when we were told it was on the fourth floor, I had a 23kg bag and it was too heavy to take up the stairs as they did not have a lift.

The staff were lovely , very polite and helpful, the room was small and very dated but was clean . The hotel is ok if you just want a base, but the whole place could do with an upgrade .

Nice new bathroom. Very warm. Staff very nice good breakfirst. Was in basement so needed to open window in next room to.let in some air then slept well.towles changed every day. As was underground was a damp smell which went when window was opened.for the price in.london, cant complain.

This hotel is ok. The location is good and the staff are friendly and helpful. The room is small and the bathroom layout is poor as there is very little room to move in it. The towels and linen were not very clean on occasion and the WiFi was not great. There was a lot of outside noise that could be heard in the room which made sleeping difficult at times and there is no lift at the property. The breakfast selection provided was good although the cutlery/bowls were not always as clean as they should have been.
All in all this hotel provides the basics required in a convenient location but has room for improvement.

The toilet is too thin and smells bad, the cleaning staff has a shady attitude, the stairs are too narrow and difficult to get up and down.

We might be used to space and comfort in hotels elsewhere (e.g. North/South America, Africa, Asia) even when they're 2 or 3 stars but this one was very sub-standard. And it wasn't particularly cheap either. Uncomfortable bed, tight space, poor ventilation etc. The breakfast was ok though and friendly staff but I'll most likely not stay here again.

This is a hidden gem and the staff was extra generous and helpful to me in a tough situation, although beware that there is no entry after dark or very late check-ins as this is more of a family hotel. I was pleased with all of the amenities and built-in hair dryer! Thanks again - see you all next time!

Very dated...here the tube in basement room...cheap and not so cheerful.

We have stayed in many small hotels in London over the years but this is without a doubt the most run down and probably beyond rejuvenation. About the only saving grace was that it still includes breakfast which was basic but OK
5.0
Overall a good place to stay for a short convenient London break
2.0
No warm water what so ever, the bathrooms are small plastic pods straight out of an old caravan. No A/C, just a massive wall fan that is incredibly noisy.
The breakfast was not to our liking, being the cheapest ingredients and pastries imaginable. Would not recommend for more than a night, no option to shower without any heated water.
5.0
It was a great room and location. Staff were friendly and understanding
8.0
Very small rooms, especially the shower which was particularly cramped. Room was also incredibly warm but the fan was nice.

Nice and comfy. Good for a quick stopover in London.

The hotel is worth for the price I paid. They gave me a room downstairs with the window on the internal corridor but after I asked to be moved to another room they gave me a room at the 4th floor. The building is old and not so in good condition, but the room, the bed and the bathroom were really clean. If you look for a place in central London this is good with a little bit of adaption spirit.

They robbed me of my room and my fee.

The location is fine and the staff is friendly. The only inconvenience are the staircase (if you get the top floor) and the washroom which is too small.
4.0
A lot crammed into a small space!

Staff were so attentive and absolutely lovely, can’t fault service at all. Only criticism is that the pillows were yellow - overall cleanliness was pretty good. The trains (tube below) were quite loud. Could use some TLC but a pleasant stay nonetheless. Can’t reiterate enough that the staff were so lovely and provided an excellent service.

Very good hotel for the location and price

We realised we were booking a budget hotel but still disappointed more like hostel room bedding was clean though and staff pleasant just don’t expect much of

We did not like the amount of space available in the room particularly with the closet which cannot open fully, the length of the stairs to our room, the loudness of utilities such as the bathroom light, the fan, and the lack of space in the bathroom, where one person cannot enter without hitting a wall, door, or toilet.

Had to stay downstair, The noisy of the tube (metro) is extreme . You will feel the vibration. You can sleep only between 12.30 to 6 AM. The room was not cleam you can see the dirt on the carpet. They patched small metal on the carpet with nail when you press the patch the nails pops up. so every time you walk in the room yo have to cross it.
They dnt give shampoo. Also they dnt change your used towel you have to dry the towel in your room and use it for next day.
My small apperication : Kitchen staff was nice . Reception staff also helpful for any questions.

Dirty, all dirty.... no room for moving inside the room or in the toilet. Poor quality in everything.

We nrver checked that there was no elevator
2.0
Disgustingly dirty with visible stains. Fourth floor rooms are painful to reach even for a healthy adult because of the steep staircase and a lack of a lift. Impossible for anyone with physical disabilities. No warm water at all on our four night stay. Breakfast is the bare minimum of a buffet and neither appetizing nor nourishing. Only reason for a second star is the friendly staff.

Nice and helpful staff. Very simple, but OK breakfast with staff offering different versions of eggs. The room was OK compared to the cheap price. A place to hang the towel in the bathroom could be fine, and the shower did flood the floor even though it hardly had any water coming out of the shower head. Refurbishment work all day. People smoking tobacco and weed outside the windows which smells a bit odd.
3.0
fine - clean and kind staff members, just not a great utilisation of the space in the room (ie. no plugs next to the bed, no door for the bathroom, nowhere to store luggage etc)

Even though this was one of the cheaper alternatives I could find in all of London I still don't think it was worth the price. The location is pretty okay, but when looking at the state of the hotel rooms (we stayed in two different rooms as we had to change rooms during our stay due to double booking) the price is not justified!
An update is much needed not only in the rooms but also in the reception area. If an update is not possible one should at least clean the walls and carpet throughly!

I stayed with my family for three nights. Our stay was better than i thought it would be. Nice warm welcome at the front desk, the gentleman is a good listener, explain all we needed to know precise , thorough and with respect. The breakfast was amazing and lovely stay. Had little concern regarding screen time , but all sorted. I would without a doubt recommend Hyde Park Court Hotel, good location, and comfy night sleep. CLEAN ROOM, no fault. Thanks to all the staff

There are positives and negatives so lets start positive.
The en suite shower room looked quite new and was clean. Towels and soap provided. Staff were helpful and let us move room when we asked. Breakfast had a good selection of foods including hot food (eggs & beans with toast) which i wasn't expecting & cooked fresh. Lady serving breakfast was very friendly.
Negatives - place could do with freshly decorating. Rooms don't look as nice as the photo's on the website. Underground underneath the hotel so the first room we had in the basement shook as the train went by. We were moved up a floor which wasn't as bad but we still heard it. Basement room was also a bit smelly & tiny shower room.
I've stayed in other hotels on the same square and they are much nicer. But for one night at last minute and £53 for 2 of us it was fine.
