Located South of Downtown Palm Springs on Highway 111
Clean room/bathroom
Had 2nd floor room.
Mattress felt soft.
However, I was able to have a good night's sleep.
The shower stall is somewhat cramped even for an average size person.
Something to keep in mind
Overall, it is a good location.

Room keys didn’t work every time left had to either leave rooms door cracked open or go to front desk to have someone open for me. Other then that would of been beautiful also wasn’t so clean

Horrible, the people next to both rooms made a lot of noise and there was no one at reception who could help me, I barely slept and had taken the hotel just to be able to rest a little, I had driven a lot.

Old property with poor maintenance. Grouchy staff.

The staff was very nice, but the hotel itself was very dirty. I’ll never understand why they put hardwood floors in a hotel room. Just out of the shower and walking around barefoot my feet were black 10 minutes later. The beds were lumpy and I was stabbed by springs. The location was not great either. The walls are very thin. There was no mini fridge nor a microwave which I’m still unclear if it was even supposed to have.
It’s a two star hotel. Don’t expect too much.
Motel 6 has seriously gone down the drain.

Thee first room we were given was ground floor with a connecting door (locked) that reeked of cigarette smoke despite clear labelling as a non smoking room as were all rooms we saw. On notification to office we were given an upstairs room with no connecting door that was much better but still faintly smelled of stale smoke. Indeed it seemed most of the property did. Pillows in both rooms were quite lumpy as well as extra one given upon request. The experience was not pleasant but endurable for the 3 nights of the trip. The staff was accommodating and polite when we reached out but issues were not really in their control. This seems to be the less desirable Motel 6 in Palm Springs. Location was VERY convenient for restaurants and downtown activities.

Exactly what you would expect from Motel 6. Room was clean but worn. Room smelled of smoke (Non Smoking Room). Upon checkin, 2:55pm (Checkin time is 3), I was told there were NO rooms available yet. The attendant said it would be at least 30 minutes. I waited in my car 30min. then went back inside seeing other guest coming out with keys and parking passes. It would have been nice to receive a phone call or text letting me know a room was available. The attendant (different person now) said she had only 1 room available. Luckily it was the type I had reserved. The hotel is conveniently located to Palm Springs and Cathedral City.

My stay in Room 211 was very uncomfortable, tons of homeless crackheads sleeping under the stairwells and hanging around property all hours of the day and night. Room was not ready at check-in time of 3:00. Room was not ready until 4:30. Extra toilet paper roll had blood and bleach on it from crackheads cleaning their needles. This is a serious biohazard!! Room was very dirty with dirt in every corner, floor was filthy with puddles of water upon arrival, curtains had snot and were very thin with light shining through. Toilet seat was broken. Cat litter under bathroom sink. Walkways were filthy. Smudges everywhere on walls. Sheets appeared to not be clean, found dog paw prints and blood spots on sheets. Will never stay at this property again. Was there for a large event at Caliente Tropics. Advised friends at event not to stay there, very unsafe. Police chase through parking lot, cars hit. Front desk did not take vehicle info upon check-in and did not notify occupants their cars were hit. This hotel should not hand out vouchers to the homeless. This is a one star hotel at best and certainly NOT at over $100 per night. Very disappointed in Motel 6. Will never stay here again, very unsafe and dangerous. Not enough room to share all pictures taken.

Started with reservations & notes via hotels.com, for first floor, with refrigerator unit (i know the location only has limited # of rooms with fridge).... got to location... they had me setup on second floor (nope) they couldnt find notes from hotel.com of my Requests...then finally get to room (first floor, finally after a few talks).. no phone, no clock, no kleenex, never could figure out how to work the Direct TV unit (so no tv)..lucky i brought my tablet.... ive stayed this location multi times, never had this many issues... sad at the rates they are charging, for just bed & shower...Motel6 needs to review this property.

Check-in was confusing and staff was rude. I felt unsafe walking to my room, as someone was harassing me and telling me of a person who died on the property one hour earlier. The people in the room next to me were fighting all night. There were stains on my sheets that looked like blood and a weird substance stuck to my table. My keycard failed to work 3 times and I had to walk to the lobby, wait in line and complain each time in order for it to get reset. The night manager told me to “stop putting the keycard near my phone.” I’ve never had a worse experience at a Motel 6.

I called the day before to request a ground floor room. I was told I need to get there as close to 3 PM as possible on check-in day because they could not guarantee a ground floor room and the hotel was full. I arrived at 3:20 PM and was assigned a ground floor room that I requested. From here is where it got worse. The room was infested with cockroaches. At first I saw one on the bed and I killed it. The following day, I found the cockroaches on the wall, the floor, the bathroom, and on top of the table. I advise the front desk when I left of how bad it was. The young lady apologized and said she noted it in the computer. She asked why I did not come to get a new room. I was told the day before that the hotel was full. I wish there was a way to attach photos or videos that I took of the room showing the cockroaches.

Extremely Disappointing Experience - Stay Away!
I recently stayed at the Motel 6 in Palm Springs for two nights, and both nights were absolutely dramatic. The room was dirty, the bed was uncomfortable, and the bathroom was downright disgusting. My friend and I, both grown men, did not feel safe at all during our stay.
Throughout both nights, we heard people screaming and fighting. It was clear that some of the guests were not there for a short stay; it appeared that people were living at the motel, engaging in suspicious activities at all hours. The presence of itinerant individuals around the property only added to the sense of unease.
I’ve stayed at other Motel 6 locations in California, and none have been as bad as this one. This place is not just below standard—it’s a safety hazard. I strongly recommend finding another place to stay.

Room was super small. Bed was soft but sqeaky and bouncy. No shampoo or conditioner just bar soap. Could not sleep. Person upstairs was stomping around maybe moving furniture all night til about 3 a.m. check in was quick. A few dead roaches on the floor. But it was cheap for a night.

All the employees there are really great. Manuel at the front desk is a real asset to the company. I felt safe there as they do have security and the property was quiet except for one Saturday night when people are being kind of loud.
