I like that it came with free parking and breakfast at the close-by cafe. I didn't, though, see beach towels that were supposed to be provided. I never saw any staff. Everything was done by text. We got there and the door was locked with nobody manning the registration. The "code" to get into the building was upstairs in our room. It would have been nice to have the access code on the paperwork we were sent so we didn't have to wait for a guest to come to the door and say, "I'm not sure I'm supposed to let you in."

Nice selection for breakfast. Rooms are comfortable. Nice for a lil weekend getaway. Close to Tropicana, the beach and downtown shopping (less than 8 minutes away). Safe area and quiet.

John, the owner can’t do enough for you. Coffee and bottled water is always available. Ice, cups and glasses for wine are clean and plenty. Nice restaurants in walking distance. Breakfast is always hot and fresh. You can see the ocean from the dining room.

This is a charming and lovely B&B in an older but updated building in Ventnor, NJ less than 1 block from the boardwalk. The people who run the place are friendly and accomodating and the breakfast was quite good. A few words of caution: there are stairs to get in and to climb to higher floors. The bathrooms have been updated but are small and my room was not large but others are larger. On the plus side, there are several good places to eat and a Wawa, all within 2 blocks. Finally, the parking lot is a block away.

I have been coming to this bed-and-breakfast for 20 years now and I can’t say enough good things about it. The location is amazing. Everything is right around the corner. Lots of restaurants, drug stores, food stores, etc.. The beach and boardwalk are right there as soon as you walk out the front door, for a nice morning walk and a day at the beach. 😊 The place is always clean. The staff always makes us feel like we are in our own homes, always meeting all our needs. The little cafe for a free breakfast has incredible food, and a lunch and dinner if you want something close. I can’t say enough good things about John, who always gets back to me as soon as possible with any needs that we have. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Stayed in basis room with queen. Very small room and bathroom near bed which is a little too close for me. If I stayed here again I would pay for an upgrade. Breakfast was outside 2min walk. Very good and full breakfast.

I wasn’t sure the property had the restroom out the rooms. Me and wife had to hop outside every time we wanted to bathe or use the restroom. I am not sure if this was let know you is in advance. The locks were too old that we had to spend two minutes struggling to open it every time. The elevators weren’t present and the parking was far away. Expedia should make sure these explicitly mentioned on the property info. This kinda ruined the fun of the vacation for me

My wife and I were celebrating our 18th wedding anniversary and we wanted to pick somewhere new that wasn’t a large hotel chain. We decided to go with this location and we were pleasantly surprised. The room was very clean and bright with windows surrounding. The location was excellent and the area was safe. The free breakfast was amazing. Although we only stayed for a night my wife and I both agreed that we will be staying here again. Very highly recommended

Though they had Wi-Fi my iPad wouldn’t connect to it because it’s security level was too low! The room and house were old and very quaint. It’s our second time there. The breakfast was awesome but it was served a few doors away in a nice diner/ice cream shop. Same owner or a special agreement? It works if the weather is nice. The boardwalk and beach are just 1/2 a block away and very nice.

Sarah, the host was amazing. She answered all of my concerns and made me feel very welcomed. She wasn't in when I checked out however I called the property and asked that they please thank her for me. Way to go Sarah. My boss stays here 1* per year. I think I'm about to start doing the same. So cozy and homelike.

Lovely! Clean as a whistle, and owner/cook Agnes couldn't have been more warm and welcoming, in addition to being an excellent cook! She made us a delicious breakfast, and chatted with us for awhile. Can't wait to go back in warmer weather to take advantage of the lovely porch with ocean views. Thanks again, Agnes

It was ok. Pretty weird when I got there the morning of my check in the door was locked so I called John the owner and asked where I can get a beach badge and he told me check in isn’t until 330 and they won’t check for badges on the beach. Im not sure why he couldn’t explain to me where i could pick one up. Instead, I got to the beach and was immediately approached about needing a badge. The room I had for $250 a night was smaller than my closet. Parking was not easy. The beach was nice. I’d look somewhere else for the amount of money this place is.

This is my third time staying at the Inn, and the first time at the main property vs being across the street. The room itself was great and I really enjoyed the small balcony attached. My only criticism was that they used to serve a sit down breakfast in the inn. Now that they have a cafe, and with Covid, you need to pick up food to-go. I hope they go back to serving food in the inn after the pandemic. Also, the pillows in the room really needed replacement.

The staff was great. The location is exceptional. Just steps fro mthe boardwalk and beach. Included breakfast at the cafe on the corner was a treat. The rooms are well appointed with the exception of the carpets which are in need of replacement. Comfy cherry four poster bed. New bathroon with nice tile and stone. Hallways are a bit dingy and run down. All in all if the carpet was in better condition, this would get an exceptional rating from us.

It was a decent stay. The room was small but fine for two people. I would say the pictures of the rooms are a little deceiving but overall I had no problems and a pleasant stay.

Downside: We were placed in a room in The Cottage. Found the room to be unchanged since the 70’s. Kitchen had rusty dirty appliances ( stove) cracked counter top, dirty finger marks all over all the doors. The futon was so old you sunk into the couch and had trouble sitting up. I thought I was in a camp bunk, but paid over 200 a night for the room. The owner didn’t leave us toilet paper. We were given two towels, no wash cloths. Basically the room was a disappointment . Perhaps if you took a room in the main house across the street the rooms were nicer. This room was just ridiculous to be charged for. Upside: the place is 1/2 block from a beautiful beach and boardwalk. Cafe served a good breakfast in a socially distanced take away box. Free ice cream in the afternoon. Owner was pleasant and tried to be helpful.
