Bed was comfortable and food from restaurant was okay. Bathroom has noticeable mold in the shower the floor of the shower was black and gross. Location is amazing but hotel needs cleaning and improvements.

The hotel fit our needs exactly. We had a family suite with 2 bathrooms and a kitchen area. Kids loved the indoor heated pool and playroom. Location near Yosemite entrance was great. Pizza was very good.
5.0
Conveniently located so the value is good. The room is fine. This isn’t your holiday inn express. Almost all room items are outdated but still functional. The bed sheets could use some upgrades. The internet is spotty and difficult to use. For the location, I still consider this to be worth the money.

We enjoyed the layout of the room and felt the basics were all there; kitchen utensils, and bathroom (shampoo, soap, towels etc) were good. Also we had a lot of fun in the game room; that is a nice option.
However with so many good things, there are some definite weaknesses.
The shower in one of two bathrooms was so bad (spraying a little water everywhere) we could not shower there.
The WiFi was extremely weak. The TV only connected to a really old basic DirectTV. Good if you watch shows from the 90’s and 2000’s.

We stayed for 3 nights and our experience was mixed. The room was quite nice and we enjoyed the kitchenette, as dining options are limited in the area. The hot tub and river view were also enjoyable. The customer service at this hotel is not good, however. There was a planned power outage that ended up lasting until 6:30pm (far past their estimate of 5pm), which meant sitting in the dark for 90 minutes. The front desk staff were quite rude to us when we kindly asked for updates. The hot water did not come back on in our room that night and the front desk said they would send out maintenance but they did not end up coming and the problem wasn’t resolved until the next day. The hotel supervisor, Christian, said that he would give us a 20% discount for the poor service, but we have yet to receive that one week later.
Bottom line: this is a good place to stay if you want to be close to the park, but do not expect reasonable customer service if you run into any problems with your stay.

It was a great location for seeing Yosemite but it had the only restaurant around and it was a bit expensive for the quality. There was a small kitchenette so I would recommend bringing food for at least breakfast.

TV system down on Electionday , very bad , personal not interested to do anything .

A nice quiet stay. Nice clean room with a nice view of the river. I would stay here again.

No power throughout the stay

The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the property is laid out well. And it's hard to beat the location! The staff is great and very helpful.

Clean room, hot shower, comfortable bed, good restaurant onsite - everything I wanted after a long drive. Would stay there again.

Room left a lot to be desired, great sounds from the river, but door was missing extra lock, heater smelled awful when on. Was a gap at the bottom of the door and woke up to some ants roaming around the room.

Great location and good for family stays. The property has Pizzeria that was very convenient!

We were upgraded to the majestic suite for free! Amazing views of the Merced River. The bed was super comfortable. The shower was so fancy!! And we had our own jacuzzi in our room. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating.
I don’t recommend the breakfast buffet, but the other food options were delicious.

We had a good experience there. The environment was excellent, and the service was good and friendly. However, there were litterbugs in the kitchen area.

Nice location, although yosemite valley lodge has better location and it might be only slighlty higher. River does.not have much water in october when we stayed

We had a great stay! The multiple hot tubs were a great surprise, and both the pizza place and formal restaurant were really nice to have right there. We would definitely come again.

Nice and close to Yosemite! The room was dated, peeling wallpaper, and the tiled tub was rough condition

What an amazing place to have as a home base for a trip to Yosemite! Right outside the park. Such easy access. The room was terrific. Clean, spacious, comfortable. The kitchenette was just fine for breakfast preparations. Don't expect much internet service. Little to no cell service and wifi was poor. We only used housekeeping once but they did a nice job. Both restaurants were good. The provisions at the store were more than adequate for our needs. Eggs, butter, bread, cheese. You'll need to get fruit outside of bananas at the store in Yosemite village. Very pleasant to walk by the river. Highly recommended.

We were on a family trip, with 3 different rooms. I called and spoke with Adon, who was wonderful in arranging for our rooms to be close to each other. Very helpful.

Yosemite View Lodge is very comfortable and just five minutes from the Yosemite entrance. Highly recommend.

We are both elderly, an so the 2nd floor room wouldn't have been bad, except the elevator didn't work! I was given a 1st floor room, with 2 spas right outside our bedroom window! No "riverview" at all. The reading lamp didn't have and on/off switch, so it had to be unplugged to turn it off. The plug was behind the sofa, which had dust bunnies from the 70's! Dead cockroaches under the bed and in the bathroom. There was 1 washcloth in the bathroom. We booked two nights, but didn't stay the second night.

It was amazing. Swimming pool, riverside park...thease made my family so happy. In room kitchen was also fantastic and we can make nice foods for trip of next day.

Very clean and comfortable, only down side was the need to ask for fresh towels etc

It is fall season but the stream is still beautiful and the sound is comforting.
I like the grocery store which provides everything more than we need.
We cooked breakfast in the kitchenette and enjoyed it in the balcony by the stream.

This place is very quirky and was a fun place to stay. It was very friendly and the individual pools for each accommodation block meant you could be very sociable with your neighbours. The on-site amenities are good, laundry, shop etc had long opening hours. The rooms are dated but clean and functional. Expensive but justified by the location.

Great place to stay near Yosemite. only buffet offered for breakfast, to expensive

This is the closest lodging option to Yosemite

I have stayed in this hotel for years
It's fascinating see and listen to the river running right behind the property. Only 3 minutes from one of the gates of Yosemite National Park.
5.0
Great option if you can’t find accomodation inside Yosemite National Park. It’s close proximity to the entrance of the Park is great but will still take approximately 30 min from the entrance to get inside the park for parking, trails, etc. They have restaurant option for food as well as pizza and groceries available also and kitchen which is great
