It is a great place to stay. We love retro spaces and this is great! Lots of space, nice amenities and great views. Also a great outdoor area with a fire!
Apparently they have a clientele that returns year after year because they all knew each other.
We would go back any time.

The hosts were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Homemade pastries were delivered in the evening for our breakfast enjoyment. The beds are firm and bedding comfortable. Our only suggesting would be to update the lighting in the room and bathrooms.

Nice clean room and friendly staff

Room was spacious and clean except for the musty air or something which exacerbated my sons asthma, so we didn’t get much sleep. Pull out bed in the couch feels like you are sleeping on springs. “Breakfast” consists of chocolate chip muffins and banana bread.
6.0
Outdated and uncomfortable.

Banana bread is delicious however if can have a breakfast area for us to grab some pastries to go will be nice instead brown bag before the next days.

Owners were friendly and willing to help. Muffins in room each day. Location is ideal to Camden. Outdoor space is great. Room is very dated. The room was very very musty! Running AC and opening windows did not help. Our clothes carried the oder after leaving.

The hotel has a lovely view, friendly staff

When I booked this stay, the Mount Battie was advertised as a b and b complete with a breakfast. It is not a b and b. It is a motel that is not set back so you can hear all the road traffic. One of the blinds (we had booked two rooms) did not close. We had to close the slats one by one. In my opinion, they should not list themselves as a b and b. It was disappointing to stay there when I thought I was getting a b and b.

I appreciated the location of the property in that it was convenient in between Camden and Belfast.
Room was clean and safe, easy parking and homemade baked good for breakfast. The property was beautiful to wake up to and enjoy my coffee with a view of the Penobscot Bay. Thank you Ed and Chris!

The owners of this Inn are very nice and accommodating. The rooms and beds are very comfortable. The grounds are lovely and there is a nice view of the water. Fresh, homemade breads were delivered to our room in the evening for breakfast in the morning. It was a nice change from the big box hotels! We would stay here again!

This is a very friendly and well run Motel type in that has everything you need for a safe and comfortable stay. it's clean and located between Belfast and Camden. we would definitely stay there again.

The hotel was clean and comfortable although a little outdated. The musty smell in the room was a bit overpowering. I thought it might clear up as we had the air conditioning running but it just never went away. We did enjoy sitting on the front porch and looking across the road at the water. If I visited this area again I would probably try a different hotel/motel.

Clean, beds were comfortable, owener was very helpful/considerate.

This is an older facility which has made an attempt to be modern. Shower was new but the maintenance on shower head and valve is required. Same to be said for sink faucet Toilet needs to be replaced with a newer comfort height bowl. Check in was fairly easy even though the desk clerk seemed a little impatient. While Wi-Fi id and password was provided service was pretty much nonexistent.

Christine goes out her way to be a host and make you feel welcome at the Mt. Battie Inn. The rooms are clean and homey feeling. Grounds are well kept with beautiful gardens and flowers. Baked goods delivered to your room every night. Parking at your door. Great location just outside Camden and oh so easy to hop over to for dinner.

A nice dated motel with good units. The heater was a little funky but overall nice.

Lovely rooms with parking right in front of your room . You have to go up about 9 stairs to get to the level the rooms are on .Also have to carry your luggage accross the gravel as you cannot roll it.freshly baked Muffins are served to your room at 8 am the night before. There is a coffee maker and fridge in the room.

Absolutely charming, clean, old fashioned but with nice amenities. Bed was comfy, grounds were immaculate! They thought of everything, even a brown bag homemade breakfast. Delish!

First of all, Expedia misled us as to its location. We asked for accommodations close to Stonington, and they told us that Mt. Battie Inn was 18 or 19 miles away! It took us about an hour and a half to drive there from Stonington. They must have meant by boat, not by car! Also, this motel is not an "Inn", but it is a motel, which you can barely see way off to the left in the picture. The picture highlights the owner's residence. Considering what we paid for the room, we were surprised to see an old cathode tube TV in the room. Breakfast was a small bag of baked goods, a muffin and a slice of banana bread for each of us, brought to our room the night before. We did have a small coffee pot in the room, and a decent small refrigerator.
Aside from these negatives, the room was nicely furnished and comfortable, the baked goods were excellent, the staff were very helpful and pleasant, and the view and landscaping were beautiful.

The owner was very pleasant, offered great suggestions for restaurants. Offered very delicious home-made breads and muffins for breakfast. Was convenient to Camden, local hiking and good restaurants in Lincolnville. We especially enjoyed eating at A Whale's Tooth nearby. Looking forward to a return trip, peaceful and quiet.
