The property was quiet, clean and the staff was overall friendly and helpful. There wasn't much activities to do while there, but to their credit this was due to the hurricane that had recently passed and affected that part of the island. Stayed only for 3 nights so it was ok for that time.

Loved the beach, the food was great compared to other resorts there. Crossing the street unsafe and only 1 guard would stop traffic the others sat there. Getting a drink or service at the restaurant was not a main priority a few times it took over an hour for the server to come over. No times were given of when the restaurants were open. Couldn't get anything to eat after 9pm until 8am when breakfast opened. No drinks after midnight until breakfast. Will not be staying at this resort again.

Everthing is OLD. The place is in bad need of repair. Room cleaning was not up to standards and towels were scarce. The smells around the area and creatures were very bad. Definitely a place for someone who can overlook everything.

Was unable to stay at this resort because they were not equipped with the amenities to for my accommodation even after they confirmed with expedia saying everything was fine. My finance got there before me, went to the establishment for information and the receptionist was rude and unresponsive. All she stated is they have no water and limited electricity. We had nowhere to stay and so we had to book another hotel, costing double what I paid. Now they are giving me a run around to refund my payment. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone.

Cesar and Micheal are a great asset to the property! Nice workers and very friendly. I would highly recommend to all my friends and family. Limited buffet menu options but good Jamaican food. Looking forward to my next trip here.

customer service is not their thing. front desk manager was not very welcoming. AC went out and had to hound someone down to get support. Wash cloths were not provided so we we washed with our hands the first night. (yuck) When I asked about wash clothes, the constant run around was they have to ask a supervisor. the bedding was definitely from the 80’s and very itchy. lots of bugs in the rooms. they can do better by upgrading the bedding and spraying throughout for insects.

This is my second time at the property and I really enjoyed the convenience of getting to the beach. Caesar security is very helpful as usual. The beach is the prettiest beach I’ve ever ever seen in my life. I will be returning every year.

The property itself was clean; the staff reasonably pleasant. However their administrative efficiency is terrible. On booking I made a deposit but when I attempted to pay the balance the said I had to pay in full but would be refunded the deposit. Still waiting for the refund one week later

The only staff at the resort i will give 5 stars to is the security guard Cesar. As for the resort: I paid for the all inclusive meal and drink plan. You can’t get anything to eat or drink after 9p. They will only let you order one meal, you can’t eat again. The food was edible. Nothing to go home bragging about. The drinks were TERRIBLE! They do not have any Champaign for mimosas. Bring your own liquor. They also close the beach at 9p. You can’t even get any water to drink after 9p. Even on the weekend! We had to leave the resort for water at Night. We had to keep asking for wash clothes, which took so long to come, we just washed with soap. The wait staff was rude. Marie the bartender was good. The place should be upgraded. You are given a physical key for your room. The air conditioner in our room was not cold. We did complain. Nothing was done. It was my first and last time ever going to Legends. I’m use to 5 star resorts and treatment. You don’t even get a welcome drink. WATER IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE ALL INCLUSIVE!!! You MUST PAY $2 for a small bottle of water. SMH

The beach and the sea is amazing but the staff was not friendly and sometimes rude. The food was not good and limited. It doesn't deserve the all inclusive price we paid. Also was not included in all inclusive the water ($2 the small bottle). There were no snacks. Also for the room no fridge, hairdryer, and coffee machine. You had to wait until 7 am for a cup ( it was the time the bar was opening the doors)

Our stay was amazing! We had our 3 kids and they absolutely loved it! Right on the beach, security, felt safe and the staff makes you feel right at home! This was our second time to Legends and cant wait to return!!

We enjoyed the garden side room with double beds and near the pool. It wasn’t our reserved room and they moved us two days later, compensated us with two complimentary breakfasts. When they did move us, we asked to stay in that room because it was in the quieter side, ground level and we had enjoyed staying over there. They moved us to a room on the 2nd floor (I have a bad knee and with water and slippery steps felt uncomfortable going up and down) when I brought this to the attention of the front desk, they didn’t seem to care and said but you paid more for the upgrade. It didn’t feel like an ungrade, one large bed, closer to the other resort that was loud and lot more people, we were not comfortable on the beach due to no lounge chairs being available and very hot sun with very little shade. Would have preferred to be across the street with the large pool. The person out front selling jerk chicken took advantage of us by charging 50,000 Jamaican dollars for two pieces of chicken. Disgusting. It tasted rubbery and wasn’t good either. I know or do not believe he was part of the resort but I was very offended with the price. We agreed $10.00 then he showed me chicken, then said it’s $20 for 1/2. Chicken and then gave us two and said $50, actually reached into husbands wallet and took the money out????

Legends is about 1 mile from town and a shopping center across the street. It's like Cheers where they remember you. It is a modest resort but everything is clean and everyone is friendly. We have been coming for more than 10 years and are already booked for next year. It's a hidden gem. We also recognize fellow guests from year to year. It is safe and we've never felt threatened as long as you're smart about what you do. Don't go down dark alleys at night looking for trouble, just like when you are back home. There is a free shuttle to the sister hotel on the cliffs and it's a different vibe but I would recommend visiting there too. We love the beach so that's where we hang out. Lots of good local restaurants near by or eat at the resort. Small buffet but you can always find something to eat since there is a menu too. It's our home away from home.

This hotel is in need of a major restoration. Rooms are musty and the decor is from the 80’s . The rooms are clean, interms of sheets , no dust but the furniture and bedding is archaic which just made the room feel dirty . Location is great as you are on the 7 mile beach stretch and the pool across the street is pleasant.
