Fantastic hotel in an ideal location, right opposite the stunning cathedral. Staff very friendly, welcoming and helpful. My room was amazingly spacious and had all the amenities I wanted.

The hotel was overfall good, the water pressure in the bathroom was horrible, but this also our only complaint

Hotel has no reception, as we arrived during the day there was a girl sitting in a small room that was kind of reception but her attitude was let’s say very uninterested. For a 4* hotel the room was horrible, I guess the room and all you have inside has stayed as it was since its opening. Stains on walls, the only chair was so dirty that we didn’t want to put anything on it. Mould around ventilation in the room. Window handle broken. Tv did not work.
Maybe there are different parts in the hotel and as we booked with a big discount we got a room that is not renovated but this hotel can’t have 4*! The only good thing was breakfast, we could at least leave with good impressions about that. And location of course is good as well.

The room had breathtaking views

My first stay on Amerton was last year. On this trip I returned to Amberton. It's reasonable priced, in the middle of city centre and has it's own, special charm. Breakfast is good.

Location was nice, but this hotel is not a 4* in the USA would be a 2* 😱

I will recomend this hotel. Very central and high quility. I didnt have the breakfast but i higfly recomend this hotel in the city centre. The only thing that i have an issue with was parking. It was occupied and I have to park the car 350 m from the hotel at G9. I paid 26 euro for 17 h.

Rooms were a little dated
Shower cubicle wasn’t very big
Very close to all sight seeing
Staff not the friendliest

The check-in experience was really bad. No parking close to the hotel so we ended up circling around the hotel for a very long time until we drop the car off at a garage far away. When we finally get to the hotel, we had not received our check-in information as informed as the number provided for help was busy. Once we finally got through we got good help by a very friendly lady but by then it had taken much toooo long. The worst check-in experience ever. Hotel pros and cons:
Cons: The rooms are quite dated but roomy. The bathroom is also quite old. The non-existing reception for checking in.
Pros: The breakfast is really good! And the location is at the center of everything. Fantastic location if you wish to explore the historic city centre.
Please provide better information for your guests about the payment of the city tax, and how to do that, in order to receive the check-in information. Would I return? Knowing how to check-in with the great location of the hotel, I probably would

Perfect hotel for our stay in Vilnius!

Location and hotel is great. View and convenience was the key for me as solo traveler. Room size is fine. Walking distance to old town and main attraction places. Transportation options are great.
It could be a downside that reception is open only 9am to 8pm.
It was not hotel's issue, more of Expedia issue- my data (ph number and email, payment) was not transfered to hotel's system therefore I did not get self check if access codes via email. Actual check i. Was rather smoothbut could have been an issue if I was checking in after reception desk working hours.
Restaurant is great, breakfast was as expected.
Great overall, definitely would stay here again.

Stayed 5 nights. Was able to get the same room for 2 bookings--one with tour group, then extra night on our own. The restaurant and its workers were nice and the outdoor patio is lovely. The Cathedral Square is literally across the street, so you are well positioned to view and visit this amazing city. The parking at this hotel is awful! The underground garage has 8 spaces but absolutely No room to maneuvre the car into and out of the space. It was also 30 Euros per night, which seems very high. The reception staff were all young locals and all seemed to have an attitude. One young man even seemed gleeful when I initially asked about getting a parking space and he said 'it's all full!' with a big smile on his face! I did communicate with the hotel several times through hotels.com and they were good about responding quickly, so if you want to use their parking services, best to arrange this well in advance! Our room was not serviced at all during our stay, and 1 of the elevators was not functioning. The hotel was full, so there was a lot of waiting for the 1 working elevator.

The hotel was okey. Big room and with air conditioner. It didnt get too cold at night, even if we had it on max cold. The bed was two single beds put together, with a double overmadrass but we did get a gap because the madrass on of the beds moved all the time. The cleaning was good there, and there was a small fridge in the room. The doors have codes on it, so we didnt had to use key card, which was super practical. Very good location. Close to a big square, a street with shops and a lot of coffe places, and close to the big park and the "tourist" street with restaurants and cafe's.

Great Location. Breakfast was expensive for what you got. Lots of coffee shops around to have something different. The pillows were flat and not enough of them. Didn’t ask for additional pillows as it seemed no one around to speak to, to ask. Other than that the rooms were spacious and clean.

Musty rooms , poor A/C
Beds were not comfortable
0.5 / 5.0
Staff was very abrupt and verging on outright rude on checking in, air conditioning set at 23.5c and could not be changed, room was hot, no windows to open, filthy carpet and refrigerator, bed was very low and only 2 small pillows. Could not wait to leave the hotel and ended up checking out early and skipping the 2nd breakfast we had already paid for as it was also horrible.

Very nice, affordable hotel. Profound minibar selection. Code system for anytime check-in and access works perfectly. Amazing breakfast! I explicitly recommend staying there!

Low bed and the mattress is thin
The towels are worn out like in hostel
The a/c does not keep the temperature lower than 23.5’ C
Smell in the room
No a/c in the elevators, no even fan

Room service only on request, and then only bed made. No vacuum, fridge not filled up in a whole week, laundty bag not picked up for two days even after request, very dusty bed frame. Infodesk staff spoke hardly English and didnt have basic info.

