A really good location with the underground only 200m from the hotel. Very friendly check in, most helpful for stranger to the city.
Nice room, and very quiet.
Really nice for the four days we were there.

Room looked nothing like the pictures. Damp mouldy and dark with very outdated features. Just good location

Ok. I'm not one to knock hotels and lodgings but, with this one i will make an exception.
The hotel is not in the nicest bit of town. It had some homeless and other dubious characters hanging around.
The hotel itself is in need of an upgrade. Personally I'd pull it down and start again. The rooms are dark with the strangest lighting set up I've seen in years. The bathroom stank. The towels were grubby. One light above the sink. The beds were ok but the pillows should have been condemned to the bin years ago.
Having said that, it's not the worst hotel I've stayed in. The staff were nice and there is a Carrefour supermarket really close which has most stuff.
I only stayed here due to there being a couple of events which had taken up the hotels which i would usually stay in. Never again! Avoid if you can.

Around the hotel it's not very clean ...

It's a good value holiday apartment hotel. You get what you pay for if you choose a classic studio. Nothing fancy but everything is functional. The staff is friendly and reactive i.e. I got my mattress changed on the second night because mine was caving in. However, they take 100 euros deposit for the booking unlike other places I've been to in Marseille and for what's in the apartment, I don't find it useful or necessary. Soundproofing is not great so don't expect a quiet lie-in if you like to stay in bed late. Best suited to people planning to be out most day and wanting a base to eat and sleep.

I have not been refunded for my deposit yet. Do not trust this hotel.
3.8
Bathroom, kitchen are in poor conditions. Too expensive for the quality inside.

It was my second stay at this Hotel.
Great area to stay in Marseille, near the metro and easy access to the beach and the Port.
Very nice Studio.

The location is good, walkable distance from turists spots, and team is very attentive.
On another side, there is lack of cleanliness, maintenance of the flat items such as drains, mattres and sofa. It is basically, everything that you expect to be working when you are looking for a hotel, right?
There was also a very bad sound insulation.

ResidHotel Prado is a good budget option. I’ve stayed here several times. The beds are a little tired but I like the fact that the rooms have kitchenettes, bathrooms are renovated nicely with great water pressure for the showers. I enjoy it’s location, it’s secure, the neighborhood is safe with several public transit options to get around the city and bus connection to all of the beaches, and it’s a quieter option than staying in the center which is easy to get to on foot, tram or metro.

I liked the ease of check-in; the staff were not intrusive in any way, but were always on hand if needed. I did not need any help until I was checking-out, when the reception staff kindly telephoned for a taxi for me to the airport. They even refunded my deposit, without even checking the room! The cleaner had not even been in since 4 days previously! (as agreed.).

The building looked nice compared to the rest of the neighborhood. I'm not sure whether I'd recommend the area if you intend to walk around.
3.8
I liked all except that air conditioning was stopped

Most reasonable price paid for accommodation near a stadium on game day

The price for a room is way too high considering other places first of all! Cleaniness and condition of this hotel is super low! Pictures look fine, but inside...wallways are not cleaned, not vaccumed for a long time. Rooms inside are slightly cleaned. Had to use my own wipes in some areas. Had 2 different rooms. Booth were horrible and not properly cleaned. Broken glass. Not working outlet. Missing electrical kettle. Broken slide doors in a closet in both rooms.
Told to people at the reception, they don't care and don't fix things!!!
Stains in many places. Just to sit in a sofa, had to place some towels over it-just dirty! Some mucus or whatever on the bathroom doors. JUST DISGUSTING !!!
Also, in the room it was a little kitchen. So, if you don't WASH DISHES AFTER YOURSELF they will charge 50 euros for that!!! Crazy?!. And you have to empty a garbage bin too! It is not a joke. They will tell you this and a little note in a room can state that. NONSENSE! Maybe, your stay should be free completely? Because they don't clean their property inside and out well, make you to clean after yourself, and even to dispose your own garbage... WHAT KINDA HOTEL DOES THAT?

