Excellent location, walking distance too lots of beautiful sites and excellent restaurants. The area may be busy for some, for me it was part of the appeal…. No car park, but several in the area and a short walk away. I would definitely stay here again

Property is in a great location. A 1 minute walk to the Port and metro station, with lots of different dining options. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and made check in very easy. Rooms were clean and updated.

Loved the location and friendly helpful staff

Very nice clean room, nice toiletries and great location. We would have liked a kettle and coffee in the room and We found some of the staff very rude and unhelpful.

Fine for a short stay. In the heart of the Old Port, close to bars and restaurants. Negatives were the sewage smell from the bathroom overnight and no kettle for tea/coffee.

Location, Staff, breakfast, location, comfortable bed, great staff, good breakfast, walk to cafe n restaurants, next to cruise boats, noisy port packed with tourists n music n vendors

The Oceania in Marseille is exceptionally well located. Right on the Old Port. It is an old building with beautiful stairwells and architecture outside of the room, but the actual room is nicely updated and fairly large for Europe. Immediately outside of the hotel was a bar where we could sit and sip drinks and watch the fascinating world of Marseille walk by until late in the evening. My husband who is allergic to mold and dustmites was very comfortable in the room. We even had a quaint little balcony with a side view of the port. The breakfast was lovely. The staff was also very kind about letting us leave our luggage after checking out. I would certainly recommend this place, and hope to stay there if I have the opportunity to visit Marseille again.

Great view of the port

Room was immaculate and a good size. No amenities in room but tea kettle and coffee stuff. No iron. No mini fridge. When I asked for ice reception told me to go to the bar on the corner!!! A real sleazy bar out front. Unsavory characters there. So no place to sit outside. No roof area. No place in hotel. When I asked about a fridge I was told to use a group fridge on second floor shared by all guests. There was no view of harbor unless you stood sideways on tiny balcony and looked left! There are zero facilities at hotel. 2 chairs in teeny lobby. Zilch. We arrived at 11. Were told room not ready until 3. No place to wait!! But they took luggage and put valuables in safe. Checkout: I asked for late. Of course answer was NO! That it was 50 euros an hour after 12 pm!!! Then there was construction drilling at 8 am right bellows at metro. A ripoff at 450 euros. I am not happy

Good breakfast. Liked our little balcony overlooking the street.

In the heart of the old port, it was so easy for me to get anywhere and everywhere in the city! Hotel staff is super nice and they speak English! There is also a breakfast option, which I thought was lovely! If you are getting an Uber/car here know it’s on a pedestrian only street, so you’ll need to walk a little! It was lovely and clean and I would stay here again !

Excellent place to stay while in port view.

The hotel location was great, right by the old port. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was great but smelled of drains (like some of Marseille). The hotel itself has seen better days, staircase partially not cleaned but the room itself couldn’t be faulted and was super clean. Very powerful aircon.

This location was amazing! It was close to everything. The inside of the hotel was clean and organized. We asked for towels and more pillows. The only thing a bit disappointing was the toilet was in a separate room and the room itself was gross, walls looked filthy. The front desk staff was not always friendly but the service staff was outstanding!

Easy access to ferries, buses and seafood, yet quiet inside room.

Such a wonderful stay! Great view of the marina and great access to everything!

The location was fantastic! The staff were extremely considerate and helpful. I highly recommend the location ; despite being in the center of old port, the room was pretty quiet at night.

The location is great, if you want to feel like part of Marseille. Right on the port, walkable to a ton of stuff. I loved that. It can be a bit noisy from traffic late - didn't bother me at all, but might bother some. Staff was very good. About 1 km from the train station - very walkable.

The hotel room was nice and the bed was comfortable. The hotel was very conveniently located right on the old port. It is a noisy area, though. The breakfast was excellent. I would stay here again.

Best location with most major attractions in walking distance! Staff are very friendly and helpful, just all we need to staying that park of Marseille!
We didn’t use hotels restaurants since all the restaurants in Vieux Port are available with variety of options! The best locations for the price. Highly recommended!

Great location to sites and harbor. The hotel room looked over the street with a small balcony to see the harbor. Small elevator....but effective for guests. The front desk was friendly and helpful with directions.

Great location, lovely view from balcony of superior room on 5th floor. Extremely friendly staff on reception.

Staff wasn't very friendly but the room was very nice

Convenient hotel within walking distance of everything you might want to see and do. Comfortable and clean,it does get noisy as the day progresses because it’s in a location where there’s a lot of activity.
Metro is right outside the door!

Very bad service for the high price. I asked them to check for some clothes I forgot and they never checked because “people at reception can’t leave their desk and they have no one to go and check”. They responded two days later that they couldn’t find them. Amenities are really bad as well: wifi was terrible