It was a great stay, thanks to all the staff!

Didn't like the check-in. Took ages to check in. The only hotel we stopped at on our explore holiday that wanted credit card and passport details. We had booked an additional night at same hotel after our organised group tour. I was told we could have same room, but we were then locked out on second day. We were given a new code after we paid tax, this could have all been sorted on original check-in.
Our room wasn't cleaned or towels refreshed.
Entering code into room door was tricky as the lights were on motion sensors in the halls and the light went out before the code could be entered. Breakfast was very good.

Overall, the stay was very good. Perfect location, clean rooms, wonderful breakfast. However, the contact-less check in and check-out experience was not that perfect, especially, when checking in and out outside of the normal working hours. The idea of a reception free hotel is nice, but the execution had it's flaws.

Hotel is in a good location and easy to get to, This is advertised as a 4 star hotel which I would disagree with. Hotel is clean but rooms are old wooden furnature and in need of updating. Bed was not comfortable and a small pillow. No room cleaning during our 3 night stay. Now here is the best bit, I get home to 129 euros being taken out of my account for mini bar usage,we never touched the minibar. Shocking error on behalf of this hotel. Im in the process of contacting the management awaiting for the response. Meanwhile im stuck with a large bill. If you stay here I hope you do not recieve the same treatment we did, what a let down to the great time in Vilnius by a so called 4 star hotel. I will never return or recommend it.

I stayed here four nights. It’s clear they are having staffing and maybe cash flow issues. There’s no one to help you after 8pm. I could not get hot water in shower to work - turned out I was doing it wrong because no water is supposed to come out if you only turn on the hot side. I could tell the staff had explained this a thousand times. Maintenance was grumpy. No mattress pad which I found icky and odd. The restaurant has a fantastic breakfast well worth the price. The menu rest of the day is limited but there are lots of options around. Excellent location.

Very good location and the price was cheap for our stay. Large size of rooms and shower. Clean and nice hotel in perfect location, around a lot of restaurants, visiting places and shops. We liked that you need tu use password to unlock the doors of the room, so you dont need any card or key to carry with you. Definitely recommend for others :)

Only thing is the window on the centrium is on the elevator, no natural light and not possible to open.

One times, never again. 1. Terrible noisy room. You hear every toilette flushs from the upper floor rooms. You cant sleep in the evening and morning. 2. Hotel parking 30 Euros per night. 3. Parking at the street very expensive. Never book this hotel by arriving with a car. 4. No reception. Everything self service. 5. Info desk three young women. Not interested about guests, not very helpful. 6. Sagging mattresses and a shared double blanket in the double bed. No separate blanket for each person. 7. Noisy suuroundings. Lot of traffic, motorcyles and cars, also during the night.

Amzing had a great nights sleep

Clogged drains in the shower causing water over both bathroom and room. Had to clean up and only got some new towels. No evening/night staff making it perfect for homeless drunks to sleep in the lobby.

In general nothing i can say about the room. It was descent and if you think the price and the location it s fine. Just the hotel cannot be considered as a 4 star property without having proper staff and reception. We arrived at night and we had never received the self check in instructions as it was supposed to be. So we had to try to call the central call center at 3 am waiting outside of the hotel with a 5 month baby. After some time they told us on this line that we couldn t receive the instructions cause the government tax was not paid.although we already pre paid the whole night rate on expedia. Also very cheap amenities for 4 star

Nice place and clean
2.0 / 5.0
Globally good. 4/5
+: •The customer service is reactive and is always here for us even in the night.(cf: the first - point)
• Well placed in the old town. Proximity with all the things to see
• Well isolated
• Scooter available for free (you have to ask the desk for the code) but the autonomy isn't too high.
• Toilet,bathroom,bedroom are clean.
-:•My air conditioner didn't work well, it was always on 25°C so I didn't sleep well the first night and the second night I've told them and they tried to manage me with the air conditioner screen, but it wasn't working so they gave me an other room for my last night. The air conditioner didn't work as well but I had the poasibility to open the window in this room so I slept better. (Special mention to the customer service for their quickly response and solution)
• I think the bathrooms need to be refreshed (joints) but it was acceptable.
• Some stains on the walls and carpets
But the rate quality-price is pretty good.
I didn't try de breakfast but there was always a lot of people in the reataurant, I will try the next time.

Hotel didn’t send check in instructions till 10pm. There is no one at the front desk after 6pm, so you are out of luck if you arrive at a later time. To get to your room one has to navigate a maze of passages through the building. Room windows face a hallway. It’s quiet but feels stuffy. No AC. Room was clean with a decent bed. Wouldn’t stay here if it’s more than just one night.

Amazing. Fantastic. Super efficient, useful, clean. Has everything that you need. I was a solo traveler from Melbourne, Australia. Found a deal online, it was super affordable. And the location is perfect. In the centre of Vilnius and close/walking distance to everything. Everyone around is friendly and speaks English. I’m very glad I chose Amberton hotel. Highly recommended.
