Nice quiet place, easy for Birmingham
3.6
Hotel was very noisey.
Room across from me was running up and down the corridor shouting at all hours and banging on the door.
No consideration for other guests, the lift was broken and carrying luggage to the top floor was not ideal. Even more so as we were not made aware prior to check in, which would have been nice. Thinking about people with disabilites here who couldnt get up the stairs at all.
I wouldnt be staying here again.

Cleanliness good unfortunately I feel that it should not always be card when you purchase something. I feel it’s wrong to charge for ice One pound 50. in the lounge downstairs is very comfortable and relax for the customers.

VERY NOISY AND WINDOWS DONT SHUT PROPERLY

We booked 2 double supreme rooms, however they were on the 3rd floor and the lift was out of order which is an issue for me as I have mobility issues. They then said they would give us 2 rooms on the ground floor but they will not be superior so they will give extra facilities to make up the difference.
We didnt receive all of the extra facilities to make up for the downgrade of the rooms and we were given rooms on the 1st floor leaving me with no choice but to go up the stairs!
On top of that in our room one of the lights was not working and we had no remote!
Really disappointed with the service received and still waiting for the manager to get back to me with some sort of compensation!

Basic but very clean. Lovely bathroom (super clean)!but only 2 towels. Coffee and tea supplies also a bit stingy. Comfy bed. Pillows were hard and wifi really poor but for a budget stay it was fine.

I will highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Very good value for money. Staff were very helpful and attentive. Big appreciation for Nasir who was very kind and helpful.
3.6
Nice place lovely member of staff last night in the bar he went above and beyond to make me and my partner had a lovely night downstairs in the bar , will be back again thanks again

Lift wasn’t working, this appears to be an ongoing issue looking at reviews. Limited breakfast options.
3.6
All the staff were wonderful and made us feel very welcome. They were particularly welcoming to our little one, who was very fond of waving at everyone and chatting - and they adapted the menu for her dinner, which was very much appreciated. Thank you all so much! I was visiting with my wife and little one for an exam nearby, and the staff members made the whole experience stress-free and enjoyable.

My wife and I recently visited Birmingham and decided to lodge at HC. We enjoyed our stay and staff were very helpful.
The lift was faulty when we visited but the staff was kind enough to allow us leave our baby's buggy with them.
3.6
Lift was not working, room was clean and tidy. Car parking is limited and spaces very tight. I had to clamber across to the passenger side to access my vehicle when leaving.
3.6
Area outside property was fairly loud, and room had no fridge/ access to drinking water. Other than that everything was great!
3.6
Enjoyable stay - we weren’t there long but very convenient for the Utility arena

Very good
3.6
Good location and reasonable hotel. Lift was broken. Staff friendly and breakfast was reasonable with items renewed. Only downside was that the walls are very thin and therefore noise is an issue if you are an early sleeper.
3.6
Hotel was great. Lift was out of order which wasnt great but we managed the stair. Was our 2nd time at the hotel. The location is great and has parking.
Rooms are clean and tidy.
Would recommend

My stay was good. First time at this hotel.
3.6
Good quick check in. Friendly staff
3.6
Comfortable overnight stay in a quiet location given its proximity to the centre (30 min walk). Clean hotel with friendly staff. Second time here so says a lot.

was a decent room/hotel free car park but lifts not working - only complaint is the mirror is near the bathroom and no where to put ur makeup etc and the dressing table/chair and plugs at the other side of the room so it didn’t make sense ?? needs looking at … but wud stay again :)

It was terrible wouldn’t recommend to anyone staying here in Birmingham, the lady we spoke to was very rude and she belittled and discriminated me and my friend because of our age she wasn’t helpful when refused to let us in for not having both of our ids it would have even be a little more appreciated if she could have pointed us in the right direction for another hotel then when I enquired about a refund she said it wasn’t down to the hotel and just seemed very uninterested in helping us at all it’s a good job premier Inn was just around the corner which I looked up on Google Maps because I was 140 miles from where I live witch we also told her but she just didn’t to care

As always a good place to stay for meetings in the City -

No room service, and lift wasn't working.

Really liked this hotel, the only thing is that there wasn’t any hand towels in the bathroom.

The women at the receptionist was amazing and friendly. Defo recommend

When I usually stay here the food is not that great, but for a budget hotel it meets the needs, however their menu yesterday for their special was a Lamb Shank with creamy mashed potatoe with honey roasted carrot and it was Subline!!! This topped my experience.
I always have a restful sleep however the pillows could do with being softer, or have an option as my neck was hurting this morning and had a pressure headache as my pillows were very firm.
There is lovely staff member named Monica who is always on in the evenings when I am there and she is very warm, welcoming and very accomodating. Always happy to help. Its always a pleasure to be greated by her.

Noisy rooms from other rooms to fan in bathroom that won’t turn off
Food cheap but barely hot
Lift broken

Good clean Hotel ,with on-site free parking. looking to come back to Birmingham in March,

Reception very clean and homely atmosphere.
Hopefully they can fix satellite tv to show other channels rather than sky news .
Overall room cleanness was spot on and I certainly will be revisiting and staying here.
Recommended 10/10
Well done all .

Definitely enjoyed my stay. Really appreciated Sam’s hospitality.

Hotel was clean. Staff were nice. Food lovely. The room was too cold it was set at 18.5 degrees which at night wasn’t warm enough and there were no extra blankets in room. We asked for blankets but reception couldn’t get into the room where they were. Neither of us slept well as cold. Next day I asked again and we were given 1 extra duvet.
Our last night there were no parking spaces which is not right. I asked reception and was told to park next door in a nursery car park. It didn’t feel safe as no Cctv. That is not right when within the price is states free parking On Site. The younger man on reception that night was helpful the other one couldn’t have cared less. Won’t be recommending this hotel unfortunately.
3.6
There was a very noisy group staying on the same floor so it was quite unpleasant.
The room was too warm even though the heating was off.
3.6
The refurb of the restaurant lobby is great and the staff are as helpful as ever, especially Alicia on reception.
3.6
Only real issue was parking in the car park. There were many Autoglass vans parked in the car park even though their depot was "over the road" . Good, convenient hotel, friendly staff, will use again when I am in the area.
3.6
It was nice to be away from town center but still within walkable distance. It's right along the canal line, which is very walkable.
The beds and pillows were hard and uncomfortable.
The staff was so helpful!
3.6
Nice, clean hotel. Good value.

The hotel had no reservation for me - it took me over 1 hour to check in - I had to message and call you to get it sorted - not good enough. Ypu told me it was the hotels issue - they told me they often get reservations in the wrong names.
Sam (reception) was very helpful and ended up speaking to your team to help.
In morning found a bed bug on my covers - reported this to reception on way out - came back and they had checked the room and advised none others found - I ended up leaving and not spending the second night.
3.6
Air coming through the windows the duvet was not thick enough I felt cold from the moment I switched the heater off and the air coming through the windows did not help
3.6
Always a warm welcome nice clean rooms and straight forward stay good location