Alex at the front desk was very helpful accommodating us every time we had an issue. The first day the hotel was dirty and falling apart, the next day we left early in the morning to check the area and when we came back in the evening around 2000 we came to a flooded room and part of our luggage wet.

Great location - friendly staff. Basic but everything to hand.

The property was adequate for my visit, although relatively speaking, pretty expensive. I booked last minute for a rugby world cup match, so expected a hike in price but maybe not as much. All in all, not a bad experience, Marseilles is a lovely city.

Rooms are nowhere near what is advertised on their website. Basic hotel and was fit for our use but wouldn't stay here again as the whole hotel needs a complete revamp. Breakfast was good with plenty of options

Good location, friendly staff, sound insulation quite good, not a beautiful building but who cares?

The concept is fine - an entry-level aparthotel for short or long-term stays - but the execution is poor.
Firstly, the positives. It's close to a metro stop, the bed was comfortable, the bed linen clean, the kitchen area reasonably equipped, the appliances and air conditioning worked and the things that really needed to be clean (fridge, sink, toilet...) were reasonably clean and there is a 24-hour reception with friendly staff.
However... I arrived at the room late to find the light switch produced no light and had to hunt out another, working, light with my phone torch. The only way to open the wardrobe doors was to lift them off their track - revealing an inoperative room safe. A bath mat hung over the rusty gash in the enamel of the bathtub (missing a plug). The taps were not thermostatic and the minutest adjustment of the shower turned it from scalding to freezing. What appeared to be an electrical socket next to the bed had bare metal pins sticking out of it. The only other socket (for phone or laptop) was a long way from either the bed or the desk. Cleaning was superficial - the edges of the floor contained hairs and small items of rubbish. Liquid of some sort had run down the bathroom and toilet doors but never wiped clean. The veranda overlooked a busy street and still had the discarded cigarette from a previous guest. The patio doors reduced but did not eliminate the street noise, particularly the 6am refuse collection.

Really nice apartment very close to the metro. Great if you're not after going out partying (or don't mind an Uber back)
3.8
It is not like in the pictures you see on expedia

We were trapped in our room for a hour. The door would not open, the front desk number did not work ( no phones in room) and had to call police for help. A very stressful time which ended with no help from hotel who continued to repeat that telephone number was working even though we called whilst at reception to show this was not the case.

with the hot summer weather, I was looking forward to a hotel room that supposed to have air conditioning. It did not work at all, and was barely a fan. You could not open the windows because of the traffic noise and city smell. There were homeless people all around the entrance, which made me feel very unsafe, so I would not recommend this place for anybody, except for possibly poor college students.
3.8
The pictures should be classified as false advertising. They do not care about the guest whatsoever. Their only priority is to get your money and to send you on your way. None of the staff are on the same page, and what they advertise online compared to what you get should be a crime. Please don’t stay here, it is not worth a dime.
3.8
The room was clean but the lobby and elevator where hideous
3.8
- The room had an horrible smell of smoke.
- They had no more room with large bed and had to give me single bed.
- But refused to transfer me on next day to a room with large bed (and no smoke smell)
- The tv doesn’t work properly.
- The room furniture / bathroom / kitchen are outdated since 80’s and never renovated.
- Hallway (at least on 3rd floor) : disgusting carpet and walls peint should be refreshed.
3.8
The pictures on the website are not resembling the conditions of the actual room. Everything in room was cricket lamps, and bedside tables. In bathroom there is a mould on the tiles. Room had a foul smell in the air which was unbareble and the balcony window was only opening slightly as the bed is on the way of fully opening the door.
In the advertisement there is mentioning of the air con but this is faulty statment as until 1 July apparently hotels are not allowed to use the air con. (air con device was, really old)
The night reception staff was very unfriendly.
The only good experiance was with the Manager of the hotel that was very polite and helpful, and managed to find the solution for us.
Do not recommend this hotel.
I have booked this for a budget stay but this is not even meet this criteria
